Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 1728: Chapter 305: Ellie Vanishes

”Teraxil’s bear

Has a face that loves to smile

Its eyes aren’t complicated

Like a child never grown

It just loves to wander~

I’ve searched the ends of the earth and cannot find him

I’m so missing him~”

A tone-deaf, impure song, filled with anguish and pity.

However, upon hearing it, Hill could only feel his temples about to explode.

The Undead Tribe surely knows he’s in the Heavenly Realm, they can hear anytime!

What on earth are they up to?

Hill didn’t think there was anything wrong with his sudden departure!

He didn’t take away the avatars of Lily of the Valley and the others, Cain Valley’s safety could still be assured.

So why are they acting crazy?

List gently pointed beside him: ”Sir, I think, the answer is there.”

Once the giant screen opened, he heard the heart-stopping song, Hill hardly paid attention to the screen.

So, following List’s pointed direction, he suddenly found himself in silence.

Was that the fortress of the Last-Era Clan?

What was the banner hanging above?

’Ambori Defense Battle Will Definitely Win’?

The two vertical banners flying in the wind below read:

’Thankful for Proud Sky Alliance’s passionate assistance’

’Last-Era and Proud Sky Alliance, Forever Hand in Hand’

What is this?

Hmm? Hmm...

The Lily of the Valley hanging on Hill’s hair shifted, Windmill Jasmine on the balcony also turned their flowers towards Hill’s direction, not to mention the dark green vines climbing the Magic Tower’s outer walls, they were already poised for action... After all, the cliff walls of Cain Valley, outside castle fortresses, are basically their children.

They certainly knew long ago what was happening, but the smart magic plants didn’t plan to speak first... all waiting for Hill to find out himself!

However, Hill just pressed his lips and quietly lay back on his sofa... he had an idea of the song’s creator, and he didn’t plan to seek revenge.

The mood of that young master now doesn’t need Hill’s intervention, what if after he does intervene, the person who got knocked silly suddenly realizes his mistakes?

Better let him continue to suffer!

Anyway, compared to the Hero Song, this one is still rather elegant?

Hill thought since he’s not staying there himself, let everything drift away with the wind for now~

There’s always a chance in the future, huh~ The Little Fairy’s meticulous love, Lansendel’s sincere care, probably the ”young master” enjoyed too little of it~

Lily of the Valley, Windmill Jasmine, and Murderous Vine sensed Hill’s indifference, though they were a bit surprised their little bear was uncharacteristically generous once, they also quietly withdrew their stance... after all, they get to fight, if not the Undead Tribe, they can fight the Moon Clan!

-----------------

’Snow Cloud Peak’ watched as the vine on the Command Tower’s outer wall slowly reverted to its original form, cautiously exhaled a sigh of relief.

Thankfully, Hill was still that reasonable little bear, understanding just how much seeing that banner similar to New Year’s couplets would stimulate the ”young master”.

But what could he do?

’Lu Huayu’ at this moment can’t even manage that passionate outburst from the Last-Era’s big boss... ’young master’ secretly wanted to press people down, naturally, he has to endure their eager retaliation.

After seeing that couplet, Road Eunuch rushed into the sea, closely following Ambori.

’Snow Cloud Peak’ saw his performance and understood, this had already turned into fighting spirit between the big young masters, no one’s persuasion would work... unless their dear parents personally come to stop it.

But whose boss would take time from their daily countless affairs to intervene in this game rivalry?

They probably were quite thankful these two good kids left everything to be settled in the game!

So ’Snow Cloud Peak’ could only look at the sprawling vines with a heart of luck... thankful their little bear is an understanding soul.

Really didn’t plan to escalate this matter to the entire Proud Sky Alliance.

As for what kind of retaliation the ’Young Master’ will encounter in the future, that’s none of his concern.

Dying a few more times might be good, it could clear out the Ambori-branded bathwater from the First Young Master’s head.

-----------------

Triton truly didn’t betray the trust the Undead Tribe placed in him. On the third day after Hill left, he swiftly tore up the recent tacit agreement and re-initiated war mode... Of course, there’s another reason: Ismael and Princess Scaret’s son actually didn’t inherit a trace of the Sea God’s blood!

Everything the Scaret Royal Family preemptively planned turned into a bubble when Ismael, quick of sight and swift of hand, took the child away.

For the Scaret Royal Family, which had long relied on Triton’s powerful bloodline inheritance to engorge any outsider into their own, no previous failure compares to this discovery that their proud bloodline could also fail, causing them deep suffering and despair.

The Scaret Royal Family dared to give Great Sage Ismael this glimmer of hope amidst many contracts... The child must inevitably be raised by the mother, unless this child carries none of Triton’s bloodline heritage... Naturally, because they were extremely confident, not to mention Triton was still keeping an eye on this!

Such a one in a million chance, even with Ismael’s luck, was impossible to achieve!

Bear in mind, when Princess Scaret gave birth, she was squatting in that shell house... Think about it~ This helped her break through Ismael’s heavy protective measures with life force!

However, to the amazement of all the Scaret people including Triton, the million-to-one chance actually happened to them!

Great Sage Ismael, almost at the moment of confirming their child’s purity of Sea God bloodline was 0, immediately dragged other mages from Danboro, tossed an expensive Thief’s Stone, and fled.

Because of excessive confidence, Triton didn’t seal off the sea region and could only choose helpless fury... His rage directly poured into Cain Valley where he previously had to restrain himself.

After all, as long as Ismael stays away from the sea, he is powerless.

And nearby, there’s only Ambori.

Triton thought Ambori, known as Toril’s most infamous foolish shrew, was not a match for him.

It was only because Aesces’s suppression prevented him from dealing with two equally powerful forces simultaneously... Now, the most troublesome one has run off for a useless broken pot, what’s there to fear with Ambori left?

Since Aesces still abides by his rules, there’s no way Ambori gets exclusive privileges.

Given that the existence of the same earth attribute as Aesces cannot act beyond limits, how can Ambori, who barely gets Aesces’s support, achieve anything?

Triton felt this time, he could act.

As for previous commitments to Aesces... Willingness to follow the rules was the Earth Lord’s own choice. Greek Gods have always been whimsical, doing whatever they want; ”honesty” is not in their vocabulary.

Moreover, in general, those who sign peace agreements with them already understand it’s just a temporary ceasefire notice.

Triton didn’t feel he had a problem, and the Moon Clan, engaging in tacit warfare over resource islands with the Undead Tribe, wasn’t shocked by the Main God’s sudden change — smoothly transitioning into a murderous mode.

Though ’Snow Cloud Peak’ did remind all Undead Tribe members, including those from Eden, that recent warfare might see a tremendous turn.

But those diligently mining daily, how could they heed such trivialities? Even death, what does it matter?

Holding Basia’s main city battlefield management rights and implicitly acknowledging Ivan as the main commander of this Aesces war, Eden, recently mocked continuously for days by the Proud Sky Alliance after being wiped out, stated: Ivan didn’t receive the system-issued war notice, Proud Sky Alliance shouldn’t think winning once or twice means everyone has to listen to their nonsense.

To continue commanding all Undead Tribe members, come and seize back Basia City!

The Eden folks know that, possessing their own main city and having strong ties with Basia’s Stelter Family, Proud Sky Alliance cannot let the flames of war reach Basia.

After all, ’Snow Cloud Peak’ should know Eden never holds wars without hostages.

If Proud Sky Alliance really dares come, they dare ensure the entire city of humans perishes with them... Of course, unintentional, but collateral damage is inevitable.

During intense battles, who cares if an ordinary person runs by?

Therefore, although the Moon Clan’s primary battle target was Cain Valley, considering morale and such... Habituated to tacit battles, many in the Moon Clan are not accustomed to decisive slaughter... thus decided instead to target former mining comrades and recently devastated by Proud Sky Alliance Basia Undead Tribe first.

Proud Sky Alliance, fully armed and waiting for days, was astonished to find Basia City, suddenly ablaze.

In the dead of night, fiery flames reddened the sky, inciting Lind, who recently stayed obediently in the castle, to wildly rush to the Command Tower in Gourd Mouth.

”Lind.” ’Snow Cloud Peak’ saw the panting Young Baron and immediately spoke, ”Thunder and another family have already taken two Great Knight Corps to Basia.

Ditte shouldn’t encounter trouble that easily, don’t worry too much.”

Lind tightly gripped the door frame, ”Why Basia?”

”They used to fear Ellie.” ’Snow Cloud Peak’ glanced at him, ”Now, Ellie... Apparently, was crushed in the recent battle.”

”Hmm?” Lind, surprised, released his grip, ”But Ellie’s just like you guys with an Elemental Body!

If her soul hasn’t been annihilated directly, she won’t die!

Wasn’t it Gaia’s avatar that died here the other day?

The Princess of Danboro and that disgusting Sea Monster have nothing to do with Ellie, they’re not Gaia’s true form.”

”But Ellie really hasn’t appeared these past few days!” ’Susu’ tilted their head, ”The Moon Clan killed quite a few Sea Monsters over at Basia City, and she had no reaction.”
