Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

When the pickled hunting knife was slowly taken out of the liquid, Li Younan gently wiped it with polishing cream, and the delicate flowing cloud patterns immediately appeared on the streamlined shaped hunting knife.

He weighed it in his hand for a moment, very satisfied with the shape and weight of the knife.

It is important to know that this finished knife not only combines the super high hardness and wear resistance of M4, at least three times that of ordinary Damascus knives, but also has the extremely high toughness given by its base material.

Li Younan placed the knife on the table, clamped it, and with a strong bend, the knife body directly bent nearly 40 degrees under Bill’s shocked gaze. Then, with a loosened hand, it snapped back to its original position, trembling violently and emitting a series of humming noises.

The final step was actually quite simple, which was making the handle.

As a top-notch carpenter, Li Younan’s first choice was a wooden handle.

A few hours later, the knife finally came to its final form.

Li Younan not only made the handle, but also made a highly ornamental sheath for the knife, carved with exquisite patterns.

He gently drew the knife, the already sharpened edge gleaming with a cold light, while the exquisite flowing cloud pattern was highly aesthetic.

Done!

At this moment, Li Younan suddenly felt a special sense of fatigue coming over him. He looked at Uncle Bill next to him and saw that his eyes were somewhat red and swollen, and then absent-mindedly asked, ”Uncle, what time is it now?”

Uncle stretched and said, ”It’s 1 in the morning now.”

Upon hearing this time, Li Younan was slightly stunned.

After all, when he had just walked in here, it was still afternoon. Unexpectedly, he had been working intensely for over 10 hours, no wonder he was so tired, and his stomach felt a bit hungry.

What surprised him was that Uncle Bill had stayed with him the whole time, not eating either.

Li Younan felt a little embarrassed and said, ”I’m really sorry, for taking up so much time.”

The other party laughed heartily and said, ”This is the most amazing sword forging performance I have ever seen. Honestly, you should participate in the Sword Forging Competition. Believe me, with your level, the title of the strongest Chinese sword forging master is definitely yours.”

Li Younan felt slightly moved, in fact, he had considered participating in the Sword Forging Competition because the third check-in point is New York, and the competition is held in Brooklyn, right in New York.

But the immediate priority is to fill his stomach.

Previously focused on forging, he did not feel hunger or fatigue, now all Li Younan wanted was to have a good meal and then sleep soundly.

And Uncle obviously wanted to continue chatting with Li Younan, he said, ”I often rest in the smithy, now it’s late. Try my barbecue, once we’ve finished the barbecue, we can have a little beer and chat here.”

Li Younan thought for a moment and then agreed.

That night, Li Younan drove the pickup truck to Uncle Bill’s garage to rest for the night, mainly because the town’s only hotel was already full.

What he didn’t know was, because of this unintentional move, two people in a black Toyota waiting outside the hotel spent a freezing night.

...

Today is the day to officially head to the hunting competition camp. Before setting out, Li Younan plans to conduct a field test on this hunting knife.

First is the sharpness test.

In Bill’s smithy, Li Younan holds a scarf in one hand and the hunting knife in the other.

He lets the scarf float in the air, then suddenly slashes it, and in Bill’s dumbfounded gaze, as well as under the camera’s lens, the scarf is directly cut into two pieces in the air, with a smooth and seamless edge.

Li Younan, holding the hunting knife, says to the camera with satisfaction: ”Q it all.”

Next is the blade strength test.

Li Younan asked Uncle Bill to find a wild boar thigh bone, the dense thigh bone is several times denser than human bones.

He first lightly knocked this thigh bone with the knife back, making a bang bang sound, showing it was very hard.

Li Younan first took out a hunting knife bought casually at a knife store, and exerted strength to chop down on the bone, only to hear a bang, the knife handle transmitted strong shock force.

He frowned and dared not chop it a second time, because with just one chop, the hunting knife had already formed a huge notch while the wild boar thigh bone was unmoved.

Li Younan shrugged to the camera: ”Not Q at all.”

Then, he took a deep breath and took out his beloved knife, marked the pig bone with the blade, and then slowly raised it.

Uncle Bill held his breath.

In the next moment, Li Younan slashed down vigorously, only to hear a bang, pig bone fragments flew, but it did not break.

Li Younan unhesitatingly raised the knife and struck again, and this second strike accurately hit the same position, slicing through the wild boar thigh bone in one blow!

Li Younan lifted the knife, the blade as good as new.

Uncle Bill couldn’t help but laugh heartily, took the knife, played with it fondly, and then swung it at the camera, saying: ”Q it all! Q it all!”

The camera recorded the whole scene.
