Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

Zhu Qingyue stood up, ”Why?”

Luo Yong said earnestly, ”You just graduated? I haven’t heard Lin Zuofang mention she has a niece your age. I must tell you, hiking and traversing isn’t like what you imagine it to be.”

He paused, his gaze reminiscing.

”About ten to twenty years ago, when I first entered this circle, I had the same mindset as you, always feeling life was poetic.”

”Like what you just said, about seeing the scenery your aunt has seen, walking the road she has walked... doesn’t that feel quite emotional and cool?”

Zhu Qingyue was taken aback for a moment.

Luo Yong’s tone gradually turned icy, ”Let me tell you what the harsh reality is, young lady, life isn’t that poetic. You won’t see the scenery your aunt saw, nor walk the path she walked, just like no one can ever step into the same river twice.”

”This is just your wishful fantasy, thinking, oh, I’ve been to the place my aunt visited, and my emotional knot will unravel.”

”You think you have an emotional knot.”

”But in reality, your emotional knot is simply yours.”

”It has nothing to do with where you’ve been, even if you visit that place, the knot can be untied with just a thought, and that thought doesn’t need to rely on you going anywhere... If you insist on connecting these two things together, in my view, it would be quite... foolish.”

Then he looked Zhu Qingyue up and down, his tone carrying a hard-to-describe pity, ”Looking at you, you haven’t climbed a mountain before, have you? Let me tell you, our route will scare you away as soon as you start, even reaching the foot of the mountain, our starting point, you won’t be able to do it on your own... I don’t wish for Lin Zuofang’s family member to become a tragedy for such ridiculous reasons.”

Faced with Luo Yong’s heartfelt persuasion, Zhu Qingyue felt a sense of powerlessness.

She knew clearly that what the other said was indeed correct, and if the person decided not to tell her the details, she would have no way to force it.

Zhu Qingyue looked unwillingly at Li Younan, but to her disappointment, Li Younan remained silent the whole time.

Luo Yong stood up and said, ”I have a class to teach. If there’s nothing else, I won’t accompany you anymore.”

Li Younan and Zhu Qingyue made way for him, and Luo Yong went over to continue his class.

Zhu Qingyue sniffled, wiped away her tears twice, and looked at Li Younan with grievance, ”Won’t you say something to help me?” She said the words without much confidence, her tone weak.

Li Younan was silent for a moment, in a sense, he felt Luo Yong was doing the right thing.

Zhu Qingyue couldn’t hold back any longer and folded her mouth before crying, ”Am I... am I really that stupid? Is what I am doing really so meaningless?”

Li Younan quietly looked at Zhu Qingyue, sighing slightly, ”Let me try again, see if I can persuade him.”

Upon hearing this, Zhu Qingyue raised her head.

Li Younan said somewhat seriously, ”But let me clarify, from now on everything will be arranged by me, and you must follow my instructions unconditionally.”

”Including, when I say to turn back, we turn back.”

Zhu Qingyue hurriedly wiped her tears and nodded quickly.

Li Younan gracefully walked over.

At this moment, Luo Yong was demonstrating movements to a student, saying, ”Before mastering the basic movements, don’t have too many of your own ideas. As they say, you need to stand on the shoulders of giants. Having a guide is like standing on the shoulders of giants.”

He descended from above and saw Li Younan and Zhu Qingyue had not left yet. He smiled, partly to change the subject and partly to ease the atmosphere, saying to Li Younan and Zhu Qingyue, ”You’ve been watching for a while, are you interested in rock climbing too? This path is quite simple, specifically for beginners to try out. You can have a go.”

Zhu Qingyue looked at Li Younan, but Li Younan shook his head and said, ”Forget it, all the courses here are... too easy.”

”Not challenging.”

He was serious.

He lightly dropped these words, and everyone present turned their ears and eyes to look.

Luo Yong was stunned for a moment, his expression became peculiar.
