Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 1584: Chapter 162: What Can Danborone Do?

The light form that Ellie turned into earlier disappeared over the sea didn’t hold on.

Along the shore, amidst several explosions of massive sea beasts, she gathered herself to form a three-meter-tall body again...but due to some special reason, she wasted most of her flesh to create a towering and graceful giant body.

Under the bomb attacks by Scaret, the number of giant sea beasts along the long dyke couldn’t surpass the rate at which the Undead Tribe was logging in...when the Scattered Ones realized the dyke and the command Cloud Platform were two separate worlds, they naturally chose to join the battle.

Military exploits equal money! Equipment is king.

No one cares who fights for supremacy.

If she were in her peak state, and pulled herself up to the level of ability allowed by the World Rules, Ellie might have been able to spar a little with Lily of the Valley, who was eager to vent her anger.

However, she was not, and the outcome naturally became obvious.

If it weren’t for Lily of the Valley wanting to inject more toxin into her, Ellie wouldn’t have lasted 10 minutes.

Of course, perhaps Lady Lily of the Valley wanted to help Hill out a bit, hence deliberately reduced the lethality and increased the neurotoxin... the kind that amplifies pain sensations.

As a result, not only did the giant formed by Ellie fail to rescue the high-level Swordsman, she herself screamed and writhed on the ground for an hour before completely dissipating.

The battle against the Undead Tribe ended relatively quickly.

Even though they knew a red-named player like themselves would not only lose levels but might also drop some equipment upon logging off after a battle, ’Ji Lanyuan’ didn’t stand as strongly as her words boasted.

And ’White Sail Dian Dian’ is even less worth mentioning. She left in a devastated cry, leaving ’Tanya’ and them to face the embarrassing situation of being watched.

The Proud Sky Alliance, under the spiritual guidance of ’Snow Cloud Peak’, continuously kicked out some family members and communicated with friendly families... they were going to break with Basia City, of course not without a word.

Though they had long known the plans of the Undead Tribe to split in half, with the most powerful part even looking to leave entirely, before Lind’s title certification officially appeared, Ditte remained silent.

He could understand and support some of Count Stelter’s actions, but he wouldn’t put Lind in a difficult position with matters having reached today’s situation.

He merely accelerated the speed of transforming the cliffs left by Great Sage Belfran, even took the opportunity to invite Lind’s teacher to the cliffside to help change the maze and living environment.

Naturally, Lind followed along.

The young master didn’t want to expose himself either. He had some sense of self-control. If Ditte’s inheritance document arrived first, he wasn’t sure if he could resist the taunts.

Especially from those who once flattered him.

Moreover, he needed to test whether his past followers were willing to follow him when Count Stelter clearly abandoned him.

Therefore, even under the chilling wind and bitter rain, living on a tent on the cliff, he persisted.

Though Ellie clearly wanted it too, the internal strife of the Undead Tribe blocked her path...’Snow Cloud Peak’ merely intended to leave, but he had to first reprimand Basia City’s unwelcome intervention, by the way, get the Danboro Royal Family to compensate for their losses.

After all, that high-level Magical Swordsman was the deputy stationed in Basia City by Danboro, the Royal Family’s sentinels in the army.

Countess Stelter was almost suffocating to discover that this tied in with her... after all, as a mage originating from the Royal Family, she was able to maintain the family’s reputation and wealth in Basia City during those years when Count Stelter was away, thanks to the clandestine support from the magical swordsman faction from the Royal Capital.

This supervisor-like high-level Swordsman, after coming to Basia, frequently visited her.

Due to her body completely recovering in recent years, she aimed to regain the power of a Professional, so even with this newcomer whom she was not very familiar with, she established some form of alliance with him.

Resulted in, this fellow, unexpectedly, causing such a huge mess.

His own tragic death was bad enough... though it was because he was beaten to death by the overwhelming Lily of the Valley, yet no one in this world would avenge him... but he also placed Basia City and their Stelter family in the most awkward situation!

The mastermind behind the scenes was Ellie, manipulated by their family; the doer was a magical swordsman with whom she had a good relationship. Helena was beginning to wonder if she was somehow cursed.

Fortunately, after searching through her memories and spending a huge price to communicate back and forth with her teacher still in the capital, she finally confirmed which hole this magical swordsman had stepped into...Luciella and her renowned beautiful mother.

As the former King’s bodyguard, the swordsman had built a good relationship with Luciella’s mother, and even after she was over 30 and the King saw less of her, he still persistently paid visits to this noblewoman.

Luciella and the swordsman also shared a good rapport, she even studied under his sister, who was also a magical swordsman... because the young lady’s magical talents were abysmally poor, even worse than Lind’s.

Though she couldn’t become a Mage, as the famously First Beauty, she must have something to guard against some overly aggressive courtship tactics from men whose minds were overwhelmed by desire.

A Magical Swordsman was very suitable; if she couldn’t win, she could run.

Were it not for Helena worrying about the family’s future ties with the Royal Capital, the Danboro Royal Family might still think their days were going just fine!

After all, the idiotic former King has already abdicated.

Though it inevitably resulted in sacrificing a bit of the Royal Family’s sovereignty, most Royalty members believed that as long as the throne remained within their family, a wise, decisive, and exceptionally powerful ruler would eventually emerge to reclaim power.

Now, conversely, due to the scattered royal power, they were no longer required to fight for Danboro... if it was before, the Royalty were the first warriors to charge towards the enemy!

But nowadays, those families who sliced up their authority dared not allow the Royal Family’s military into their territories for battle, so, despite the chaotic state of the family domains, they could only suffer on their own... even as the Undead Tribe cursed them harshly, they endured with difficulty.

Thankfully, with the Moon Clan leading, most nobles uphold the noble demeanor in the face of the Undead Tribe: Say what ought to be said, do what needs to be done. Never easily shirk your responsibilities to prevent the Undead Tribe from directly killing him and then handling the work themselves.

Originally, everything was going well.

Even if some messy news came from Basia City, everyone could accept it.

Hey~

Triton was standing right across; is it not normal for trouble to happen?

A Prince of Danboro has already been lost in the mix, your Stelter family only lost a girl, which is reasonable.

Since the Stelter family hasn’t come back seeking help, everyone has tactfully maintained silence.

It turns out the Royal Family still has a responsibility they haven’t offloaded.

Everyone understood that it’s inherently due to Luciella and her mom that the high-level Swordsman, of such status, abruptly joined this unlinked matter.

Currently, everyone hopes it’s the mom who’s problematic, but sadly, after engagement with some managerial layers of the Undead Tribe, they can only resign themselves to accepting Luciella as the major source of trouble.

Her mom is actually serving under her.

The former King being able to claim this great beauty and father a peerless beauty himself, it turns out was but through borrowed seeds.

The Danboro Royal Family actually did not wish to part with this famous Danboro Pearl within the entire nation.

Often, needing arrangements of apology, just having Luciella as the Royal Family’s spokesperson, most citizens easily accepted the gestures.

However, their hesitation lasted only a few days.

The Undead Tribe had already initiated their First Beauty campaign.

The sincere compliment from Stelter family heir, combined with the beautiful, sexy yet slightly divine young lady’s image, spread across the Undead Tribe’s tablets visible in every town and village.

Luciella was certainly beautiful, but in the Fantasy World, strength is also a form of beauty.

She’s too weak.

Naturally, nobles and powerful Professionals appreciate Luciella’s type of beauty more... the reality that beauties can only rely on them for survival not only implants a perception of being very powerful, but also reassuringly lets her fame shine brightly!

Otherwise, a potent figure possessing such charisma, what’s the significance of the Royal Family and nobles existing?

What if she decides to call to action?

Women too have ambitions.

All true nobles are aware, no matter how they suppress women’s existence, genuine power isn’t something anyone can suppress.

Since the Undead Tribe has already commenced their confrontation, Luciella’s worth diminishes...hurriedly, since the Undead Tribe isn’t interested in their ruling power, the Danboro Royal Family can cleanly relinquish.

Of course, they didn’t do anything against the mother-daughter duo... mainly because many have seen the Undead Tribe’s videos, making them naturally understand, what Ellie could achieve, Luciella presumably could too.

Presently, this young lady is still playing weak, so there’s no need to break this illusion, right?

Though they wish to send her to the desert, but...considering her former love for silk products, they decided to just leave everything...ah no, they had to cancel her access to the Royal Palace, as well as reclaim the properties the mother-daughter duo held near the palace, other things were left to be, let nature take its course, let nature take its course.

What can Danborone do?
