Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

At this moment, Jenny suddenly noticed Li Younan standing next to her and instinctively looked up.

Li Younan was intently gazing at the waves, with no trace of fear in his eyes, only a longing for the surf.

At this time, all Li Younan could think about was how thrilling it would be to be inside that wave.

Suddenly, a somewhat hesitant voice was heard: ”Hey, have we met somewhere before?”

Li Younan withdrew his gaze and looked down to see Jenny staring at him. He shook his head: ”Without a doubt, ma’am, we haven’t met. In fact, I’m a traveler who just arrived in the United States.”

However, hearing this, Jenny immediately lit up: ”China... Are you Li Younan? The traveler from China, the superstar of ’Alone in the Wilderness’? Oh my! It’s really you!”

The unexpected encounter with a fan surprised Li Younan a bit, but he secretly rejoiced, which meant... His gaze shifted to the jet ski.

Then he nodded: ”Yes, it’s me.”

”Hahaha!”

Jenny stood up abruptly, ”I’m a huge fan of ’Alone in the Wilderness,’ and I never imagined I could meet you here.”

She looked Li Younan up and down and asked, ”Are you also here to surf? Oh, I saw your live broadcast skiing down Mount Everest in China, so besides skiing, you surf too?”

Li Younan shrugged: ”It’s pretty similar.”

”Can I take a photo with you?”

”Of course you can.”

Just then, after that wave, it seemed like no one else was challenging that surfing area.

The surfer who had a conflict with Jenny also rode a jet ski back to the shore, but even though no one was heading for that giant wave area anymore, there were still plenty of people at the third wave point willing to give it a try.

Li Younan noticed that the man turned towards another wave area. He pondered as he looked towards that giant wave region, where no surfers seemed to be heading anymore.

Jenny said, ”Looks like he’s not as good as he claimed. I thought he would conquer that giant wave.”

Li Younan shook his head: ”Nature cannot be conquered. Only when nature accepts you; there’s no such thing as you conquering nature.”

Jenny was taken aback, looking at Li Younan in surprise.

Li Younan smiled: ”That’s the conclusion I came to while climbing Mount Everest.”

He then pointed to Jenny’s jet ski and her rider, saying, ”I want to see if the ocean will accept me... Would you mind if your rider takes me there for a while?”

Jenny was stunned, eyes wide open, and then shook her head: ”I don’t think it’s a good idea. The waves in that area are getting bigger, and I’m worried there might be waves over 8 meters today.”

”I don’t know your surfing level, but surfing is quite different from skiing.”

Li Younan just smiled at her.

Jenny hesitated a bit, then suddenly laughed: ”But if you’re determined, I’m more than willing to help!”

Li Younan happily nodded: ”I truly appreciate it.”

However, Jenny’s jet ski rider and the filming crew looked at Li Younan with some hesitation, their expressions more concerned.

Jenny asked again: ”Can I help film a video for you?”

Li Younan said: ”I would love that.”

He had a waterproof sports camera ready to film the first-person perspective while surfing, but if there was a drone to capture other angles, it would be even better.

Since Jenny was the jet ski’s owner, her words left the rider with no objections.

Li Younan climbed onto the back seat of the jet ski with his surfboard, and the rider twisted the throttle, the jet ski bobbing on the waves, cutting through the water, speeding away.

Before long, the jet ski reached the side edge of the giant wave area, where the waves wouldn’t hit directly.

Li Younan patted the rider’s shoulder and said: ”Thanks, buddy.”

The rider laughed heartily and said: ”Good luck.”

What Li Younan didn’t know at this moment was that his action caught the attention of all the spectators in the area, surprising them.

After all, the waves had grown dangerously large; the biggest danger was being hit and flipped by a wave, dragged underwater. Under such big waves, the tumble effect is even greater, making it impossible to discern up, down, left, or right.

Moreover, there’s no way to control your body.

It’s completely out of control.

The bigger the wave, the longer and deeper the tumble effect lasts. Even the best divers could easily encounter accidents in such conditions.

So many surfers had already decided to avoid the brunt of the giant waves.

And the spectators on boats also planned to leave.

Yet at this moment, Li Younan went against the current, riding the jet ski alone into the surf area.

Hmm?

All eyes turned to him.

The surfer who had clashed with Jenny reached a lower-wave area, frowning as he looked towards Li Younan.

Feeling ashamed by earlier failure, now seeing someone continue to challenge under even bigger waves, he snorted and said: ”What a reckless guy.”

Li Younan was lying on the surfboard, gazing at the ocean behind him, his mind tranquil at this moment.

His hand gently touched the seawater, the feeling of being adrift and out of control was intensely strong.
