Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

Li Younan nodded and said, ”Got it.”

Liu Yu looked up at the ceiling, sighed softly, and said, ”After returning to Chengdu, I started an advertising company and established several cooperative channels. I personally handle most of your business affairs, so you can rest assured. It’s also a win-win for our company, broadening a stream of distribution for us.”

”As for the dubbing in your videos, you already know it’s me who does that. It’s not a big deal for me, it doesn’t take much time. I studied broadcasting in college.”

”From my perspective, of course, I hope you can make use of your talents, explore more dangerous places, maybe even go on adventures.”

”However, judging by your current odd relationship with my sister... if something were to happen to you one day, like accidentally falling off a cliff, it would likely worsen my sister’s condition... so you’d better handle that yourself.”

Li Younan sighed and said, ”My plan is, after a while, probably in the spring, to find a hiking route to explore... I am very skilled, with rich outdoor experience, and excellent physical fitness, so there’s no need to worry about that.”

Liu Yu, faced with Li Younan’s boasting, didn’t know what to say for a moment, so he just nodded indifferently.

Li Younan asked again, ”The task she assigned to me, oh, just to come over and take care of you... How should I respond to that? Do you have any suggestions?”

Liu Yu thought for a moment and said, ”Just say I’m healthy in every way, and that you’ll be coming over to take care of me for a while. That’s it.” Then he glanced at Li Younan and said, ”Of course, there’s no need for you to actually come, as long as it reassures her.”

Li Younan shrugged and said, ”That’s not a problem, I can come by every day for a quick visit.”

”Up to you then.”

Li Younan nodded, ”Let’s leave it at that for today. I won’t disturb your rest any longer.”

Liu Yu also nodded, ”Take care, I won’t see you out.”

After Li Younan left, Liu Yu immediately lay down. Due to the pain, his mouth twitched slightly in a rather undignified manner.

He had endured quite a while to maintain the posture he had when talking to Li Younan.

Once he lay down, looking at the ceiling, he felt a bit complicated.

From the moment Li Younan pushed the door open and entered, he had already figured out the state of his sister.

Indeed, how helpless must one be to ask someone they’ve never met in person, someone they’re even a bit reluctant to meet, to come over just to confirm their condition?

Thinking of this, his heart ached again.

He had shared all the details with that kid Li Younan. He was a smart guy, not a bad person, if he hadn’t misjudged him.

He would know what to do.

The only thing that surprised him was that he didn’t know his sister’s gender.

He took out his phone and called his sister. Before she could speak, he asked, not too pleased, ”Why did you ask him to come over?”

His sister was taken aback for a moment, then stammered, ”I just... was worried.”

She began to speak with a teary voice here.

Liu Yu’s tone softened, and he said gently, ”Didn’t I tell you? I’m fine.”

His sister didn’t respond, so Liu Yu didn’t linger on this topic any longer. Instead, he asked, ”Does he not know you’re a girl? What’s the reason for that?”

His sister was also momentarily surprised, probably not expecting her brother to ask that. She thought for a bit and then suddenly laughed, ”It’s really nothing special, he just assumed I was a guy from the start, calling me bro and all... I found it amusing, so I just went along with it...”

Suddenly, she seemed to think of something and asked cautiously, ”He didn’t ask you anything about me, did he?”

Liu Yu calmly said, ”Not at all. We were both quite awkward, barely made any conversation for half an hour.”

His sister hesitated for a moment and suspiciously asked, ”Really?”

Liu Yu said calmly, ”Absolutely, he didn’t ask me anything.”

I was the one who said everything.

”That’s good, that’s good...” Then she thought of something and started crying, ”You... don’t ever scare me like this again.”

Liu Yu felt a pang of tenderness, ”Don’t worry, it won’t happen again. I’ll be back in a few days.”

On his way back, Li Younan was still thinking about the whole deal with jk Long. He took out his phone and changed jk Long’s name in his contacts.

Jk Long (Liu Li)

Liu Li is jk Long’s real name.
