Chapter 212: Chapter 105: They’re Being Born, They’re Being Born (Part 1)

Gu Ningxuan thought of that girl he had never even met, and felt a heavy heart. At that time, he naively wanted to take all the blame and marry her when she came of age, but things were not as simple as he imagined, eventually spiraling out of control. He was expelled from Xilena and even kicked out of the Gu Family, but he had no complaints, except he couldn’t come to terms with the death of that innocent girl.

Opening his eyes, Gu Ningxuan wanted to sit up and wash up, but halfway up, he suddenly stopped... He, he seemed to feel his pants become slightly wet and sticky... Could it be that? His cheeks flushed a bit. After all, he was an adult and not unfamiliar with these things. But the problem was he hadn’t had any amorous dreams before...

However, when his gaze fell there, the always stoic face finally cracked a little, and his spine stiffened, not daring to move.

The blue egg was directly squatting on his abdomen, slightly rolling down because of his attempt to sit up. A slit about ten centimeters long appeared on the eggshell, and a clear liquid resembling egg white flowed out through the gap, accompanied by a faint cracking sound of the eggshell breaking.

This, this is... what kind of scene? Gu Ningxuan was so frightened that his face turned ashen. Could it be that he accidentally bumped into the egg while sleeping, causing it to fall to the ground and crack open? If that were truly the case, wouldn’t any problems with the child be his fault?

His fingertips seemed to touch that sticky liquid too, carrying slight warmth. As his gaze turned, he saw another egg nestled beside him, its shell also showing a crack, though not as large as the previous one, only seven or eight centimeters long.

Gu Ningxuan had witnessed major events, had been caught by his father and sent to the Military Department for rigorous training, and had been thrown onto a planet infested with Alien Beasts to fend for himself. He could remain calm in the face of life and death, but upon seeing this bizarre scene, his face was ashen beyond pale, large beads of sweat continually forming on his forehead, so tense it seemed he could faint at any moment.

He could clearly hear the sound of the egg cracking beside his ears, could see the eggshell breaking, and egg-white-like liquid flowing out, yet his throat seemed blocked by something, preventing him from making any sound. He could only stare stiffly, not daring to move, waiting for time to pass. After about ten minutes, another crack appeared on the eggshell, and the cracking pace quickened.

Then... he watched as a piece of eggshell the size of a baby’s palm fell off, allowing him a clear view into the egg’s interior scene.

A small, chubby baby curled its limbs, completely enveloped in a semi-transparent membrane that resembled flesh, with small, tightly closed eyes, faintly visible... This child... Gu Ningxuan suddenly recalled something Su Jiameng said before, that her child was due to be born soon... Could it be that this was the hatching? What should he do...

”Help... help...” Gu Ningxuan struggled to speak, but his voice was as light as a mosquito’s buzz, and he lived in a basement; who could hear his voice? Thinking it over, he concentrated his spiritual power and sent it toward Su Jiameng’s room...

Unquestionably, this mental force laden with urgency was blocked by Su Jiameng. She furrowed her brows slightly, not knowing what had possessed this employee to attack her. She got up to find Gu Ningxuan in the basement only to see a rather bizarre scene...

That expression of ”I’m about to give birth, hurry up and deliver” was too much to bear. Su Jiameng felt awkward for a moment before seeing her own two eggs with egg white flowing everywhere, a terrifying scene, which made her legs almost give way. ”You, you stay still... I’ll go prepare...”

Afraid that if Gu Ningxuan moved, the babies would roll down, Su Jiameng nervously contacted Su Mo and Changxi to come help, with one preparing hot water and another preparing baby clothes, and most importantly, they needed sterile scissors ready to cut the amniotic sac.

”I, I know... hurry up...” Gu Ningxuan’s face turned even more ashen, looking as if he were made of white paper, he took deep breaths to calm his internal tension. ”I’m afraid they can’t hold on, please hurry...”

Actually, compared to the two leisurely hatching eggs, Gu Ningxuan’s condition was truly worrisome, as if he could faint from exhaustion at any moment with his ashen face. Was delivering a baby something to get so nervous about?

He’s a grown man, yet not calm at all! Under the dual pressure of Su Jiameng’s and Gu Ningxuan’s gazes, Guan Changxi rolled his eyes, moving the two eggs from the sleeping cushion to a warm, clean, and safe place, waiting for the eggshells to crack to a certain extent...

”Why is it so slow, they haven’t come out yet?” Finally, a thread of blood returned to Gu Ningxuan’s face. Watching the slow cracking of the eggshells and the egg white flowing everywhere, he hesitantly asked, ”Can’t we help them peel off the shells?”

Then student Gu Ningxuan received rolling eyes from both Changxi and Su Jiameng. He obediently shut his mouth. Although he didn’t get an answer, he realized he had asked a quite foolish question and could only patiently wait.

The four of them surrounded the two eggs for half an hour before the shells finally broke completely. Changxi skillfully cut open the amniotic sac, gently patting the first bun’s bottom, and was immediately assaulted by a sharp magical sound. The loud and vigorous cries echoed through the entire house as Su Mo took the child, cleaning the impurities off him.

About ten minutes later, the second bun hatched, crying as loudly as his brother, even kicking his little legs. Whoever held him, he cried to their face! What gave Su Jiameng a headache was that these two buns not only cried but also unleashed telekinesis, leaving Gu Ningxuan’s room in disarray.

While Changxi and the others were busy delivering the second bun, Gu Ningxuan dumbfoundedly gazed at the first small child born. The child’s tiny hand gently held his forefinger, little mouth sipping, and his long lashes fluttering slightly, then opening a small slit, meeting Gu Ningxuan’s eyes... (To be continued.
