Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

Just these three shots have already maxed out the attention and anticipation.

Li Younan couldn’t help but admire: ”As expected of my Brother Long... no, now I should call her Sister Long.”

Although JK Long still didn’t know her gender had been uncovered, she seemed to start gradually forgetting the ”Brother Long” persona during communication, occasionally speaking in a feminine tone, and once realizing it, she’d frantically patch it up, and Li Younan of course continued to play dumb.

Continuing to watch the video, after the bloopers, it began to seriously explain what she had been doing during these days of disappearance.

Then, from a first-person perspective, she unfolded this experience chronologically.

Li Younan has a photography background; he instinctively uses photo-taking techniques when operating the camera, mainly in framing and lighting, making even his first-person videos appear quite textured.

The whole process, under JK Long’s editing, was full of ups and downs, also inserting many professional explanations on the Gongga Mountain loop trek and climbing, allowing people unfamiliar with the sport to understand what Li Younan was doing.

Seeing this, Li Younan felt somewhat moved.

He knew JK Long hadn’t understood the climbing sport before, meaning she spent a lot of time last night finding information and integrating it into the video elements.

After watching, Li Younan put down the phone—this was an incredibly high-quality video.

However, he didn’t immediately publish it, because JK Long quickly sent a message: ”By the way, Li Younan, you haven’t uploaded the video, right? Don’t release it yet, my brother said he wants to contact sponsors, this video should have a good spot for an ad.”

Although Li Younan was somewhat reluctant—the video was so high-quality, inserting ads would reduce its fluidity—but no one would say no to money, and he now has a collaborative relationship with the Long siblings, he can’t have them doing unpaid work, so he agreed.

While he was waiting for Liu Yu’s reply, something unexpected happened...

Old Xu who had been constantly mocking him was confronted by someone.

...

While lying in the hospital, Ding Rui naturally searched for information about Li Younan at the first opportunity.

Because Li Younan had said during their chat that his video platform ID was his own name.

Yet unexpectedly, the first result wasn’t Li Younan’s video or his homepage, but rather a streamer’s analysis, brazenly claiming Li Younan was faking it, named ”Old Xu.”

The first video analyzing his fakery was a long-uploaded video of Li Younan shooting arrows.

This video, due to later traffic, actually sparked some interest.

And the second video was that old guy seriously analyzing that Li Younan surely wouldn’t dare to cross and trek truthfully, just did a show, disappeared for a few days to earn a wave of traffic.

This baseless nonsense actually had so many people liking and believing, making Ding Rui on the hospital bed grind his teeth in anger.

He also has a bit of a following on the short-video platform, because he doesn’t manage his account much, only a few thousand followers.

But he has many friends in the circle.

If Old Xu were harassing someone else, he’d be indifferent. However, he was discrediting Li Younan!

Who is Li Younan? Li Younan is his lifesaver! Without Li Younan, he couldn’t possibly see today’s sun!

People ought to have conscience, when his lifesaver is being slandered, how could he sit and do nothing?

Even putting that aside, he also met Li Younan during climbing Gongga Mountain.

If Li Younan were staging a show, then he saw a ghost?

Even from a fair and objective bystander’s point of view, he had to clear Li Younan’s name.

Anger rose as he watched that so-called Old Xu’s smug face, followers dumbly echoing nonsense, his mind went hot, and he started filming himself.

His first video was filled with foul language, and got flagged after upload.

After a while, he calmed his expression and recorded a new segment.

This time, obviously more restrained, but the first sentence again fiercely attacked Old Xu.

At that moment he passionately vented, classic lines springing in his mind, he said: ”That Old Xu always says in his videos ’playing with traffic for traffic will inevitably be bitten back by traffic,’ what a quote! I’ll send it back to him! Isn’t he always gaining traffic by debunking others? Well, responsibly I can say today—Old Xu, you’re in trouble! You’re discrediting my lifesaver! Without Li Younan, I might’ve just died on Gongga Mountain! We barely had signal on the mountain, only to come down and see his laughable bold claims!”

Then he restored in first-person the story of meeting Li Younan at the foot of Gongga Mountain, continually encountering him during the climb, and how Li Younan saved his life at last.

In the end, he was entirely immersed in his emotion, teary-eyed, moving others.

After finishing this video, Ding Rui uploaded it again, and this time it got through.

In fact, video platform officials greatly encourage videos with controversial nature, as controversy means traffic, engagement, even actively boosting such provocative videos.

He defiantly put a thousand yuan on Dou Plus, ready to invest more if needed.

Not satisfied, Ding Rui messaged Zhao Liang and Gao Yonghui, urging them to produce videos too.

These buddies naturally obliged.

To broaden the impact, they kept contacting others in the circle.

They have decent connections in the community.

Indeed, they know some influential streamers, though this niche limits fan count, even top climbing streamers have only tens of thousands.

But numbers bring strength.

Among them, Gao Yonghui even addressed the accusation from Xu Yusheng regarding Li Younan’s archery video being faked.

He had a sports camera at the time, for documenting the climbing journey.

And happened to capture Li Younan’s shot blowing a rock apart.

Upon releasing this video, views and likes, comments surged almost instantly.

Through Ding Rui’s relentless efforts, dozens of streamers with substantial followers helped by liking, forwarding, or speaking for him. Virtually overnight, online opinion of Li Younan reversed.

At this time, Li Younan was unaware of it all, after assuring family of his safety, he lay down to continue sleeping.

Climbing is quite energy-draining.

Coincidentally, while he was sleeping, in some city, Xu Yusheng was also sleeping in a rental apartment.

But Xu Yusheng woke earlier than Li Younan.

He woke up, as usual, checking platform information first.

Once opened the platform’s messages, it felt like the sky had fallen.
