Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 182: Chapter 173: Powerful Alchemy!

Xu Xin marveled at the treehouse upgrade. No wonder, no wonder that mysterious voice said their survival rate would greatly improve. With such a strong treehouse, wouldn’t the survival rate indeed increase significantly!

He calmed his mind and called Li Wenxi.

The treehouse is indeed strong, but he still hasn’t figured out his alchemy. First, he needs to set up the alchemy station and understand the function of his new ability [Alchemy].

Li Wenxi connected the call almost instantly.

”Xu Xin, have you seen the treehouse’s new features! So strong!” Li Wenxi’s voice was a bit excited, ”With these features, my metal smelting speed can greatly increase in the future!”

”Indeed, it’s strong. But we must consider carefully how to allocate the enhancement points. How much decoration value do you have?” Xu Xin asked.

”Hmm... 53. I’ve made a full set of rosewood furniture, added some ornamental fish, and various colored crystals,” Li Wenxi said. ”How about that, is it okay? How much do you have?”

”Hmm... just a little more than you.” Xu Xin didn’t reveal the truth, fearing it might discourage her. But this also made him start pondering.

The artist ability is unique to him and Ji Chaoyang in the entire area. It’s an exclusive ability that allows them to provide decoration-increasing items to others.

Maybe he should really put more effort into this aspect.

If he puts more enhancements into the art room, his sculpting and painting speed will double, allowing faster production of statues. This will not only increase his decoration value faster but also enable him to sell statues to others.

”How do you plan to allocate the enhancement points?” Li Wenxi asked, her tone full of enthusiasm. ”I plan to focus on smelting and crafting. Oh, if the smelting speed increases, I feel I might even be able to provide metal blocks to people outside the organization!”

”I haven’t decided yet, just have a rough plan.”

”I think it’s better to focus on one main area.” Li Wenxi suggested.

”Indeed. By the way, do you have a lot of blue-grade iron and stone blocks?”

”A lot, plenty, and I’ll have even more in the future. How much do you need? I’ll just give it to you directly.” The little rich girl was in a good mood, ready to directly offer him resources.

The amount Xu Xin needed surprised Li Wenxi, but she didn’t ask much and traded it over to him, just saying, ”Don’t forget me when you gain benefits.”

So straightforward, Xu Xin was a bit embarrassed.

With the materials in hand, he immediately crafted the alchemy station. A prompt suggested him to choose where to place it, and he chose the second floor of the treehouse.

Keke was still hugging her big tail, smacking her lips in her sleep. Xu Xin left the bedroom; Silver King and Mimi were still resting.

As he passed by, Silver King wasn’t disturbed, and Mimi lifted her eyes, saw it was Xu Xin, and then continued to close her eyes, not even wanting to move.

It seems last night’s battle still consumed much of their energy.

Xu Xin went to the second floor and saw the alchemy station he had made.

This station looked particularly similar to the mutation potion station, like a small platform resembling an hourglass. Like all workbenches, it had a small screen on top.

He hadn’t planned the second floor very well before, resulting in too many and messy workbenches, which couldn’t be directly divided into different functional areas.

It needs a bit of sorting to categorize the workbenches and make walls to separate them, establishing individual workshops.

Xu Xin stood in front of the alchemy station and opened the screen.

The production list contained some novel materials he had never seen before.

[Iron Sand (Green): Iron sand made from iron blocks, one of the raw materials for universal alchemy materials. Requires Iron Block (Green)*1]

[Black Gold Dust (Blue): Dust made from black gold blocks, one of the raw materials for universal alchemy materials. Requires Black Gold Block (Blue)*1]

[Universal Alchemy Material (Blue): The most widely used material in alchemy, can be used to make potions, strengthen armor and weapons, craft special tools, etc. Requires Mutant Plant Juice*1kg, Iron Sand (Blue)*1, Silver Dust (Blue) or Gold Dust (Blue) or Black Gold Dust (Blue)*1]

Universal alchemy material, sounds very impressive.

Although he hadn’t seen gold or silver, he... Li Wenxi has black gold, so now he has the ability to craft this universal alchemy material.

Scrolling down the list, Xu Xin’s eyes widened.

He found that his newly unlocked ability was immensely powerful.

In the [Alchemy Station], there was actually a bunch of potion recipes!

[Strength Potion (Blue): A potion that can slightly permanently increase strength, requires Apple (Blue)*10, Universal Alchemy Material (Blue)*1]

[Spiritual Potion (Blue): A potion that can slightly increase spiritual power permanently, requires Orange (Blue)*10, Universal Alchemy Material (Blue)*1]

[Stamina Potion (Blue): A potion that can slightly permanently increase stamina recovery speed, requires Apricot (Blue)*10, Universal Alchemy Material (Blue)*1]

These potions can actually convert the abilities of blue-grade fruits into permanent abilities for the survivors themselves!

You should know, food that can permanently enhance attributes at the blue level is rare, he hadn’t eaten much, and every time he did, it was incredibly rewarding. And now, he can use cultivatable blue-grade fruits to produce these precious potions!

This makes the planting house suddenly very important!

At the same time, he also discovered that besides the production list, his alchemy station had an added enhancement list.

Upon opening it, he found that the universal alchemy material could actually enhance all the weapons and armor he currently owned, including his purple-grade Scale Armor set!

Enhanced equipment would see increases in sharpness, hardness, and even set attributes!

The alchemist ability unlocked by the creator’s privilege was immensely powerful! It could create potions to enhance oneself and could also enhance weapons, providing a comprehensive boost in survivors’ strength!

Moreover, the best part is this ability doesn’t only benefit him; these potions and enhanced weapons are all tradable!

This ability he gained was nearly equivalent to a hidden profession, much like Qi Xuefei’s [Doctor King] ability!

From now on, he’s an alchemist!

Wait a minute.

The description of the universal alchemy material mentioned it could be used to craft special tools besides making potions and enhancing weapons and armor. What are these special tools?

Xu Xin scoured the production list and finally found a new crafting blueprint in the initial treehouse crafting list.

”Holy crap!”NovelFire

Upon seeing this blueprint, he couldn’t help but cry out in surprise.

Maybe his exclamation was a bit too loud; with his enhanced hearing, he clearly heard the sounds of Keke, Silver King, and Mimi being startled awake from the third floor, and the three beasts rushed over, thinking something had happened.

Xu Xin didn’t pay them any mind, his attention was entirely captivated by this blueprint.

[Coordinates (Blue): Can be placed on any flat surface, and any friendly or neutral unit can teleport between coordinates with the creator’s permission. Requires Wood (Blue)*10, Steel Block (Blue)*10, Universal Alchemy Material (Blue)*10]

These coordinates (Blue) are essentially a portal! Such a thing appeared! Moreover, it can be used by anyone as long as he permits it!

The strategic value of this thing is immense!

Xu Xin was so thrilled. This ability brought him a joy comparable to the upgraded treehouse!

But... aren’t the required materials a bit too much!

Also, what is a steel block, and how is it refined...
