Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 1746: Chapter 323: None of Us Will Accompany You!

Ellie, still airborne, glanced down with confusion.

Then she hesitantly recalled that the Undead Tribe in this area wasn’t the Eden Alliance they were associated with.

Moreover, Gaia had recently led an ambush on the headquarters of these Undead Tribe below.

Of course, she didn’t understand that her perpetual gray luck... If she had summoned neutral elemental creatures this time, perhaps the reactions of the Undead Tribe wouldn’t be as intense.

But for the Evil Orcs, even if the Undead Tribe below were from Eden, they would still charge directly upwards without hesitation.

This has nothing to do with any prior cooperation.

Anyone who sees a name glowing red-black and doesn’t act must just be idle.

Fortunately, the Undead Tribe always had a habit of letting NPCs wear down the boss’s health first; otherwise, those Evil Orcs at the forefront, who appear to be over level 15, wouldn’t have so easily charged up the Rainbow Bridge.

So it’s said, her luck always carries a strange negative attribute.

Hill, seeing this, can’t help but wonder if she picked up something during reincarnation... it feels like she got a smile from Tymora while catching a couple of glances from Benshasha.

At the forefront, the ugly orc clad in a bulky, crude, black full armor, wielding a massive spear, and wearing a large eyepatch over one eye made Hill twitch subconsciously.

Only priests of Gewoosh would dig out their left eye.

Although the leadership of the orcs is absolute, the priests strive to lead the family while completing Gewoosh’s brutal tasks. Due to the Orcish Pantheon’s secretive rebellious seduction and... Gewoosh’s own encouragement of bloody slaughter, not many priests achieve this.

Typically, in such large orc tribes, it’s actually a collaborative and oppositional relationship between the clan leader and the priests.

This is mainly because sometimes, if the priest’s intelligence is too high, they will restrain themselves during desperate times.

Gewoosh never listens to explanations; he only accepts those madmen who charge headlong into the enemy.

This causes much agony for the priests, because even the most capable among them tend to appoint another more combat-capable individual as the leader... the kind of person who wouldn’t hesitate to charge through knives and fire.

But because of this, the orcs who can combine the roles of priest and leader are all Gewoosh’s most devout and fanatical followers, and they participate in hell’s Shura Fields against the Goblin Chief God in the eternal battle, yet can return to the mortal realm as the strongest... Only successful tribes that survive and win gain special permission to be sent back to their original tribe.

Yet on the Rainbow Bridge, facing the madly charging Evil Orcs, Asmodier only let out a chuckle in his throat: ”Seriously?”

Hill couldn’t help but lean towards the back of her chair.

It seems the failure in Toril wasn’t insignificant for Gewoosh... At least, as a guest of Hell, he’s now in a fully state of not wanting to offend the Lord of Hell.

Like Gewoosh and Magnubiyeh choosing to reside in Hell merely, typically, they show the utmost respect by listening seriously when face-to-face with the Lord of Hell.

Generally, they’re akin to tenants with eternal lease rights; even if the landlord wants to evict them, it’s not so easy.

They wouldn’t seek ambitions in Hell, so that’s why Asmodier let Tiamat take over when manpower was urgently needed... though he quickly regretted it.

Typically, as a summoned monster race, orcs wouldn’t care about the enemy opposite, or they wouldn’t accept such a summons otherwise.

Yet Asmodier wouldn’t display such ’are you brainless’ behavior.

This only proves that, in his mind, Evil Orcs absolutely lack the nerve to reach out to him.

Gewoosh appears to be suffering considerably from the complete failure of the persona of Talos, possibly already in slumber.

Hill blinked.

Right, if according to the original timeline, although Gewoosh also lost the persona of Talos due to exposure, it was Marla and Ambori who paid the price. He returned to Hell with a glorious victory...having taken more than one life of the Elf Deity System’s deities in his triumphant return to Hell.

The gains far outweighed the losses.

As an evil god of Hell, how could he possibly care about the lives of those two abyss-dwellers, maybe even earning the admiration of the Dukes of Demons!

Being able to demand the ultimate price from devils for their lives and then taking all the rewards, that’s simply the greatest joy for demons.

But reality is wholly different.

He has lost the Talos he molded with much effort and Divine Power; even his Divine Kingdom was smashed by the Father of Elves, and he couldn’t even recover after returning to true form, so... Gewoosh truly suffered heavy damage this time.

To the Chief Orc God, he indeed has always enjoyed endless battles, but it absolutely does not mean he’s willing to take risks with rebellious underlings to stir trouble for others.

So generally, during times requiring calm, he would sleep for a while first, temporarily handing over the Orcish Pantheon to his two most loyal subordinates.

Although for a short time, since he worries other orc deities succeed in revolt, it always allows him to regain some sanity, preventing another bout of madness from consuming his orc numbers to a dreadful number again.

That’s something he has historically done.

Otherwise, the number of orcs in Toril wouldn’t be so low.

Remember, even during the elves’ peak strength, orcs were never as weakened as they are now.

The reason why humans on Toril have come this far is entirely because those stronger beings and God systems have dug their own graves, no exceptions at all.

Of course, even if he is asleep, Gewoosh would still demand the Beastmen offer enough blood and death before that... this is probably why this Beastman tribe responded to Ellie without hesitation.

They don’t care who their opponent is.

But Beastmen never keep their promises... It’s absolutely impossible to summon them and expect to send them away before the time is up.

No matter what Ellie agreed with them in advance, the Beastmen will certainly kill for seven days.

As for the reason for summoning them, if they can win, they will fight; if not, they might just handle it a bit... No creature promises to defeat their enemies when responding to a summons.

Especially not the Beastmen.

Unfortunately, they don’t have the luck for that.

With the Undead Tribe present, it’s estimated that only the first five powerful warriors of 15th level or higher among the Beastmen might return to their original world alive.

Of course, that is if Ellie dies quickly.

If the Summoner dies, the summoned creatures can choose to return home before their time is up.

They usually do return since it means the enemy is quite strong.

But Beastmen might not necessarily do that.

If they flee without fighting, their fate might be worse than death.

This is a battlefield watched by Coron; Gewoosh would definitely find their departure disgraceful... although he is asleep, his deputy would surely warn this tribe.

Otherwise, the responsibility would be his, and even the dumbest Beastman God wouldn’t be that foolish.

Knowing the Beastmen aren’t doing well, Hill felt somewhat relieved about his long-standing grudge against Gewoosh’s side today.

Hill shifted in his chair, summoning the Lily of the Valley that was enjoying the evening breeze on the railing to his side, gently asking the ’Snow Cloud Peak’ opposite: ”Can Ellie’s life be saved before all the Beastmen die?”

”What?” ’Snow Cloud Peak’ hesitated for a few seconds before asking, ”Does she have any... use... for Hill?”

From that stammering tone, Hill seemed to hear that Undead Tribe commander’s thoughts rapidly sliding away, spiraling into absurdity.

So he quickly cut off that wild imagination that was likely already drifting back into the Milky Way: ”As long as she doesn’t die, these Beastmen won’t suddenly disappear.

She used soul summoning, which can last for 7 days.

If you plan to make the Beastmen disappear quickly, then just ignore me.”

Before cutting the connection, Hill couldn’t help but say: ”You fail to understand what you should, think too much about what you shouldn’t, if you don’t have the ability, then be honest!”

-----------------

’Snow Cloud Peak’ stared blankly at the Lily of the Valley that cut off the connection... that vine even tapped his head twice before leaving, seemingly urging him to clear out the water in his brain.

Then he turned and looked around at the hall filled with various clan leaders... the battlefield was in the desert, they couldn’t reach there no matter what, so they all gathered here to watch the excitement... their expressions were quite interesting.

”So, why am I being scolded?” ’Snow Cloud Peak’ blinked in confusion, ”It’s his unclear words that led to my overthinking, isn’t it?

Besides, what qualifications does Little Bear have to criticize me?

Even if I’m bad at this, can I be worse than him?

Hmm?

Where’s Hill’s Biography?

Has the Toril version been added?”

”Do you think Sister Lily doesn’t exist?” ’Perfect Bald’ sighed, speaking earnestly, ”If you want to avoid getting smacked again, speak less nonsense.

With that one sentence just now, how much unpleasantness you conveyed, don’t you have a clue?”

’Snow Cloud Peak’ slumped on the sofa, murmuring: ”He couldn’t tell before.

Little Bear has grown up, not as fun anymore~”

”If you’re courting death, please do it on your own.” ’Susu’ sitting behind him couldn’t help but slap his back forcefully, ”Do you realize, even if Hill is kind enough not to drag down innocents, we as part of the Magic Cult would also have to suffer because of you!

Whether you want to play with a big storm or invade the Ice Sea, remember, no one in the Magic Cult wants to accompany you, no one!”

Half of the people in the hall looked at her in surprise, while the other half cautiously eyed her.

’Susu’ glared around with a fierce look, clearly meaning: I admit I like him, but that doesn’t mean when he wants to be a dog, I don’t want to be human!
