Berserk God of War

Chapter 310: Chapter 310: The Momentum of Black Flame, Unstoppable

Thump, thump, thump...

Then, the heavy vibrations of impact sounded.

The clamor of horse hooves appeared at the end of the street, and soon the vast thoroughfare was overrun by a tide of black-clad soldiers.

At the forefront, Sikong Jing led the thunderous charge of eighty thousand warriors of the Black Burning Army.

Following that, Sikong Jing bellowed loudly, ”Today, I dare anyone to strike General Ning.”

As his words fell, Sikong Jing had already arrived at the gates of the Ning Family, forcefully reining in his Black Steed, while the Black-armored Soldiers swarmed behind him, encircling the entire gathering at the Ning household’s entrance.

The scene was spectacular, causing countless onlookers to shudder.

Yet, Ning Shouye swept a glance around, sneered, and said, ”Jingjing, so the big-headed soldiers have come for you. Do you think they’ll be of any use? Haha... Strike, and don’t hesitate to do so!”

As one of the Six Great Families of the Long Night Imperial City, how could they care about the tens of thousands from the Long Night Black Burning Army?

It wasn’t just some from the Ning family; the Qian family members sneered as well.

The spectators also scoffed, ”I thought some Vice Commander had come, but it turned out to be just tens of thousands of big-headed soldiers. What use are they?”

”That guy leading them is truly laughable, saying who dares to strike... today, everyone dares to strike.”

”Exactly, big-headed soldiers are just that, unable to even distinguish between high and low, noble and base—a bunch of brainless trash.”

No one took Sikong Jing and the Black Burning Army seriously.

Only Ning Jingjing was shaken throughout her body, her gaze sweeping towards Sikong Jing and the others, showing gratitude, but then she was immediately astonished.

She was stunned—how could there still be soldiers from the 96th Legion here?

”Strike,” commanded Ning Old Grand Dowager, scoffing at Sikong Jing’s presence.

And at this moment, Sikong Jing roared again, ”Kill! Every Black-armored Soldier, follow me and slaughter all of the Qian family!”

”Yes!”

The eighty thousand soldiers, having been baptized by the previous night’s battle, had long forgotten what fear was.

Sikong Jing’s order sent tremors through their bodies, and they charged towards the kneeling members of the Qian family, following Sikong Jing’s lead.

”You dare?” fumed Qian Yinzhong, his body bursting with energy as he then turned and launched himself into the fray.

”Kill!”

Sikong Jing, without a care, let out a cry, harnessing the collective strength of the Black-armored Soldiers, and charged at the oncoming Qian Yinzhong.

The combined True Qi of tens of thousands struck the formidable Qian Yinzhong, whose complexion turned ghastly pale. With a retch, he was flung backward, crashing heavily into the Ning family’s surrounding wall.

No matter how high Qian Yinzhong’s realm was, he couldn’t withstand the combined assault of eighty thousand men!

”Slaughter, Dark Wing Black Burning Sword!”

Sikong Jing didn’t spare Qian Yinzhong a glance, pointing instead at all the kneeling Qian family members as black flames rose around them.

At the same time, the swords in the hands of all the Black-armored Soldiers turned into black flames, their presence terrifyingly overwhelming.

On the way here, the fifty thousand former soldiers of the 96th Legion had all learned the Dark Wing Black Burning Sword. Now, without any delay, they struck at the Qian family members.

This scene was staggeringly shocking, with ten thousand swords striking as one!

”You scoundrels dare!” the Ning Old Grand Dowager roared angrily, then said to those around her, ”Everyone, follow me and block these big-headed soldiers.”

In an instant, led by Ning Old Grand Dowager, the experts of the Ning family sprang into action, leaping forward to intercept the onslaught of ten thousand swords. Then, Ning Old Grand Dowager and the Ning family experts clashed with the eighty thousand Black-armored Soldiers, solidifying in confrontation...

Two breaths later, Ning Old Grand Dowager and several dozen others fell back to their original positions.

But the eighty thousand Black-armored Soldiers, led by Sikong Jing, stood unflinchingly still.

Even though their hands trembled continuously, even though the realms of the Ning family members were far above their own, they stood fearless, still raising their swords alongside Sikong Jing, aimed at the Qian family members: ”Slaughter!”

Eighty thousand voices roared in unison, their murderous intent surging!

The faces of the Qian Family members finally changed, turning to shock.

Ning Old Grand Dowager’s face also changed; never had she imagined that these tens of thousands from the Long Night Black Burning Army would be so resolute. As one of the Six Great Families, they had never considered that they would face rebellion from such high-ranking soldiers.

They were lofty and arrogant, looking down on everyone.

But they forgot that the Black Burning Army was an army; they who had charged into enemy countries, why would they care about the status of their opponents?

Moreover, the Black Burning Army was one of the strongest elite forces of the Long Night Empire.

Seeing that the eighty thousand Black-armored Soldiers were about to begin their slaughter, Ning Old Grand Dowager abruptly turned to Ning Jingjing, ”Aren’t you going to make them stop?”

Although Ning Jingjing was still puzzled, wondering why the 96th Legion from Lan Zhuanghe were there, at this moment she had no time to think further, simply replying indifferently, ”Some inside are not my soldiers; I can’t control them.”

Hearing this, Ning Old Grand Dowager was boiling with rage, but there was no time to scold Ning Jingjing.

Because Sikong Jing and the others were really about to strike down the Qian Family members with deadly force.

In the end, Ning Old Grand Dowager could only shout with great force, ”Cease, let’s talk.”

After she spoke, she felt extremely stifled but could not let the Qian Family members be slaughtered; otherwise, who would dare to side with the Ning Family.

In her heart, though, she was thinking, once she had gathered the masters of the Ning Family, they would pay.

At this moment, Sikong Jing waved his hand again, signaling the eighty thousand soldiers to stop, then looked towards Ning Old Grand Dowager, ”Why didn’t you say so earlier? We came here to talk sense, after all.”

His words almost drove the terrified Qian Family members to curse loudly. Was this their idea of talking sense?

But Sikong Jing paid no heed to any member of the Qian Family, instead staring intently at Ning Old Grand Dowager, ”You are Ning Old Grand Dowager, right? Can you release our General Ning now?”

”Of course, I can’t!” Ning Old Grand Dowager’s face turned cold, and she shouted with a chilling look, ”Ning Jingjing has decided to leave the Black Burning Army, so her affairs are beyond anyone’s control.”

Just as Elder Wei’s received message said, the Ning Family was forcing Ning Jingjing to leave the Black Burning Army.

Regardless of her own wishes, she must leave.

At this time, Ning Jingjing coldly responded, ”When did I ever say I would leave the Black Burning Army? I will not leave!”

Her voice was decisive, brooking no doubt.

Sikong Jing then continued, ”Daring to force General Ning to leave the Black Burning Army, men, slaughter the Qian Family members.”

His words reignited the Black Flames, the eighty thousand men ready to charge at the Qian Family once again.

”Cease!” Ning Old Grand Dowager’s face changed again as she shouted forcefully.

But this time, Sikong Jing did not stop. Instead, he charged and slashed towards the Qian Family members.

Screams rose instantly as lives were cut down, blood splattering everywhere!

The onlookers exploded in shock; they were really daring to kill!

”Cease, all of you stop, let’s talk!” Ning Old Grand Dowager shouted forcefully upon seeing this.

This was too cruel, far too cruel.

These Black Burning Army soldiers were like madmen; did they not fear the severe consequences?

Sikong Jing then waved his hand again, gently wiping the blood off his sword, a smile surfacing as he said, ”Had you done this earlier, wouldn’t the Qian Family have avoided death? We are really here to talk sense, not to create slaughter!”

The Qian Family members were close to spitting blood. How was this not creating slaughter? How many had they already killed?

”Ning Old Grand Dowager, may I ask if General Ning will leave the Black Burning Army?” Sikong Jing squinted, his face threatening.

Upon hearing this, the Qian Family members looked desperately towards Ning Old Grand Dowager.

They feared that if she uttered the word ”leave,” these Black-armored Soldiers would resume their massacre.

Ning Old Grand Dowager certainly understood this. But now, saying she wouldn’t leave, where would she put her face?
