Berserk God of War

Chapter 466: Chapter 466 Leaving, Ambush

The Dark Wing War Gods showed no reaction to the sudden appearance of the two figures, their one and only command was to charge!

The Dark Wing Army advanced in a frenzied march.

Soon, they reached the site where both sides were engaged in battle.

Sikong Jing abruptly raised his hand, and the two hundred thousand Dark Wing soldiers instantly halted, forming ranks with impeccable precision. Then, Sikong Jing coldly stared at the great battle in the mountain forest, his voice thundering out, ”Cease fighting immediately, or face death without mercy.”

However, no one paid them any attention.

It wasn’t that Qin Heng and the others didn’t want to respond, but they were simply too overwhelmed to speak.

”I will say it again, cease fighting immediately... or face death without mercy.”

The voice from beneath the mask became incredibly deep, imbued with Sikong Jing’s powerful will belonging to the battlefield, carrying the soaring momentum of the two hundred thousand Dark Wing Camp soldiers and harshly bombarding both sides of the fight.

In that moment, the pressure Yu Wenxiong had on Qin Heng and his companions paused slightly...

The latter seized the opportunity to blast out, leading Huo Yanmei and others to quickly break away from the fray and rush towards Sikong Jing and his group.

Naturally, they didn’t realize that the Dark Wing Commander in front of them was Sikong Jing. They hastily said, ”Commander, we did not wish to start a war, but we were left with no choice. Long Night Star Palace has broken the terms of the wager.”

The next instant, Yu Wenxiong and Feng Tingfu, along with the experts of Xingluo Palace, chased out after them.

They were unlike Qin Heng and his group; they didn’t take the Dark Wing Camp seriously at all. Yu Wenxiong spoke coldly, ”Leave at once, or you will be making an enemy of Long Night Star Palace.”

Yu Wenxiong certainly couldn’t let Qin Heng return to Qilong Mountain, otherwise, he would be difficult to deal with.

With Shen Qingye absent, it was an opportunity to slay all Holy Dragon Palace experts.

At this moment, Beigong Xianfeng’s voice drifted over eerily.

”First of all, it was you who invited the Long Night Empire to oversee the battle between the two palaces, and from a moral standpoint, I have the right to intervene.”

”Secondly, this is the Court Hunting Ground of the Long Night Empire, not a place for you to fight.”

”Lastly, Long Night Star Palace lost the wager and reneged on the bet. As the overseers, we also have the authority to protect the victors.”

With these words booming from afar, Beigong Xianfeng stood upon a giant flying creature, his cold gaze fixed on Yu Wenxiong and his group, ”But we do not wish to meddle too much. Now leave the Court Hunting Ground, and fight however you wish elsewhere.”

”Furthermore, after this incident, Long Night Star Palace can forget about borrowing anything from the Long Night Empire again. Leave!”

Following Beigong Xianfeng’s words, a cold light flickered in Yu Wenxiong’s eyes.

They had indeed lost unfairly, but Long Night Star Palace has always looked down on the Long Night Empire. Being threatened by Beigong Xianfeng in such a manner naturally fanned the flames of their anger.

Looking up in retort, Yu Wenxiong declared, ”Beigong Xianfeng, let the Long Night Emperor come and speak to me himself.”

”Right now, we are going to kill everyone from Holy Dragon Palace. We are going to kill right here, and there’s nothing you can do to stop us.”

”These mere soldiers are useless!”

At this point, Yu Wenxiong shouted once more, ”Qin Heng, today Holy Dragon Palace must be annihilated.”

As he finished speaking, True Qi surged wildly among all those from Xingluo Palace.

Meanwhile, beneath his mask, Sikong Jing couldn’t help but laugh. He slowly lifted his hand and commanded, ”Dark Wing Camp, follow my lead and kill!”

”Kill!”

Following Sikong Jing’s order, blood boiled in all the Dark Wing Camp soldiers. Riding their Black Steeds, they followed Sikong Jing in a frenzied charge toward Yu Wenxiong and his men, as their Battle Aura soared into the sky.

At that point, Feng Tingfu, who had been beaten to a pulp, roared furiously at Sikong Jing and his men, ”Good-for-nothing curs!”

To someone like him, what worth were mere foot soldiers and horses?

These soldiers and horses, most of whom were only in the Innate Second and Third Realm, seemed like ants in Feng Tingfu’s eyes.

As Feng Tingfu charged towards them, Sikong Jing said coldly, ”All units, heed my command. The first style of the Dark Wing Black Burning Sword, strike as one!”

In an instant, all two hundred thousand soldiers lifted their swords, unleashing black flames of sword light, fiercely blasting out.

One after another, they soared like Dark Winged Dragon Eagles spreading their wings, their sword light howling like the long cry of a dragon eagle.

Of course, the sword light of someone in the Innate Realm couldn’t possibly strike Feng Tingfu.

But the black burning sword light suddenly converged into one, gathering upon Sikong Jing’s sword.

Afterward, Sikong Jing manifested the first move of the third tier of the Dark Wing Black Burning Sword, harnessing the Black Steed’s momentum and the combined sword power of two hundred thousand men, and furiously slammed it into the oncoming Feng Tingfu.

”Wow...”

The moment Feng Tingfu caught the sword, he let out a scream, his entire body sent flying by the sword light.

In that instant, the faces of the people from the Three Great Academies, including Ji Ming and Ji Han, among others, changed, revealing looks of disbelief.

Meanwhile, Sikong Jing slowly raised his sword and pointed it at Yu Wenxiong, saying, ”Long Night Star Palace, no mercy shall be shown!”

Boom...

At his command, Sikong Jing spurred his horse into action.

Two hundred thousand men followed close behind, like a black stream of light piercing through the verdant hunting grounds, charging straight towards everyone from the Long Night Star Palace.

The terrifying momentum seemed as if it could overwhelm everything.

Qin Heng and the others, following behind the army, looked at each other. Wu Ding asked, ”Vice Palace Master Qin, should we also join the fight?”

”Yes, by cooperating with this so-called Dark Wing Army, we can certainly annihilate the Xingluo Palace,” Master Yun said, with a gleam in his eye.

But Qin Heng furrowed his brows and said, ”That’s not possible. Beigong Xianfeng is on our side, but we can’t cause him too much trouble. If we act, it would be considered collusion with Beigong Xianfeng.”

”In that case, the Xingluo General Academy will make trouble for Beigong Xianfeng.”

As these words were spoken, Wu Ding opened his mouth but eventually nodded in agreement.

At that moment, Cao Yi suddenly appeared. He had heard what Qin Heng said and laughed, ”Thank you, Vice Palace Master Qin, for your consideration. Our commander sent me to discuss this very matter, but it seems there’s no need now.”

After a pause, Cao Yi smirked and said, ”Vice Palace Master Qin, you should leave the Court Hunting Ground now and set up an ambush outside. We will force the people of the Long Night Star Palace to have no choice but to leave the hunting ground.”

”That’s when your opportunity will arise.”

Having said that, Cao Yi vanished without waiting for Qin Heng’s response.

He couldn’t afford to be in contact with the people of the Holy Dragon Palace for too long, lest they be discovered.

Qin Heng and the others exchanged glances, then retreated from the Court Hunting Ground without any further ado.

While leaving, they watched the charge of the Dark Wing Army against the Xingluo Palace.

They saw the Dark Wing Commander, using the power of his troops, relentlessly bombarding Yu Wenxiong and the others with devastating momentum.

The power of his leadership was fully demonstrated in this moment.

”This Dark Wing Commander is truly formidable; no wonder even the Seventh Prince wants to acquire him from Beigong Xianfeng,” Qin Heng couldn’t help but exclaim, to which Huo Yanmei and the others nodded in agreement.

Gradually, they reached the entrance of the Court Hunting Ground, where they regrouped with Qin Lao and others. Qin Heng asked them, ”Where’s Sikong Jing?”

Scanning the area, Qin Heng did not spot Sikong Jing.

Yisuo stretched out a hand towards the direction of the Dark Wing Camp and replied softly, ”He must have joined the Dark Wing Camp.”

As these words came out, Qin Heng was stunned at first, and then realization dawned on him. It was no wonder Beigong Xianfeng was so amicable towards the Holy Dragon Palace.

All of Sikong Jing’s family were in the Long Night Black Burning Army.

And now, Sikong Jing had joined the Dark Wing Camp, charging into battle for the sake of the Holy Dragon Palace.

Clenching his fists tightly, Qin Heng spoke in a low voice, ”Everyone, get into position and lie in ambush, waiting for the people of the Xingluo Palace to emerge...”

Today’s victory was all thanks to Sikong Jing; they couldn’t let it go to waste.
