Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Capítulo 1586: Chapter 164: The Chaotic God System of Greece

Adrian is a person who understands clearly.

From the beginning, he didn’t understand why his luck would send him into Aesces, a world filled with nothing but melodramatic stories, to finally realizing the truth.

No wonder he pays so much attention to the Stelter Family… this family always reminds him of the home he once had.

Because there’s always some unwillingness in his heart.

It’s probably the common issue for kids who once lived happily; they tend to dwell on uncomfortable past experiences and wonder why someone could dislike them.

Adrian indeed doesn’t hold resentment towards that phase of his life, but in the middle of the night when dreams return, it’s possible to wonder why, fantasize the ‘what if.’

If his parents were a bit more normal, treated him a bit better, what would he be like?

The conclusion of Lind and Ellie instantly cleared his mind.

According to the entangled fate of Teraxil Mage, if he had parents like Count Stelter, the family debt would probably never be repaid, and the outcome might be even worse than Adrian’s.

It’s better to be thoroughly bad, so that the good people can endure.

He won’t ponder the ‘why’ anymore!

Teraxil indeed gave him the most perfect family; otherwise, with his personality, even if he could escape in the end, he’d suffer a lot.

Whether it’s love or not, it’s just like that; warmth mixed with broken glass is even harder to accept.

Comparing it to the love he once had with his family, it’s all a kind of humiliation.

So, when William discovered the Undead Tribe or rather, the Proud Sky Alliance group, had too many fantasies about his territory, even planning to build a hive in this valley… it was a stellar hive!

Don’t even mention the problem of how to navigate those labyrinth-like passages; the aesthetic of the peak and madman are indistinguishable, okay?

Normal people can’t accept that kind of structure built on their territory, let alone live peacefully inside it.

The Undead Tribe probably thinks they won’t stay long in Aesces anyway, so they don’t care about temporary beauty, only wanting novelty.

But William can’t let a normal person suffer to such a degree… Lind is not deserving of such misery, right? The architecture of the Undead Tribe, even if the child wants to demolish it later, would be quite difficult.

Everyone else learned well, but ended up utterly twisted due to property issues… even Shaer wouldn’t use such a method to torture people.

He immediately conveniently contacted Adrian through Aesces, hoping he’d do a small favor, not letting the Undead Tribe overdo it.

Adrian agreed very readily; William wasn’t stingy with money.

His current mood, eh hey~ feels like suddenly tearing off the veil that covered his face, and finally seeing a much clearer vision.

People, after all, only become clear-headed after seeing the bloody reality.

He had lived too happily, which made him think of so much miscellaneous stuff, truly seeking boredom.

Adrian even suspects whether some elder in his family thought this child needed a bit of shock education… the World Tree Pantheon has a peculiar way of indulging children, letting them mess about themselves until they understand, naturally knowing what can be touched, what cannot.

Encountering trouble afterward, how it should be resolved… the consequences of not making decisive decisions again will be like.

Facing incomprehensible matters, let your child repeatedly see various results, if it still doesn’t work, simply let them experience it themselves; after all, their children are resilient, unlikely to die easily.

Hmm… how the Earth Bear treats its children, the World Tree seems no different.

But making mistakes yourself is fine, bullying by outsiders is not.

Adrian very much suspects that at this moment, he is being observed, especially since Aesces, though stupid, still belongs to the Earth Deity System, so its entanglement with the World Tree can be considered… well… a cousin?

So Adrian diligently repaired the entire valley, even opening up the main shafts of several mineral veins… he definitely wouldn’t help dig them out.

Got to leave some work for the Undead Tribe.

As for the city, Adrian didn’t choose to build in the center of the valley but rather at the entrance, creating a small-mouthed gourd.

The entry walls are built wide and sturdy.

Even over the small river slowly flowing into the ocean, he built a rough castle wall, while robust stone pillars in the river below establish a grid-like dam wall.

The entrance is a standard defensive structure, perfectly suited to the Undead Tribe’s needs, with a shift change every 3 hours, and the barracks are divided clearly.

But inside, the large abdomen is surrounded by seven-story buildings forming grids… between each grid are wide roads, with two-and-a-half-story shops lining the roadside.

The middle space of the grid is very large, completely allowing them to freely unleash their fantasies, build however they want… but that’s their own business.

On the highest peak, leaning against the terrace railing, Hill looked down at the undead tribe that rushed into the small town, cheering and jubilant, while the round moon served as a backdrop, his clothes fluttering and his smile radiant.

The undead tribe looking up couldn’t see his expression, but they could see the fluttering hem of his garment in the moonlight and the golden long hair that was like a dance with snowflakes in the breeze.

“Our Little Bear almost got snatched away, it’s understandable, haha~”

“Does anyone think Hill has grown up to increasingly resemble that elf…”

“Do you want to become a bear biscuit?

Pressed by Little Bear himself?”

Even though Hill heard this, he wasn’t angry at all.

He squinted his eyes and smiled extra happily… At first, he didn’t think of it so thoroughly, he just planned to build them a standard little town like Aesces.

The kind that’s just rows of apartments, with no aesthetics apart from being orderly, maybe add a few avenue trees in the middle.

After all, Aesces wouldn’t dare to appear directly in front of him, preferring to waste divine power manifesting a paper that could directly gather William’s voice.

However, Hill’s hard work never goes unrewarded… Merely earning wages is considered a wasted effort for him.

While digging and excavating, Hill once again turned up some good stuff… This made him feel a bit exuberant, and he considered a bit more for the undead tribe who brought him benefits.

Hehe~

Hill glanced at what was evidently a mark left by a certain Goddess of the Sea, no, it should be said it was initially a Greek Goddess who emerged by devouring the Goddess of the Sea.

No wonder she sought out Triton directly.

A sane person, even Ambori, wouldn’t do such a foolish thing, randomly find a handsome guy, then lavish gifts, and ultimately offer their own life… The Goddess of the Hunt from Teraxil back then, fell into the trap precisely because of half a skull.

But she didn’t completely surrender and managed to leave behind some fallback.

Unfortunately, this goddess, Hill hasn’t seen her true name yet, but he knows why she’s casting such a wide net across the universe looking for people. After all, Greece’s infamously trapped previous Divine Kings and some rebellious Titans’ hell, collapsed when the Greek gods entered the stellar realm seeking their own homes.

Some Titans, although dead, still had the power to struggle… Naturally, they started to search for their path to resurrection.

In Greek mythology, there’s an indispensable figure, a go-between, named Uranus, whose successor as Divine Position was Cronus… Well, Uranus was outmaneuvered and died rather embarrassingly, ultimately, something used to create an heir ended up in the sea, transforming into the Love Goddess Aphrodite.

The goddess famed for being lascivious afterwards, whose beauty was incomparable, with poets describing it like the light flashing in daylight.

Then, when she was born, she was greeted by Hollay Goddess… the goddess of time and seasons, daughters of the Sun God and Moon God.

Hill turned his gaze southward; ‘Snow Cloud Peak’ must have suspected Aphrodite was there. She closely resembles the goddess and would never tolerate someone prettier than her, including her avatars, who must be the most dazzling beauties.

However, although similar, there were too many doubts.

Hill flipped over the shell in his hand… Aphrodite was born within a shell.

Among the Greek gods, especially in the Ocean God System, only Triton preferred using shells to create his children.

It’s likely that this scheming goddess never expected that Triton, who always opted to birth daughters with shells, chose a male heir in this world.

Thus, the avatar created to deceive the outside world could only continue reincarnating in other countries… The Scaret Royal Family, being descendants of deities, she only had one chance to enter among them.

But she had her ways.

First, condense the divinity of love and beauty into a prototype, waiting for the right moment to reincarnate into the Scaret Royal Family, she could rely on that strength to become an Aesces deity.

At that time, even the displeased Aesces regarding the Scaret people couldn’t stop her ascent to godhood; after all, she wasn’t truly a Triton descendant, her divine soul was filled with the faith and beliefs of Aesces’s native people.

Hill smiled slightly at the lotus leaf-like shell beside him.

It seemed to be brimming with peculiar lustful power, but Hill could sense an unusual earthly force beneath it.

So, Gaia or Rhea?

The lustful force is indeed misleading, fortunately, Hill is entirely unaffected… This power should genuinely come from Aphrodite.

If it’s Uranus, the fellow seeking resurrection will face difficulty, needing to repair the fragmented divine soul piece by piece, likely taking millions of years… Moreover, once a part of his soul becomes a deity itself, he struggles to restore his original self.

Aphrodite, yes, as a crucial part of his body, could easily attract fragments of his divine soul.

And Cronus as well, if he can’t revive himself, he won’t let Uranus resurrect… Aphrodite transforming from Goddess of Love and Beauty to Goddess of Lust, couldn’t be done without his machinations.
