Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

After successfully landing these four midfield shots consecutively, Li Younan’s attention was completely off the deafening cheers in the arena because the system’s skyrocketing Starlight Value was just too overwhelming.

You should know that there are quite a few celebrities at the Lakers’ home games, with some VIPs often coming to watch the match.

Although this game isn’t one of those crucial playoff games, nor a Christmas showdown or a season opener with special significance, the matchup between the Lakers and the Warriors’ old rivals, coupled with the high-profile stars on both sides, makes this game quite appealing nonetheless.

Li Younan didn’t know how astonished the big shots sitting in the stands were by his four shots; in short, his Starlight Value jumped by over a million.

Undoubtedly, for Li Younan, this gain is the most important.

Although he is still 3 million Starlight Value short of completing the task’s requirement of 5 million, keeping this upward trend in mind shouldn’t take too long.

The latter half of the game is more exciting than the first half. Today’s match was extremely tight between both sides, with the score exchanged back and forth in the last few minutes of the final quarter.

Ultimately, in an outstanding performance, they suddenly went on a 6-0 run that decisively closed the game. But either way, it was an exciting match that left spectators thrilled.

After watching the match, Li Younan decided to head back to the hotel directly to rest, as the game was played in the evening, and by the time it ended, it was really late.

On the way back, Li Younan opened a video in the car, finding the stream quite smooth despite being on the other side of the planet, much to his surprise.

It’s undeniable that near the stadium in Los Angeles, the carrier’s signal is quite good, with stable upload speeds exceeding 5 Mbps. Li Younan chatted with Liuli about his day, and soon he was back at the hotel.

After a simple wash-up, Li Younan lay on the bed pondering where to go tomorrow.

Thinking it over, he simply grabbed the paper and pen from the hotel bedside, chewed the pen cap, and quickly jotted down a few schedule lists: watch an NBA game? Surf at a beach in Los Angeles? Experience real firearms in Dezhou?

Li Younan contemplated further American experiences to check off from the system’s suggestions, uniquely pegged to California, Dezhou, and New York.

Considering it, although these three states can’t fully represent the United States, they’re certainly particularly renowned.

California boasts the best economy, while Dezhou’s tough local culture complements its position as the second-best state economically, and New York stands as the financial hub.

However, when thinking of New York, Li Younan couldn’t quite come up with an ideal travel checklist.

Unable to figure it out, Li Younan decided not to dwell on it, picked up his recently penned checklist, and marked after ”watch an NBA game.” Next up was surfing at a Los Angeles beach.

To be honest, there are still many places to experience in the United States, although Li Younan was reconsidering adding adventures such as exploring Yellowstone Park, hiking, and cowboy rodeos to his checklist.

Despite this, Li Younan didn’t plan to think much further today. He intended to get a good night’s sleep, recharge, and wholeheartedly experience surfing tomorrow.

Malibu Reef State Beach is South California’s most iconic coastal landmark.

Li Younan first wandered around Hollywood, then drove from there, which took less than half an hour.

As he drove, his phone played information about Malibu Beach, giving him a general overview of what is acclaimed as the world’s best surfing paradise.

The location lies at the junction of Malibu’s west and the Pacific, creating a naturally triangular coastline ideal for waves to bend and break perfectly.

The seafloor combined with underwater reefs and sandy beaches allows the incoming waves to achieve long and smooth breaks as they approach the shore.

This time of year has the ideal conditions for surfing at Malibu Beach, as strong waves arrive from the Southern Hemisphere, coinciding with winter.

The beach’s large area offers points for beginners to practice surfing and steep waves for advanced surfers to challenge, along with giant waves and high-speed breaks providing extreme challenges for world-class surfers.

Importantly, this place fosters a surfing culture, drawing surfers of various skill levels daily.

Arrived at Malibu Reef State Beach.

It was December, yet the unique warm golden sunlight of Southern California kept the temperature hovering above 20 degrees, with hardly any chill in the air.

The sea breeze carried the salty moisture of marine air in its folds. Upon arriving, rows of surfboards became visible, with surfers either wearing wetsuits or baring their toned upper bodies, whether awaiting the next wave in the sea or catching the right-hand wave, sliding smoothly on their longboards.

More are beginners, clumsily following instructors’ guidance as they grasp onto their board’s rope.

The beach also bustled with Chinese tourists, creating a lively scene. Families spread picnic mats and gathered together, while children built sandcastles and played in the sand.
