BTTH: Rebirth of Liu Xi

In the Little Western Heaven Realm, within the nameless mountain range, this mountain range had always been desolate and barren, with faint Spiritual Energy between heaven and earth. Though it lay within the Luo God Clan’s territory, it had never been deemed of any importance.

But now, an unusual vortex of Spiritual Energy had emerged, drawing in Spiritual Energy from an immeasurable distance. The immense vortex rapidly expanded, covering tens of thousands of meters in every direction.

It spun with incredible velocity, like the most terrifying storm. Under such ferocious rotation, even the soft and gentle Spiritual Energy turned as sharp as blades.

At the outermost edge of that storm, even a Dou Zun would likely be shredded into pieces, leaving not even ashes behind. Within the Great Thousand World, even a Sovereign expert faced the risk of death; only those at the Earth Sovereign Realm possessed the power to resist such a Spiritual Energy tempest.

At the heart of the storm stood the colossal Bodhisattva Ancient Tree. Its towering body reached ten thousand feet high, and upon its vast crown, dense streams of pure energy coiled, manifesting countless ethereal shapes.

A soft radiance of wisdom emanated from the tree, and just a glance at it brought enlightenment to the heart—an illusion of comprehending the very principles of heaven and earth.

At this moment, the Bodhisattva Ancient Tree’s deep and sprawling roots burrowed far into the continent’s core. As it absorbed the power of the earth veins, it had also sensed an unfathomable presence deep below—a vast source of Spiritual Energy, pure and ancient, as though it had crossed the ages from the Primordial Era to this very day.

Sensing the immense benefits within, the Bodhisattva Ancient Tree, driven by its simple sentience, immediately began to draw upon it. The flood of Spiritual Energy elevated its consciousness further, granting it a clarity it had never possessed before. Thoughts it had never known how to think began surfacing one after another.

Curiosity bloomed—an emotion it had never experienced. Evidently, the moment of its full Spiritual Convergence was not far away.

Of course, the Bodhisattva Ancient Tree did not forget Liu Xi. As it absorbed the overwhelming Spiritual Energy, it directed half of it into Liu Xi’s body.

Liu Xi sensed everything clearly, yet offered no resistance. The thick Spiritual Energy merged into his body, fusing with the raging spiritual dragon within him and spreading through his limbs and bones.

Instantly, his body’s affinity with Spiritual Energy surged. What once required forced guidance now flowed freely and naturally.

A spark of joy flickered within Liu Xi’s heart. Though no one had guided him after arriving in the Great Thousand World, his insight allowed him to quickly devise his own method.

Once he mastered the flow of Spiritual Energy to a certain degree, he intended to abolish his Dou Qi cultivation altogether and replace it fully with Spiritual Energy.

It was an immensely dangerous path—but also the fastest way to adapt to this world. And Liu Xi had always been one to wager his life on the edge of genius.

Meanwhile, beyond the raging storm—

A flash of thunder split across the distant sky.

In the blink of an eye, thousands of Thunder Cranes swept through the heavens, lightning coursing along their wings. Upon each crane stood a warrior clad in thunder-patterned armor, wielding long halberds that gleamed with arcs of lightning.

Their combined auras merged into one vast wave of power. The condensed will of battle formed the image of a colossal thunder beast, as the army advanced through the air in perfect unison.

At the front of this mighty force stood Luo Tianshen and his son, accompanied by three Lower Earth Sovereign elders.

”Stop!”

Luo Tianshen raised his hand. His commanding voice reverberated through heaven and earth, carried by the tremors of Spiritual Energy, echoing as if it resounded beside every ear.

At once, the thousands of Thunder Cranes halted in midair, perfectly synchronized. Not a sound of disorder was heard—proof of the army’s flawless discipline.

”What terrifying Spiritual Energy… Even a Sovereign would be torn apart within that storm. Only an Earth Sovereign could endure it.”

Luo Tianshen’s eyes were fixed on the towering tempest of energy before them, astonishment flashing in his gaze. Even from this distance, the sheer force of it made his heart tremble slightly.

”Such an immense phenomenon… This cannot be an ordinary sacred treasure. It may well be something even greater…”

He did not finish his words, but everyone around him understood. What lay above a sacred treasure could only be an artifact even Heavenly Sovereigns would covet.

The three elders beside him, who moments ago had shown traces of fear, now had that fear drowned in greed.

Only Luo Tianshen’s son remained cautious. Though gifted, he was merely a 6th Grade Sovereign—far from capable of withstanding that tempest.

”Father, if this truly is such a treasure… merely holding it may become a curse. Should we really—”

”Yi’er, say no more,” Luo Tianshen interrupted coldly. ”Whatever it is, that treasure must first fall into our hands. If the Blood God Clan takes it instead, the consequences will be dire.”

As he spoke, his expression darkened, his gaze snapping toward the horizon—where a surge of bloodthirsty aura was rapidly approaching.

”Damn it… the wolves are here.”

At his words, everyone’s faces hardened. The ”wolves” referred to the Blood God Clan, the Bone God Clan, and the Strength God Clan, of which the Blood God Clan was the most dangerous.

Sure enough, waves of Spiritual Energy churned across the skies. The clouds vanished under the pressure, and even the void trembled faintly.

Within a crimson cloud mass, tens of thousands of blood-red bats filled the heavens, their scarlet eyes glinting, their claws and fangs flashing as they painted the sky in red.

At the forefront was a massive bat nearly a thousand meters wide. Standing upon its back was a man in a blood-colored robe—none other than Blood God Clan’s Clan Leader, Xue Lingzi, accompanied by three Lower Earth Sovereigns.

Xue Lingzi’s expression was cold and sharp. Seeing that the Luo God Clan had arrived first, he showed not the slightest hesitation. Instead, he led his clan directly forward, a cruel smile tugging at his lips.

”Clan Leader Luo, I trust you’ve been well. The Blood God Clan comes uninvited—surely you won’t mind?”

”Xue Lingzi,” Luo Tianshen’s cold voice echoed, ”this is Luo God Clan territory, not Blood God land. Crawl back to where you came from. This isn’t a place for your Blood Bat Riders to strut around. Otherwise, don’t blame me for being impolite.”

A torrent of Spiritual Energy erupted around him, sweeping across the land like a tidal wave. At this moment, Luo Tianshen was at the peak of his power—his might unmatched among the Four God Clans, his strength bordering the perfection of the Earth Sovereign Realm.

Facing him head-on, Xue Lingzi merely chuckled darkly, unfazed. Alone, he might be weaker—but the Blood God Clan, Bone God Clan, and Strength God Clan always moved as one.

”Such words, Clan Leader Luo. A treasure like this belongs to whoever fate chooses. Surely Clan Leader Gu and Clan Leader Li agree?”

”You speak true, Clan Leader Xue,” a booming voice echoed, carrying feigned courtesy yet thinly veiled intent. ”Even if the treasure appeared in the Luo God Clan’s territory, should we not let it choose its master? That would better reflect your clan’s noble grace.”

Another harsh voice followed, ”The Luo God Clan is ancient and proud—surely such a trifle cannot catch your eye. Why not let us have it instead?”

Luo Tianshen’s gaze turned cold as his eyes locked onto the two speakers. Their armies loomed behind them, radiating killing intent that made the heavens tremble.

”Li Wushuang, Gu Aotian… So, the Strength God Clan and Bone God Clan also wish to wade into these muddy waters? Careful you don’t shatter your teeth trying to bite what you can’t swallow.”
