Berserk God of War

Chapter 328: Chapter 328: Dare to Touch My Brother?

The servant had barely finished speaking when Lang Yisuo stood dumbfounded, ”Why?”

”No reason, you just can’t go in,” the servant shrugged and said.

Behind him, Sikong Jing and Ning Jingjing exchanged glances with each other, their faces gloomy, fearing that this issue might be related to Tao Yue.

Indeed, a light laugh followed, as Tao Yue and Tao Huai stepped out from the corridors of Wanbao Pavilion, taunting, ”Ning Jingjing, I just told you, you won’t be setting foot inside Wanbao Pavilion tonight.”

”I have plenty of friends and relatives, while you, Ning Jingjing, are no longer qualified to be my friend.”

Tao Yue looked down from her lofty position, her eyes filled with contempt.

All of a sudden, her gaze fell on Lang Yisuo, asking with some surprise, ”Hm? Lang Yisuo, what are you doing here?”

Lang Yisuo, however, was momentarily dazed, blushing, and, with some excitement, rushed over.

”Yueyue, are you also visiting Wanbao Pavilion?”

Seeing Lang Yisuo’s excited demeanor, Ning Jingjing subconsciously looked at Sikong Jing and whispered, ”Tell me, can we count on this brother of Holy Dragon Palace? It looks like he’s quite interested in Tao Yue?”

Sikong Jing was speechless, the events of tonight were too coincidental.

However, at that moment, Tao Yue’s voice suddenly grew longer, her face filled with disgust, ”Lang Yisuo, don’t you ever get tired? I’ve told you we’re not suitable, so why do you keep bothering me?”

At these words, Lang Yisuo’s face turned from red to white, stammering, ”I didn’t, I had no idea you would be here.”

”Stop lying; you must have known that I was coming to Wanbao Pavilion and deliberately followed me.”

Tao Yue rebutted, believing herself right, and then pointed at his nose.

”Let me tell you, we’re not from the same world; there’s no chance for us. I know you have some money, but your family is just a bunch of upstarts, totally unworthy of me.”

”I’m aiming for Lei Zizhen. How can you even compare with him?”

By the end, Tao Yue had again brought up someone with whom Lang Yisuo could not possibly be compared.

Lang Yisuo opened his mouth and then suddenly clenched his teeth, ”Yueyue, I’ll surpass Lei Zizhen, I will...”

Before he could finish, Tao Huai unfeelingly interrupted him, still with disdain, ”Lang Yisuo, who would believe such words? Haven’t you looked in the mirror? How can you compare with Brother Lei?”

”I’m serious, as long as Master Sikong...”

What Lang Yisuo wanted to say was that if he were to follow Sikong Jing through all the mountain paths, surpassing Lei Zizhen wasn’t impossible.

But before he could finish, Tao Yue’s eyes suddenly lit up.

Then, with a turn of her beautiful eyes and a light chuckle, she cut him off, ”Lang Yisuo, it’s not that I won’t give you a chance. Just kill that little apprentice for me, and I’ll have dinner with you tonight as a reward.”

With these words, Tao Yue pointed at Sikong Jing, her eyes coquettishly.

Lang Yisuo paused for a moment, then looked at Sikong Jing, and asked hesitantly, ”Yueyue, you want to kill Junior Brother Sikong?”

”Yes, just kill him, and I’ll give you a chance to pursue me.”

Having said that, Tao Yue, pulling her brother Tao Huai along, turned and walked back into Wanbao Pavilion, her voice echoing from inside: ”I’ll be waiting for you in Wanbao Pavilion. Remember to come see me with his head.”

Afterward, the two of them stepped inside and disappeared from Lang Yisuo’s sight.

Meanwhile, Ning Jingjing had already drawn her sword and stood in front of Sikong Jing, watching Lang Yisuo warily.

Lang Yisuo stood still for a long while.

Suddenly, he turned to stare at Sikong Jing, and then with a bitter smile, he said, ”Junior Brother Sikong, Tao Yue is the girl I like. We attended the Martial Combat Test of Holy Dragon Palace together, and she fascinated me back then.”

As Lang Yisuo spoke, his eyes were full of infatuation, as if recalling very fond memories.

They were both third-year students and had done many things together, but later on, Tao Yue started to disdain him.

But at this moment, Lang Yisuo suddenly bellowed, ”However, Tao Yue... come out for a moment.”

In an instant, Tao Yue and Tao Huai halted in their tracks, turned around, and walked out.

With clear displeasure, Tao Yue said, ”Lang Yisuo, until we’ve killed this little apprentice, there’s nothing to discuss.”

All of a sudden, Lang Yisuo’s face twisted in pain.

”Yueyue, why must you force me like this?”

As soon as he finished speaking, Lang Yisuo disappeared on the spot only to appear abruptly in front of Tao Yue, and then he struck out with a slap that resounded crisply as it sent Tao Yue flying.

The latter crashed heavily to the ground, covering his face in shock.

The next moment, Tao Huai shouted angrily, ”Lang Yisuo, what the hell are you doing? How dare you hit my sister?”

However, Lang Yisuo charged forward and slapped Tao Yue again, shouting furiously, ”You dare to touch my brother, and you even dare to talk about killing him? Do you really think I’m a pushover?”

No sooner had he spoken than not only the Tao siblings were stunned, but also Ning Jingjing, Elder Wei, and Su Yuexi were gaping in disbelief.

Sikong Jing was equally taken aback. Had Lang Yisuo suddenly come to his senses?

Was he driven mad by Tao Yue?

Originally, Sikong Jing was prepared to give Lang Yisuo a talk about Lei Zizhen’s situation, fearing that he would be in great pain and despair, but he never expected Lang Yisuo to slap so fiercely, so decisively.

What was going on?

Tao Yue, with her face feeling aflame, could not believe what she was seeing.

Lang Yisuo, the man who had always adored her fervently, now dared to strike her; what’s more, he was a known pushover. Even if he knew the little apprentice, he should never have laid a hand on her.

How could he be so harsh towards her?

With his characteristically timid and servile nature, how could he possibly change so drastically all of a sudden?

But Tao Yue swiftly stopped thinking about it; she had been slapped again, this time by the very person who had always licked her boots. She couldn’t accept it and roared loudly, ”Come, someone, kill him for me.”

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh...

Immediately, several of the Tao family’s guards charged out from the direction of the Tao family beast chariot, rushing fiercely towards Lang Yisuo.

At the same time, Sikong Jing and Ning Jingjing exchanged a glance, ”Kill!”

Both lunged at the Tao family guards. Sikong Jing unleashed the Golden Dragon Fist, the Dark Dragon Fist, and the Cloud Dragon Fist, blasting two guards away with three punches, while Ning Jingjing dispatched three men with three swift sword strikes, unstoppable in her assault.

Seeing this, Tao Yue’s eyes widened, and she shouted again, ”Wanbao Pavilion, someone is fighting on your turf!”

The next instant, a master Protector of the Wanbao Pavilion appeared.

A woman in her thirties emerged, and upon seeing Tao Yue sitting on the ground with her face cupped in her hands, her complexion turned steely blue.

The female Protector pointed at Lang Yisuo, ”Yueyue, was it this man who hit you?”

Tao Yue stood up and spoke bitterly, ”That’s right, cousin, this is the bootlicker I told you about. He’s gone mad with rabies and dared to strike my face. Find an excuse to kill him.”

The woman stared at Lang Yisuo and said coldly, ”There’s no need for an excuse. If you dare to fight in Wanbao Pavilion, dying wouldn’t raise any objections.”

With that, she gestured to the other Protectors around her, who started to close in on Lang Yisuo.

Outside, Ning Jingjing whispered to Sikong Jing, ”This is bad. That woman is Tong Ya, Tao Yue’s cousin, and it looks like she’s now the head Protector of the Wanbao Pavilion.”

Sikong Jing nodded in understanding. The reason he couldn’t enter earlier, even with the VIP Crystal Card, must have been because of her presence.
