Chapter 213: Chapter 106: Naming Ineptitude

In the present times where various gene technologies are rampant, it’s rare to see pure black hair and black eyes. But judging from the baby’s fetal hair and slightly exposed eyes, it seems he has inherited his mother’s hair and eye color, pure black.

Gu Ningxuan has never seen such a weak newborn child up close since he was young. The child is so fragile that he hesitates to breathe heavily for fear of disturbing him. Gu Ningxuan stared blankly at the child, a warm sensation flowing through his heart.

Is this the birth and wonder of new life? Gu Ningxuan’s hands have been stained with the blood of many lives, but he has never used them to receive a newborn life; so tender and small, yet more vibrant than anyone, bringing a kind of indescribable emotion.

Looking at the child, he felt as if something in his heart quietly shattered and began to sprout. He gently clasped the small hand of the little one, forming a stark contrast with his wide palm and the tiny hand, ”This child is really beautiful.”

When the second bun, who seemed to prefer causing a fuss, lay beside his brother, the elder brother bun lazily yawned, squinted his eyes, and fell into a deep sleep, the turbulent Mind Storm around him gradually subsiding. However, the younger brother was quite boisterous, full of energy, occasionally letting out a few cries, and his little feet kicking with great strength.

Children who climb out from the eggshell are usually full-term, with a few special ones looking like five or six-month-old infants, very healthy and strong. Su Mo activated the scanning mode to check the two little ones, and the data obtained was very satisfactory.

”Changxi, record the birth time, and once the children are slightly older, go register their household.” Su Jiameng watched the two buns sleeping side by side, feeling a little unreal, as if all this was within her dream. She reached out to touch the dense fetal hair of one of the buns, feeling slightly more at ease, ”But... the elder one seems really uninterested in moving...”

”Each child naturally becomes tired after the exertion from breaking the shell; this is common for each child.” Changxi, busy recording data on the side, quickly created a decent data file, ”The second young master is an exception...”

Compared to the normalcy of the elder master, the second master was concerning, overly lively and active. Changxi swallowed these words and went to the second-floor nursery to prepare all previously arranged items to move the two little ones.

Until both buns were carried away, Gu Ningxuan and Su Jiameng remained stunned in place. One looked at the finger that was previously held by the little one with some loss, while the other, somewhat dazed, thought, ”These two children... look so similar to those in my dream.”

If the brows and eyes were slightly more opened, they would look exactly like those in the dream. Recalling the two dreams at that time, Su Jiameng felt dazed, with a hint of hidden worry in her heart, ”Why must it be two boys? Having a daughter too would be nice...”

This would diverge from her dream, and she wouldn’t suddenly recall the content of that nightmare.

Taking a deep breath, Su Jiameng pushed these unsettling thoughts down, trying to restrain herself from thinking about them further. Coming to her senses, she noticed Gu Ningxuan’s little room had been made chaotic by the Mind Storm of the two buns, apologizing and promising to have Changxi clean it up.

Gu Ningxuan shook his head; witnessing the birth of two children firsthand made the room’s disarray seem insignificant.

As if remembering something, he turned to Su Jiameng, ”Have you prepared names for the two children? According to Alliance law, newborns must be registered within three days of birth, otherwise, delaying would be quite troublesome.”

Su Jiameng was taken aback; recently, she was preoccupied with the escapee situation and the birth of the two buns, completely forgetting about names. Being lousy at naming, she couldn’t come up with good names; she’ll seek help online tonight.

She said awkwardly, ”I haven’t prepared this yet, I’ll discuss it with Changxi and them later, if not, I’ll solicit names online...”

Gu Ningxuan twitched the corner of his mouth, feeling Su Jiameng was too careless. But considering she was only a sixteen-year-old young mom, he couldn’t criticize her much. With a turn of his eyes, he blurted out, ”What is the father’s surname? This would make naming easier.”

Su Jiameng rolled her eyes, with an expression saying ”How do I know who that man is,” ”Both children will take my surname!”
