Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 191: Chapter 180 Changing Clothes for Li Wenxi_2

This outfit is definitely the strongest set, aside from him, at the moment.

Who else can have their entire gear made from materials of intermediate mutant beasts? Maybe only Ji Chaoyang can, but even Ji might not be able to, because the materials of intermediate mutant beasts are also needed for equipping the treehouse.

I don’t know if it’s an illusion, but when the steel armor is worn on Li Wenxi, it seems to become a bit smaller and fits her body better.

Although it’s heavy armor, the steel armor looks nothing like the cumbersome feel of iron armor. Instead, it makes her look like a female knight, holding a gun in one hand, full of bravery and an imposing presence.

But as soon as she opened her mouth, the atmosphere was ruined.

”Wow, this steel armor is much lighter than the blue-grade iron armor! And it doesn’t have that clanging noise of iron armor! And it’s shinier and looks much better than iron armor! It’s really nice! And these weapons, you’re amazing, Xu Xin!”

Li Wenxi waved her spear just like the first time he got it, the spear constantly emitting a pleasing sound.

Ah right, iron armor has a noise!

It’s been so long since he wore iron armor that he forgot that as long as the iron armor is in motion, it will make a very crisp sound, as if taunting the surrounding beasts.

It’s indeed nice, the practicality of the steel armor set is much stronger than the iron armor set.

”As long as you’re satisfied, I’ll give you some steel fire. You can refine the blocks in your free time, they are much stronger than iron blocks. Oh, right, return the reagent bottles to me. I’m too lazy to make them again.”

”Oh, okay.”

Xu Xin didn’t have any coal left in his hands, 1000 pieces might seem like a lot, but it could only make 40 bottles of steel fire, which he had just handed all over to Li Wenxi.

He took his beloved to the mine once again, and in just a few minutes, he had dug up three thousand pieces of coal, only making the coal mine bigger and deeper, with even more coal exposed.

However, Xu Xin felt a slight sense of crisis; if this mine continues to expand, won’t it collapse?

”Beloved, if you have nothing else to do, come and dig here more often, remove the layer of soil above, and turn this place into an open pit mine, or it might easily collapse.”

The beloved chirped softly, indicating understanding and did not return but continued to dig, according to Xu Xin’s words, began to dig and toss aside the upper few meters of soil.

A pangolin is like a construction team! When the two little guys grow up, he’ll have three construction teams!

Xu Xin didn’t disturb it, carrying three thousand pieces of coal back to the treehouse, made 80 portions of steel fire with two thousand pieces of coal, and gave Li Wenxi five hundred pieces as fuel, keeping five hundred pieces as a backup for himself.

After making so much steel fire, his mutant vine sap was also nearly exhausted. He then pulled up Silver King and Mimi and took them to the first floor of the treehouse, where half the space was empty except for the cold storage.

He released all the remaining mutant vines from his backpack, filling up this half space, and then made a few wooden barrels.

”You two, help me collect the sap from these mutant vines,” Xu Xin said to Silver King and Mimi, who were wide-eyed looking at the vines.

Silver King obediently picked up a vine, while Mimi seemed to roll her eyes at Xu Xin, lazily and slowly walking towards Silver King.

This guy just wants to slack off!

”Once you’re done collecting, I’ll take you guys out, this time we’ll go further,” he said.

Hearing this, Mimi’s body shook, and it immediately swung its paw, making a vertical slit on the vine, and thick white sap flowed out, dripping into the wooden barrel.

Xu Xin patted the heads of the two beasts in satisfaction and returned to the third floor.

It was almost noon, and the people in [Explorers] should have decided which functional area to focus on, right?

Keke lay on the sofa, the little guy being sleepy, would curl up to sleep when there was nothing to do. Seeing Xu Xin sit down, it climbed onto his leg and lay down to continue sleeping.

While smoothing the little guy’s fur, Xu Xin opened Explorers.

Explorers was relatively quiet, everyone seemed to be experimenting with the new capabilities of the treehouse.

Xu Xin asked, ”Have you all allocated your enhancement points already?”

There was an immediate reaction in the chat.

Li Wenxi was the first to respond, ”I’ve focused on the smelting room! If anyone has ores, or anything like glass that needs smelting, you can come to me!”

Wang Lei: ”Seems like there isn’t much to add to, like the smelting room or workshop; all my equipment was bought from Brother Xin and Boss Ji, I can’t make them anyway, so I just added to the kitchen. If you guys have any high-quality ingredients, you can find me for cooking, my culinary skills, utensils, and kitchen effects are all top-notch!”

Zhao Xiaochuan: ”Really? Can you cook? By the way, I added to the planting room! Once I plant enough vegetables and fruits, we won’t have to rely on the jungle for food!”

Qin Yunlong: ”...Wang Lei is so robust, I can’t imagine him cooking.”

Wang Lei: ”Are you kidding? I’ve been living alone since I started working, if I didn’t cook for myself, would I just starve?”

Qin Yunhu: ”Order takeout.”

Wang Lei: ”...Life needs to be a bit more refined.”

Wen Guixin: ”Never thought the word ’refined’ would come out of your mouth... Well, we should leave the cooking tasks to you then! You can cook for everyone every day, didn’t Xu Xin say the mutant beast meat has strengthening effects? You cooking it might make the effects more evident.”

Wang Lei: ”Please, I see you’re just lazy to cook, I’m not going to be your nanny. If you have high-grade ingredients, you can find me, rest assured I won’t rip you off, but Wen Guixin, what did you focus on?”

Wen Guixin: ”I focused on a functional area related to my own abilities, it doesn’t relate to you guys for now. If we meet in the future, I can help you. By the way, our treehouse protection zones should be connected now, right? Can we meet up now?”

Xu Xin: ”I’m planning to go out and explore this afternoon; I’ll inform you about the situation then.”

Ji Chaoyang: ”You haven’t gone out either, huh? Go explore this afternoon; I won’t be able to go. I need to sort out yesterday’s information on my end.”

Xu Xin: ”Okay.”

Qi Xuefei: ”I always feel like you two are hiding something from us?”

Ji Chaoyang: ”We are indeed discussing some matters; we’ll inform you once the situation becomes clear.”

Li Wenxi: ”Wow... is this the little secret of the big bosses? I’m envious, I want to know too.”

Their [Explorers] had allocated functional areas that, except for Zhao Xiaochuan’s planting area, didn’t really conflict with his own efforts. However, his small planting area is far from sufficient, so Zhao Xiaochuan focusing on planting is completely fine.

His current plan is that once team cooperation starts, those survivors who focused on the same functional areas could be grouped together for collective development, each person taking on their role, while the members of these Explorers would be the leaders.

Of course, this is just a plan, as the situation in the second phase is still unclear.

Holding Keke, Xu Xin went to the dining room and set up the grill.

Once this meal is finished, he would go check out the east side to see if it was really possible to reach other people’s treehouses.
