I Am Scouted by Real Madrid

Chapter 785: Chapter 46: Simeone: Chen? Heh

”I think he made that move because the referee’s decision confused him.”

”After all, too many players have made similar moves, yet haven’t received the punishment they deserved.”

”Moreover, my assistant just told me that Cristiano is injured, while their player isn’t hurt.”

Mourinho’s last words suggested that Chen Zhong’s tackle was very standard. Although Uyfalusi flew through the air, he wasn’t injured and could soon continue the game. Yet Cristiano Ronaldo was tackled off the field injured, and Atletico Madrid’s player received no punishment.

Diego Simeone also heard Mourinho’s response. The cheeky and handsome man was naturally unrestrained. When facing reporters, discussing Chen Zhong and Uyfalusi, he straightforwardly stated, ”There’s nothing wrong with Uyfalusi’s actions. I support the referee’s decision.”

”As for Chen?”

”I think such a player can hardly become the leader and star player of Real Madrid.”

”If this match was against Barcelona and Messi.”

”He certainly wouldn’t resort to such a way of retaliation.”

Even though Diego Simeone appreciated Chen on the field, off the field, he admired his compatriot Messi more than Chen.

”Do you know why he got a yellow card?”

”Uyfalusi did it for the match, for the team, it was a strategy, it was unintentional.”

”But Chen, he did it on purpose, without any meaning. There was no need for such a move, it was an act of retaliation.”

”I just want to say, he will never be as good as Messi.”

...

Diego Simeone’s comments sparked a great uproar after the match and served as a prelude to the upcoming national derby. After this round of matches, in three more rounds, Real Madrid will compete against Barcelona in the second leg at Bernabeu.

Mentioning the Madrid derby, people seem to have lost their enthusiasm. ”Marca” commented on this derby: ”An endless history, the derby is still the same as it was before...”

Real Madrid once again defeated Atletico Madrid. When points were most needed, despite their deep-seated hatred, Atletico’s players could only play the role of Real Madrid’s point machine.

If there’s anyone who can reignite passion for the derby, it’s likely only Chen Zhong, this Chinese genius who once again used his magical footwork to defeat the opponent.

Chen Zhong is continuously proving himself worthy of being the future of Real Madrid.

After the match, someone interviewed Chen Zhong, asking how he viewed the upcoming national derby. Chen Zhong showed enough seriousness, stating: ”Barcelona’s players are more synchronized, having played together for many years.”

”But our team is younger, with more potential. We’ve already found the right direction and we improve day by day, we’ve found a stable style.”

”In fact.” At this point, Chen Zhong paused and said; ”In matches where I played, we’ve never lost to Barcelona!”

Chen Zhong’s words aren’t unfounded. Some have calculated that Real Madrid has almost never lost in matches where Chen Zhong appeared, and against Barcelona, in matches where Chen Zhong played, there were mostly wins and rarely draws, never losses.

In fact, Chen Zhong has become Real Madrid’s new leader and flag-bearer. Internally, more people are putting Chen Zhong on par with Zidane, as they believe Chen Zhong can become the new Zidane of Real Madrid.

In some ways, Chen Zhong has even surpassed Zidane, which is not an exaggeration.

When Zidane first joined Real Madrid, it took him more than half a season to start adapting to La Liga, whereas Chen Zhong integrated with the team from the very start.

”Marca” wrote: ”Real Madrid has found a new commander, has a new leader and flag-bearer, Chen Zhong helps Mourinho’s team calmly control the game. He can easily find the right direction for the team’s attack, which makes him every defender’s nightmare.”

”Diario AS” believes that Chen Zhong makes Mourinho’s team full of competitiveness, ”His goals are full of spectacle, with powerful shots that completely shatter the opponents’ confidence...”

Some even say that the best thing Florentino did in his second term was recalling Chen Zhong from Milan.

Chen Zhong’s performance has already won over everyone within the club.

The honorary president of the club, Stefano, stated, ”Every move Chen Zhong makes can pose a threat to the opponents. He is a player who always exceeds ordinary people’s imagination...”

”From appearance, you might think he is a defense butcher who doesn’t like to use his brain, but that’s not the case on the field.”

”He can do almost anything and can encourage his teammates, serving as the team’s flag-bearer.”

”Chen Zhong represents the future of Real Madrid. Madrid fans like players like Chen Zhong, what’s more, he adapted to the team and to La Liga in the shortest possible time, and the confidence and maturity he has shown at his age is beyond what we could ever imagine.”

Chen Zhong has made Mourinho’s team no longer rigid.

In fact, whether at Porto, Chelsea, or Inter Milan, Mourinho was dedicated to building a more ’mechanical’ team. He preferred the tireless midfield core types like Deco, Lampard, and Sneijder, but at Real Madrid, Mourinho knew what kind of football style the fans expected to see.

Bernabeu requires the performance of a genius, and there is never a shortage of geniuses here.

Chen Zhong earned stable playing time and repaid Mourinho with his stats.

With Chen Zhong’s outstanding performance, Real Madrid extended their unbeaten record in the Madrid derby to 21 matches. Chen Zhong even left a shadow in the hearts of the opponents. How long will Atletico Madrid’s derby nightmare continue with Chen Zhong around?

Casillas Race’s post-match speech was even more provocative.

”Atletico Madrid will beat me, but they’ll have to wait...”

Originally, Atletico Madrid had already struggled to regain confidence in the derby, now they have a new nemesis in Chen Zhong. This bad record can only continue to grow, and the Madrid derby will still be ”an endless history...”

Besides Atletico Madrid, Chen Zhong also seemingly holds the curse for Barcelona. Whether in the Madrid derby or national derby, Chen Zhong plays quite an important role.

Beijing time on March 20 news: Real Madrid Club announced Cristiano Ronaldo’s latest injury condition on their official website. Reports from the MRI showed that the Portuguese’s left biceps femoris muscle was temporarily strained with signs of swelling.

On Real Madrid’s official website, it clearly stated that Cristiano Ronaldo will rest for 2 to 3 weeks due to this injury.

This aligns very much with the news Mourinho heard from Francisco after the match.

After the match, Real Madrid also did a review. They were somewhat concerned about the Portuguese’s injury but soon found the cause.

In fact, Cristiano Ronaldo’s injury had never fully healed, but in the away game against Atletico Madrid, he insisted on playing again despite the risk.

Later, ”Marca” stated that Cristiano Ronaldo’s overwhelming ambition once again made him disregard his body to fight for the team.

However, the coming two weeks will enter a national team rest period, during which the Portuguese can take the time to properly recover from his injury. So this injury has almost no impact on Real Madrid.

Real Madrid’s next match will be against Sporting Gijon Team at home on April 3.

The Portuguese can completely recover in these 15 days.

During this period, Chen Zhong can also have some free time, as he hasn’t yet been called up by the national team.
