Berserk God of War

Chapter 322: Chapter 322: Chief of Thunder Dragon Mountain, Lei Zizhen

At the same time, Tao Yue’s expression also darkened as she exclaimed, ”You mere apprentice...”

”Dark Dragon Fist!”

Before she finished speaking, Sikong Jing suddenly shouted in a low voice, and the second Dragon Vein within his body exploded, channeling pitch-black True Qi into his fist.

Then, he punched towards Tao Yue.

Like a black dragon being born, roaring and exploding onto Tao Yue.

The latter was caught off guard and screamed as she was sent flying, as if pierced by a dark current.

Boom!

With a loud crash, Tao Yue heavily smashed into the wall, spat out a mouthful of blood, and then lay flat on the ground.

Sikong Jing retracted his fist, looking very pleased with his Dark Dragon Fist.

”It seems that the two Dragon Veins complement each other. If I were to challenge and complete all seven Dragon Veins, the Seven Dragon Fist might at least become a Mid-level Universe-grade Martial Skill,” Sikong Jing murmured to himself.

Afterwards, without paying any attention to Tao Yue, he turned and walked into the Task Hall.

Outside the Task Hall, there was dead silence.

An Inner Palace Student was sent flying by a punch from a new apprentice, and that punch was too terrifying; no one present felt they could withstand it.

”Sister, sister...” Tao Huai was the first to react, madly rushing towards Tao Yue.

”Waah...”

Another mouthful of blood spurted out, and finally, with the help of her brother, Tao Yue stood up, wiping the blood from her lips, and said, ”I’m going to kill him... Go call someone, bring over the experts from our Tao family.”

Her entire face twisted with immense humiliation and indignity!

Being defeated in front of so many people as an Inner Palace Student, she was going insane, as everyone’s look at her had changed.

”Junior Sister Tao, how did you get injured, what happened?”

Just then, a refined male voice sounded, and a man radiating purple light appeared, god-like.

Upon seeing him, everyone’s pupils contracted.

Someone whispered softly, ”Lei Zizhen, the Chief Inner Palace Student from Thunder Dragon Mountain.”

”Not just the Chief, he is also the son of Thunder Dragon Mountain’s Dean Lei Hongteng and one of the three Great Deacon Students of the Task Hall.”

Another person introduced the man, their voice trembling.

When Tao Yue saw him, her ferocious face suddenly turned pitifully charming, and she flung herself at him.

Gently leaning into his embrace, she cooed, ”Brother Lei, I was hit, ambushed by an apprentice.”

Upon hearing this, Lei Zizhen’s eyes flashed with a cold light, along with a trace of shock.

Even though Tao Yue was only a wing of the Inner Palace Students, and even though she became an Inner Palace Student only after getting into his bed, she shouldn’t have been beaten by an apprentice like this!

”Brother Lei, that person must have relied on the power of an Innate Treasure, that black flowing light was terrifying.”

”Right, I just saw that he clearly only had the aura of the Martial Body Realm, it’s impossible for him to deliver such a terrifying punch.”

”And with the ambush, that’s why Junior Sister Tao was beaten.”

Several students from Thunder Dragon Mountain quickly ran over, emphatically stating the details.

Just like last time at the Martial Dragon Palace during the encounter with Qian Jingfu, Official Students couldn’t accept being defeated by a little apprentice, so they could only attribute it to the use of an Innate Treasure and ambush as their excuses.

They also couldn’t believe that Sikong Jing had such powerful punching force.

Hearing this, Lei Zizhen was appeased and coldly said, ”Daring to use an Innate Treasure to ambush, this apprentice does not need to stay in the Holy Dragon Palace anymore.”

Having said that, he held Tao Yue and strode towards the Task Hall.

At this time, Sikong Jing naturally did not know what had happened outside.

Upon seeing Yu Yan, he said, ”Senior Sister Yu, I’ve gotten some more tokens from Xingluo Palace to exchange for points.”

Yu Yan shuddered at the words, her reaction was similar to Xu He’s and the others, something about it?

But at that moment, Xu He and Ge Rong rushed in with panic-stricken expressions.

They grabbed Sikong Jing and said, ”Junior Brother Sikong, you must run no matter what this time. Lei Zizhen, the Chief Inner Palace Student from Thunder Dragon Mountain, has come. He wants to avenge Tao Yue.”

Upon hearing this, Sikong Jing’s eyebrows slightly raised. It really was a case of fighting the small ones and having the big ones show up next—there was always someone bigger to face next.

It was never-ending.

Yu Yan was also stunned for a moment before quickly asking what had just happened.

When she heard that Sikong Jing had actually blasted Tao Yue away, she was completely flustered. He was just a Spirit Martial Root; why was he blasting people away for no reason? It was terrifying enough that he had dealt with Lu Fenglan last time, and now he had hit an Inner Palace Student.

”Lei Zizhen! Now we’re in trouble. Hurry up and go out the back door to find Master Wen Hu. I’ll handle him,” Yu Yan clearly knew what kind of person Lei Zizhen was and without hesitation urged Sikong Jing to run.

But it was already too late as a cold voice sounded from outside, ”Junior Sister Yu, you think you can handle me?”

As the words fell, Lei Zizhen appeared with the air of a thunderstorm, still holding Tao Yue in his arms.

He stared at Yu Yan with a piercing gaze and continuously sneered, ”You think, just because you miraculously became one of the three Great Deacons of the Task Hall, you can compare yourself to me? You’re not worthy!”

Lei Zizhen was one of the three Great Deacons of the Task Hall, and so was Yu Yan.

However, compared to him, Yu Yan temporarily struggled to command respect.

She was merely a three-winged Inner Palace Student, and no one knew how she had climbed up the ranks.

But Lei Zizhen was different; he was the Chief Inner Palace Disciple from Thunder Dragon Mountain, and his father was the Dean of Thunder Dragon Mountain. He had been a deacon in the Task Hall for two whole years.

Whether it was background, strength, or status, he was much higher than Yu Yan.

Even teachers would have to act respectfully when they saw him.

Seeing that Sikong Jing couldn’t escape, Yu Yan could only take a deep breath and said, ”Brother Lei, this matter started because of Tao Yue...”

Before she could finish, Lei Zizhen interrupted her forcefully, ”I don’t care who started it, I only know that a student from my Thunder Dragon Mountain was ambushed, and that someone as insignificant as a little apprentice must pay the price.”

His words were extremely domineering, completely disregarding the reasons behind the actions, but he also had the qualifications to be domineering.

Yu Yan’s face immediately turned ugly.

She very much wanted to mention that Sikong Jing was a person valued by Vice Palace Master Qin Heng, but she hesitated, unsure if she should reveal it, since the matter was supposed to be kept secret.

In the end, Yu Yan again said, ”Brother Lei, please, give me some face.”

”Hahaha...”

A terrifying laugh roared from Lei Zizhen’s mouth as he pointed at Yu Yan and said, ”You think you’re qualified to talk to me about face?”

The laughter seemed to thunder forth, causing everyone in the Task Hall, whether they were apprentices or on-duty students, to turn pale, and even a teacher who was originally in the Task Hall did not hesitate to flash away.

He was just a low-rank teacher without a background; he didn’t want to get involved in this matter, especially because Lei Zizhen had too powerful a background.

Yu Yan’s expression darkened, but her eyes were full of anxiety, unsure of what to do.

Suddenly, Sikong Jing’s indifferent voice rang out, ”You say, I ambushed?”

Before Lei Zizhen could respond, Tao Huai burst out first, ”If you didn’t ambush, if you didn’t use an Innate Treasure, you couldn’t have defeated my sister—it’s impossible.”

But Sikong Jing just sneered coldly, pointing to Tao Yue and said, ”In that fight at the Combat Hall, I gave you a chance.”

As soon as the words were spoken, people around looked at each other—is he really not an ambusher?

”Ridiculous, who gave a little apprentice like you the face to challenge an Inner Palace Student?”

”Now, you have two choices.”

”Kneel down, break your own meridians and leave the Holy Dragon Palace, or let me force you to kneel, and then have Tao Yue personally cripple you?”

Unfortunately, Lei Zizhen had no intention of giving Sikong Jing any chance to challenge him, and even less so to let him go to the Combat Hall.

It was pure suppression; it was sheer madness.
