Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

Li Younan stood next to them observing for a while, and basically figured out that the jet ski rider was brought along by the female surfer at her own expense, not rented from here.

So, if you want the rider to take you to the wave zone for surfing, you definitely need that female surfer to agree.

Li Younan casually approached the two, pondering how to strike up a conversation.

At this moment, the female surfer glanced towards the surfing player, with whom she had a conflict, heading to the surfing area on a jet ski, and then rather displeased, she said to the jet ski driver beside her, ”That guy truly lacks gentlemanly manners.”

Hearing this, Li Younan found it somewhat amusing.

It wasn’t the words themselves that made him laugh but rather the thought that the surfer’s behavior could be considered raw, directly dragging her into the sea and even mocking her earlier, yet he only received a comment of ”lacking gentleman manners.”

To be fair, this shows that the female player is genuinely an independent woman.

At this moment, Li Younan finally got a clear look at the female surfer’s appearance; she wasn’t the stunning beauty in the traditional sense, with short hair and sun-kissed skin.

She seemed to be a Caucasian, and as someone who often interacted with Caucasians, Chinese people understood that their type of pale white wasn’t particularly appealing, instead, the wheat-colored skin tone was seen as more attractive in their view.

This aesthetic isn’t entirely about the online spread notion that ”wheat-colored skin and more leisure time for sunbathing are tied to wealth.”

This woman’s skin was entirely tanned naturally, and for people who spend long periods in the water, their skin becomes not only darker but relatively glossy.

Moreover, this woman had obvious muscle lines on her arms, and her legs looked very sturdy and powerful.

After all, managing to surf in such conditions and even challenging the highest waves isn’t something frail surfing enthusiasts could achieve.

While Li Younan was observing, the surfer with whom she had friction had already reached the wave area on the jet ski.

Li Younan now turned his gaze back to that area, looking over. It was hard to see clearly, so he took out his binoculars.

He saw the man get off the jet ski, pressing the surfboard beneath him, sliding forward for a bit, estimating the direction and distance of the next wave, adjusting his posture and direction, and constantly looking back to calculate the arrival time of the next wave.

It must be said that the sea wind was even stronger than before, the jet ski turned and left the area, while several boats observing from close distance docked not far from the wave zone, where the view was evidently better. Some people were live streaming, and a drone hovered above.

At this moment, the female player’s team came over, and a drone operator concernedly asked, ”Hey, Jenny, how are you feeling?”

Li Younan thought, so this woman is called Jenny.

Jenny looked up, sneezed, expelling quite a bit of seawater, and shook her head, ”Not so great, was there anything usable from the earlier footage?”

The other person sighed slightly, ”Unfortunately, there weren’t any complete surfing shots, none are really usable.”

Only then did Li Younan realize that the other party seemed to be a surfing influencer, shooting videos.

At this point, the next wave was almost here. Li Younan lifted his binoculars again, focusing on the situation over there, seeing that the man was lying on the surfboard, his body intermittently visible as he went up and down with the sea surface.

To be honest, even though the wave hadn’t arrived yet, the sea surface already had a height differential of one or two meters.

Li Younan squinted into the distance, and with his sense of the waves, quickly judged that the next wave would be bigger than any previous waves.

Before the wave officially arrived, there wouldn’t be an intuitive feeling of it.

As the wave crest got closer, the people on the boats gasped first, followed by the audience on the beach who also noticed.

The drone operator next to Jenny’s eyes lit up, saying, ”Wow, this wave is definitely the biggest today! I have to fly the drone over to take a look.”

Sure enough, as the wave rolled closer, the area looked like a towel with a moving ping pong ball rolling underneath.

When the wave reached the man, in an instant, there was an estimated height difference of over 5 meters.

The man paddled vigorously, but at the moment of standing up, he directly plunged in.

The energy of this wave was immense, and as the wave crest was entirely below his body, the height difference below was even about six or seven meters.

He failed to catch the wave, but this was also a good thing: when he plunged into the water, being still underneath just a green wave, the wave crest didn’t engulf him but directly tossed him to the backside of the wave.

As the green wave continued to surge toward the shore, the wave’s speed increased, and the height difference became more alarming.

At certain spots, the green wave shattered, the edge of the wave crest created white spray, then as the wave rolled higher, the spray from the top crashed down fiercely, forming a perfect hollow wave, and the height of this wave was stunning.

Jenny’s jet ski driver curiously asked Jenny, ”Can you handle this wave?”

Jenny shook her head without hesitation, ”This wave is too high, I think today’s planned journey has to end here.”
