Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

Li Younan released this video partly to let everyone know that he’s still around.

But unexpectedly, as soon as the video was posted, the speculation didn’t decrease; it became even more abstract.

”Wait a minute... I thought the streamer was gone, but now it’s clear, the streamer isn’t gone yet, he’s preparing to be gone.”

Someone in the comments section and fan groups wrote lengthy posts, likely an experienced hiking enthusiast, explaining to other clueless fans the high stakes of the ”heavy-duty crossing of Gongga Mountain” mentioned by Li Younan in the video.

This gradually made other ordinary fans realize how dangerous what Li Younan was planning to do really was.

The danger wasn’t just the route of the crossing... but also Li Younan’s personal traits.

In the eyes of ordinary fans... Li Younan is a newbie with no experience in this area.

And as long as it involves Gongga Mountain, even the relatively simple crossing routes are definitely not something a newbie can easily challenge.

Because Li Younan’s fan base has now grown to 3 million, no matter which platform or dimension you look at, this is at the level of a major streamer.

This level of following sparked a heated debate that even Li Younan himself did not anticipate.

Suddenly, the term ”hiking crossing” hit the trending topics.

Some uninformed fans searched and often found news like ”on a certain day, a certain month, a hiker got lost at a certain location... by the time they were found, the body was cold.”

Kind-hearted fans are still trying to dissuade Li Younan, while clever social media workers are already jumping on the bandwagon, with some streamers starting to hotly debate Li Younan’s choice online.

”People nowadays will do anything to get famous, such ignorance is truly fearless!”

The fact-checking streamer Xu Yusheng, who had been keeping an eye on Li Younan, was vocally critical: ”The threshold for video content consumption keeps rising, so lots of video creators have to continuously churn out more explosive videos to maintain their popularity.”

”Undoubtedly, from the point of becoming a major streamer, the well-known travel streamer Li Younan has been extremely successful. In less than a year, he went from an unknown small streamer to a big one with over 3 million followers on Douyin alone.”

”But behind the explosive growth of his follower count, it’s a process of continuously shocking the audience, gradually slipping himself into a traffic abyss.”

”I had previously questioned the possibility of his archery and skiing videos being edited and using stunt doubles. He never responded to me. I originally thought he felt guilty, laid low for a while. Honestly, if he had stopped at that, Old Xu here wouldn’t relentlessly pursue him, after all, we’re just trying to make a living, it’s understandable.”

”But unexpectedly, after lying low for a while, he resurfaces again, this time pulling another big stunt!”

”I’m boldly predicting the outcome of Li Younan’s trip for everyone.”

”Before departure, he shoots a ton of preparation videos, but when it’s time to actually go, he’ll either pull out with all sorts of excuses or simply go silent.”

”Why do I dare to say this? The main reason is... he lacks knowledge in this area way too much.”

”Anyone with hiking experience can instantly see how fake it is for a first-timer to attempt the Gongga Mountain circuit. This kind of guy is either an idiot with no respect for hiking crossings or simply a scammer who never intended to go. Anyway, Gongga Mountain is a high-difficulty challenge, and it’s a traffic magnet. As long as they gain enough traffic, the goal is achieved... Do you really think a streamer who can build a 3 million-strong following is a fool?”

Unlike before, although Li Younan didn’t respond to this video... truthfully, he wasn’t even scrolling through videos and wasn’t aware of this issue, but this questioning video went viral.

It was still his fans who were searching for keywords related to hiking in droves, and as soon as they searched, they were likely to stumble upon Xu Yusheng’s video.

Thus, more and more skepticism arose... and Li Younan remained completely unaware.

By now, the appointed time had arrived, and Li Younan arrived at the hotel to meet up with Zhu Qingyue.

ps: The past two days, I was severely sleep-deprived; to be honest, the decline in my state was very obvious, my head was muddled, and I was writing in a daze, so the quality slipped a bit. This morning, I caught up on some sleep, and I clearly felt a significant recovery in my state. While the maternity nurse took care of the baby, I pushed myself to update six thousand words.
