Divine Level Witch Doctor

Zhao Yuan had no idea about the psychological trauma the thugs suffered after he left. If he had known, he would have only spat out two words: ”Deserved it!”

Leading Lin Xue by the hand, he wound through streets and alleys for over ten minutes before arriving at the entrance of his apartment complex.

”Where exactly are we going?” Lin Xue couldn’t help but ask, seeing Zhao Yuan pulling her into the complex.

Zhao Yuan answered, ”Didn’t I tell you? I’m going to teach you how to cultivate.”

Lin Xue asked again, ”We’re going to cultivate here, in this complex?”

Zhao Yuan nodded. ”Yeah, I’m renting a room here.”

”Oh, I see.” Lin Xue felt a little nervous and hesitant. ’Following a guy back to his rented room this late at night... are we really just going to cultivate? Or is he implying something else?’

Just as her mind was racing, Zhao Yuan remembered something and said to Lin Xue, ”Wait here for a second. I need to go buy something.”

”What are you buying?” Lin Xue asked.

Zhao Yuan smiled and replied, ”Something we’ll need in a bit.”

But to Lin Xue, his smile sent her thoughts spiraling in the wrong direction. ’Is he going to buy... condoms? Does he really have ulterior motives?’

Just as her mind was racing, Zhao Yuan asked another question, ”What type do you like?”

”Huh? I... I don’t know...” Lin Xue’s face instantly flushed red again, and she grew tense and flustered.

Zhao Yuan didn’t notice this and continued to ask, ”Well, what type have you used before?”

Lin Xue felt a surge of anger well up inside her and huffed, ”What kind of person do you take me for? I’ve never used them!”

”Never?” Zhao Yuan was surprised. ’Impossible, right?’ Seeing that Lin Xue was about to get truly angry, he quickly waved his hands. ”Okay, okay, I’ll just pick one myself. Wait here, I’ll be right back!” He then spun around and bolted.

Watching his retreating back, Lin Xue puffed her cheeks angrily. She wanted to storm off in a huff, but after a moment’s hesitation, she stayed.

For some reason, a small, indescribable sense of anticipation lingered in her heart...

Zhao Yuan left and returned quickly. In just a few minutes, he was back in front of Lin Xue, carrying a bag. Unfortunately, she couldn’t see what was inside.

”Let’s go, it’s getting late. We need to hurry,” Zhao Yuan said as he led Lin Xue toward his rented room. They didn’t run into any strange neighbors today; he figured at this hour, they were all holed up at home watching TV or playing on their computers.

After entering the apartment, the first thing Zhao Yuan did was boil water.

Lin Xue, on the other hand, was very nervous after coming inside. She didn’t know whether to sit or stand. Her muscles were tense, she was biting her lip, and her heart was pounding wildly.

As Zhao Yuan bustled about with the preparations for their cultivation, he said, ”It’s going to hurt a lot at first. You’ll have to endure it. Once you get past that, it’ll be fine. You might even find it a little comfortable.”

Lin Xue’s brow furrowed as she listened. ”You sound very experienced.”

”Of course!” Zhao Yuan replied. ”I taught Liu Zhu, Wang Rongfeng, and Wu Yan. Add that to my own personal experience, and yeah, I’ve got tons of it.”

”What? You taught the three of them their first time? Wait... aren’t they guys? How could it hurt for them?” Lin Xue covered her mouth, her face a mask of disbelief.

Zhao Yuan nodded. ”It hurts for everyone. The three of them were screaming their heads off in pain in the dorm room. It got so bad that students from other dorms came over to see what was happening. Luckily, I had locked the door and drawn the curtains, so no one saw anything.”

”You... you people are just shameless!” Lin Xue, mortified and furious, was about to storm out and slam the door. But at that exact moment, Zhao Yuan dragged a large tub into the center of the room. He then took a packet of Blood Circulation Soup Powder from the bag he’d brought in, sprinkled it into the tub, and poured in the boiling water he’d prepared.

Zhao Yuan had already taken the Blood Circulation Soup Powder out of his Storage Ring and put it in the bag when he went out to buy things, so as not to scare Lin Xue by pulling it out of thin air.

A rich medicinal aroma and rolling steam immediately filled the entire apartment.

This sight made Lin Xue falter in her stride.

Zhao Yuan turned his head, pointed to the bag on the side, and said to Lin Xue, ”The swimsuit is in there. Go try it on in the bathroom.”

”A swimsuit?” Lin Xue was stunned for a moment, then it dawned on her. ”When you said you were going to buy something, you were buying a swimsuit?”

Zhao Yuan nodded. ”Yeah. For the Cultivation Technique I’m teaching you, practicing while soaking in a medicinal soup is twice as effective. Ideally, being completely naked is best, but that’s obviously not convenient, so I went to buy you a swimsuit. I didn’t expect that you’ve never used one before. Heh, I guess you don’t like swimming, huh?”

’”Heh,” my ass! How was I supposed to know you were talking about a swimsuit? I thought...’

Lin Xue’s pretty face was beet red. She couldn’t even bring herself to think about those words, let alone say them out loud. She quickly grabbed the bag, hurried into the bathroom, and shut the door to prevent Zhao Yuan from seeing her embarrassment.

’Lin Xue, oh, Lin Xue, you’re really something. How could you have misunderstood so badly?’ Hiding in the bathroom, Lin Xue patted her cheeks a couple of times. They were burning hot to the touch.

’Then again, it’s not really my fault. The things Zhao Yuan was saying, plus the fact that it’s late and we’re a guy and a girl alone together... it would’ve been hard *not* to misunderstand!’

Lin Xue still had one question. So, as she changed into the swimsuit, she asked, ”When you said it would hurt the first time, were you talking about the feeling of cultivating?”

”Yeah, what else would I have meant?” Zhao Yuan asked back, pouring another pot of boiling water into the tub.

Lin Xue replied, ”Uh, I thought... No, I thought it was about cultivating. I didn’t think about anything else. Nothing. Absolutely nothing!”

”If you didn’t, you didn’t. Why are you getting so worked up?” Zhao Yuan was completely baffled.

Having changed into the swimsuit, Lin Xue walked out of the bathroom.

Zhao Yuan turned to look, and he was instantly dumbstruck.

In her swimsuit, Lin Xue’s sizzling figure was on full display. She was ample where she should be and slender where it counted—a classic case of full breasts, a shapely rear, and a narrow waist... Combined with her sweet and adorable face, the sight was enough to stun a man, to drive him crazy!

Zhao Yuan swallowed hard, feeling a flicker of desire stirring within him.

He took a deep breath. It didn’t work. Only after taking several deep breaths did Zhao Yuan barely manage to suppress his desire.

Seeing his reaction, Lin Xue felt a secret sense of happiness and pride. She smiled and asked, ”Why are you just standing there like an idiot? Do I look good in a swimsuit?”

Zhao Yuan licked his dry lips and nodded forcefully. ”Yeah, you look great.”

”Silly!” Lin Xue rolled her eyes at him, letting out a coquettish laugh. Her expression and tone were enough to turn Zhao Yuan’s knees to jelly; he almost lost control and transformed into a werewolf on the spot.

He finally reined himself in and pointed to the tub. ”I’ve adjusted the water temperature. You should get in.”
