I Am Scouted by Real Madrid

Chapter 778: Chapter 43: Who Says Chen Is a Brute?

Estadio Vicente Calderón

The stands were clearly divided into two colors, and at this moment, they all uncontrollably made noise for one person.

Real Madrid’s No. 10, Chen Zhong, after a Marseille Turn, used his left foot to flick the ball up. If it were just flicking up, that would be nothing.

But after getting past the player, he could still control the power precisely with his ”weak foot” left foot to flick the ball up and over Atletico Madrid’s defender, delivering the ball precisely to Benzema’s feet, which was astonishing.

Benzema, under the defense of two Atletico Madrid players, showcased his ”agility.”

”Chen Zhong flicked the ball up with his left foot.”

”The ball went over the head of the Atletico Madrid player.”

”Benzema skillfully controlled the ball.”

”With a change of pace, he shook off the nearby Atletico Madrid player!”

”One-on-one!”

”This is a one-on-one opportunity.”

Chen Zhong had decided to deliver the ball over early on when getting past the player. This was a routine practiced in training, and Benzema did not appear there by chance.

Although the game was less than ten minutes in, Benzema had already made similar runs three or four times, but on the previous occasions, he had not received the pass.

But this time, he did.

He handled it well, and the anxious Atletico Madrid defenders did not disturb him at all.

He is not that ”strong” ”Magic Beast,” not a player like Drogba, cannot push away the opponent like Chen Zhong, but he has his own way.

He has an agile figure, like a sly cat slipping out before the opponent closes the door.

De Gea seemed a bit helpless, after all, this sequence of events occurred in just a few seconds, and the seemingly ”solid” defense of Atletico Madrid was simply pierced by Real Madrid.

Could Benzema directly face the goalkeeper one-on-one?

By this time, Benzema had already rushed into the penalty area; Atletico Madrid players were somewhat at a loss, and De Gea spread his arms wide, posture ready, in front of Benzema, who had a nickname for missed one-on-ones this season.

His missed open goal is still circulating on the internet, and it is the sharpest weapon for Real Madrid fans to criticize him.

But...

One cannot be unlucky forever, right?

The Benzema of early in the season no longer exists, I...

From 10 yards, Benzema was not flustered at all, facing De Gea, who was rushing towards him, he turned sideways and lobbed.

”De Gea abandons the goal and charges!”

”Benzema!”

”One-on-one lob shot!”

”The ball went in!”

”0:1”

”Real Madrid took the lead in scoring!”

”The one who scored is!”

”Benzema!”

De Gea’s eyes were only on the ball, Benzema’s eyes were only on the goal.

The ball went over De Gea’s reaching hand and fell in the direction of the goal, and under the watchful eyes of countless fans, the ball fell into the net without any surprises.

Real Madrid fans in the stands raised their hands high to cheer for Benzema, and even Mourinho on the sidelines nodded repeatedly, unable to hide the happiness in his eyes.

His ”taunting” of a player was never to attack the person but to stimulate his potential through such means!

”Oh Benzema, Benzema!”

”Recently, his form has been on the rise.”

”In this match against Atletico Madrid.”

”Once again, Benzema helped the team open the can!”

”He scored the first goal.”

”This proves once again, that the current Benzema is no longer Benzecat.”

”He could be Benzetiger, Benzelion, Benzetyrannosaurus Rex!”

Recently, Benzema has completely shed his early season slump, scoring in consecutive games, fans cheer, regaining his lost finishing touch, and as the season enters a crucial stage, he has finally awakened.

It can be said that he is now at the sweetest moment of his career!

Without a doubt, the former hope star of Europe has found himself again.

”He’s very active, very active!” Mourinho looked at Francisco next to him and praised repeatedly. The cat-and-dog theory at the beginning of the season caused Mourinho some trouble.

Towards Benzema, some of Real Madrid’s higher-ups held expectations, expecting Mourinho to give Benzema more encouragement, but Mourinho didn’t.

And now, Mourinho won again.

His choice was correct.

In this match, Benzema was very active right from the start, just now, this French center forward, under the chase of two opposing players, used his speed to break into the box, coolly lobbed past De Gea, giving the team an early lead, and allowing the Derby de Madrid to continue to advance along Real Madrid’s old routine of overpowering the smaller team.

After scoring, Benzema ran along the baseline, celebrating like a flying bird, finally, he leaped high, shaking his arms, full of strength.

Chen Zhong jogged over to embrace Benzema, Benzema looked at Chen Zhong and said, ”Thank you, thank you, I waited, I scored.”

In the first half of the season, Benzema’s goals lacked weight, but now, every one of his goals is important, in every crucial match, he performs outstandingly.

The 35 million euro man has not only recovered his pride but also made club president Florentino very excited, no one will forget, in the match against Lyon, the usually mild-mannered Florentino made a surprising gesture: he stood up instantly after Benzema’s goal, raised his arms to celebrate, at that moment, the president of Real Madrid was as excited as a fan, and previously, whether his team scored or the opponent scored, he remained calm.
