Pillar of Yita

Firstly, Miss Dragon Soul needs to get accustomed to her new body, and secondly, her presence on the ship guarantees a lifelong unforgettable memory for any intruders who dare to board.

However, when their group of more than ten people entered the elevator, after a while, the elevator emitted an embarrassing alarm sound.

Everyone’s eyes instinctively focused on Luo Hao.

This chubby guy from the military was sweating profusely: ”It didn’t sound the alarm when I came up earlier, is there something wrong?”

But under the glare of the elevator operator, a little girl with braided hair, he had to obediently get off the elevator.

As a result, everyone had to take the elevator in two trips, wasting quite a bit of time.

Luo Hao kept complaining along the way that the old elevator must be malfunctioning.

Fang Hong could only smile wryly and suggest he pay attention to his weight issue.

However, this time, Tianlan uncharacteristically stood on Luo Hao’s side, swearing:

”It seems like the alarm only went off after he came up.”

”As everyone knows, he was the last one to get on.”

But like all arguments, this one was destined to have no result and ended without resolution.

After all, once they entered the city, there were many things to be done.

Finding a place to stay, buying supplies, and each person needed to purchase some equipment—

As their levels gradually increased, Fang Hong was finding it increasingly difficult to manage the production of equipment for the whole team.

Due to the Dark Blessing, he could devote his experience to the Grand Artificer route, but during the construction of the Seven Seas Traveler, he had effectively chosen the paths of a shipwright and Crystal Craftsman.

The branches of Alchemy are truly too many and too detailed, and one person’s experience is ultimately limited.

He could still manage equipment around Level 20, but beyond that, it was impossible.

However, he could still help others with the major part of the equipment, the Magic Guided Reactor. As long as it wasn’t new, buying old blueprints to copy would still be much cheaper.

Add to that, the Seven Seas Traveler needs to recruit one or two sailors. Miss Tata couldn’t take charge of the ship all the time, the Magic Guided Engine couldn’t sustain such consumption.

He actually wrote a letter to the Forest, but they had just finished getting along with Mr. Greyrock, and they were also short-staffed.

Of course, even though they were short of people, Fang Hong wasn’t planning to just make up the numbers. The members of the Seven Seas Travel Group must align with its characteristics.

At the very least, they had to gain everyone’s approval.

If he couldn’t find suitable people, he’d rather not find anyone.

However, given the current special situation of the Seven Seas Travel Group, everyone didn’t act separately this time to avoid any accidents.

They expected to stay here for about two to three days, as the mooring fees were quite a significant expense, costing several thousand Lysel per day, akin to burning money.

So, let’s say, the airship itself is a gold-devouring beast, maintaining it is certainly not easy.

They have some money at the moment, but if they don’t cut costs and increase income, they would eventually run out of money.

Fortunately, everything is still going well. It’s the storm season on the Sky Sea, and Orlenze only has some visitors from the Northern Continent, so the city’s inns are quite empty. They easily found a place to stay.

Posting a task at the Adventurers’ Guild was also unexpectedly smooth. Shortly after they posted the task for a modest fee, a local guild contacted them, saying they had a batch of Earth Origin Crystals and were willing to sell if the price was right.

This was an unexpected surprise. Fang Hong arranged to meet with them a day later to negotiate and see if they could acquire the batch of Ether Crystals at an acceptable price.

The two most important tasks were completed in no time, which surprised everyone a bit.

Since it was still early, they decided to stay at the Adventurers’ Guild and gather some intelligence.

Since leaving Tansnier, they’ve been drifting on the Sky Sea, especially in places like Mist Bay where news is scarce, and there are hardly any people around.

Although there are communities, most of the information on them is gossip, true and false, and not very reliable on their own, mostly related to Invokers, who usually lack concern for the affairs of the Natives.

The Adventurers’ Guilds spread across the continent have dedicated information channels and exchanges with the Artisan Association; even though some news costs money, at least they’re reliable.

Fang Hong wasn’t interested in those paid news items — they’re mostly about adventures and treasures, and he’s not particularly interested in exploring the vicinity of Orlenze.

What he asked for were those news related to the North, about Colin Ishurian.

Unexpectedly, during the casual chat, he indeed stumbled upon big news.

The Adventurers’ Guild employee was a Lizardman, who complained to him in a sibilant voice about Nogness’s recent stringent scrutiny of Lizardmen, and then casually said:

”It seems like there’s something major happening in the North.”

”What happened?” Fang Hong rested his arm on the counter, glancing sideways, where Hilveld was watching with a veiled smile.

Miss Atira was holding a glass of water, opposite her, the Big Catfolk was gripping his smoking pipe with his furry paw.

Gathering information is usually the job of Tianlan and Hilveld, but this time, Elf Miss let him give it a try.

”It’s a good thing,” the Lizardman said, while filling out a form as if they had an endless pile, ”Young Phoenix Earl led an army to defeat the Rebels, relieving the Dulun front.”
