BTTH: Rebirth of Liu Xi

Within the boundless void, an enormous Azure Lotus quietly took root. Its petals swayed gently, radiating a hazy azure brilliance. From its core surged waves of deep crimson—remnants of the endless energy it had absorbed from the blood sea.

Suddenly, the massive lotus quivered. The world-shaking bloom began to contract, rumbling as it shrank smaller and smaller until it was only a few feet across. Then, with a soft boom, it dissolved into flames. Those flames gathered once more, surging inward until Liu Xi’s figure appeared amidst them. The azure fire then returned completely into his body.

This place was once the Hun Realm. Yet before the might of the Azure Lotus, even the realm fortified by countless Hun Clan Dou Saints had been refined into its most primal state—emptiness. The Hun Clan was no more, wiped out by none other than their own ”great leader.” Among the Ancient Clans, four entire bloodlines had perished at Hun Tiandi’s hands. Truly ruthless—one who showed no mercy even to his own clan.

”Phew...”

Liu Xi let out a slow breath, his gaze filled with satisfaction. This was the perfected form of the Azure Lotus. He was now one with it, capable of unleashing its full potential without flaw.

He extended both hands. In his left palm rested nine crimson lotus seeds.

They were born from refining the blood sea—each containing immense, purified energy. The power within was so vast that even Liu Xi himself felt a flicker of awe. That energy had once been chaotic and corrupted, but now, purified by the Azure Lotus, it was incomparably pure.

At his current stage, however, Liu Xi could no longer advance without stepping into the Dou Di realm. Unable to absorb more energy, the excess had condensed into these lotus seeds.

He had never refined a 9th Tier Golden Pill for direct comparison, but each seed easily surpassed a top-grade 9th Tier Mysterious Pill in quality. Consuming one could cleanse the body, refine the marrow, and elevate one’s talent. Even a Dou Saint would gain tremendous benefit.

The Bodhisattva Ancient Tree bore Bodhisattva Seeds—but Liu Xi’s blood lotus seeds were no weaker, perhaps even greater.

He smiled faintly, summoning nine jade bottles with a flicker of Dou Qi, then carefully sealed each lotus seed within one.

”These will be useful later.”

After storing the bottles, Liu Xi turned his attention to his right hand. Floating above his palm were seven smooth, lustrous jade fragments—the Ancient Jades.

He took out the final piece—the one he had obtained from the Yao Clan—and placed it alongside the others. The fragments immediately glowed, resonating with one another.

One by one, they began to shift and fit together like pieces of a puzzle, until finally—with a series of crisp clicks—they fused into a single, complete Ancient Jade.

A gentle radiance pulsed from its surface. Then, fine lines began to emerge, merging into a vast, intricate map. Though its design was simple, the scale it depicted was boundless.

At one point on the map, a luminous spot shimmered like a star—marking the location of the Ancient Emperor’s Cave Mansion.

”Finally... all eight Ancient Jades. The path to Dou Di lies before me.”

Liu Xi smiled. ”Luckily, I already knew the Ancient Emperor’s Cave Mansion was beneath Jia Nan Academy’s Inner Court. Without that knowledge, even with this map, it would be near impossible to find.”

He stored the complete jade carefully. Standing now at the peak beneath the Dou Di realm, all he lacked was the final surge of Origin Qi.

Casting one last glance toward the endless void, who would have imagined that this was once the Hun Realm? Hun Tiandi, who sought to ascend as a Dou Di, had perished with his clan, reduced to nothing but ashes in the end.

Sensing Zi Yan’s location through his Spiritual Perception, Liu Xi raised his hand and tore open the fabric of space. With a single step, he vanished into the void.

The world fell silent once more. No sound remained, no trace of life—only pure emptiness. The last essence of the ancient bloodlines had perished here, leaving behind a cleansed Dou Qi Continent—ready to welcome its new ruler.

---

In the desolate, wind-swept mountain range, fierce gales howled across the barren peaks. Towering Magical Beasts—hundreds and even thousands of feet long—dominated both land and sky, their roars shaking the heavens.

After the Gu, Lei, and Yan Clans set out, Liu Xi had led the entire Beast Region army to this place. His timing was perfect—he appeared precisely when the Hun Clan revealed its final cards. His sole purpose: to annihilate them completely.

Yet Hun Tiandi had already done the job himself—so thoroughly that not a single descendant remained.

At the ruins of the collapsed spatial gate, the air suddenly rippled. A fissure split the space apart, surging with powerful spatial fluctuations. The crack widened—and from within, Liu Xi stepped out. The rift closed slowly behind him until it vanished completely.

”Big Brother!”

”Young Master!”

”Father!”

A chorus of voices—joy mixed with worry—rang out.

Turning toward them, Liu Xi saw Zi Yan, Qing Lin, Xiao Yixian, and his adoptive daughter, Erlong, rushing toward him. Their faces were pale with concern.

Seeing their anxious expressions, Liu Xi smiled apologetically. With so many eyes watching, he restrained himself, merely saying softly: ”I’m back.”

”Young Master,” Qing Lin said quickly, ”after you entered the spatial gate, it collapsed not long after. We completely lost contact with you...”

Liu Xi nodded and gave a brief explanation. ”Hun Tiandi used the blood of countless Hun Clan descendants to activate the Devouring Spirit Eliminating Life Formation. The combined armies of the three clans—Gu Yuan included—were all sacrificed. After that, I fought Hun Tiandi, and the entire realm collapsed.”

He paused, then continued, ”Let everyone withdraw. The Hun Clan is gone—erased by Hun Tiandi himself. There’s no need for further battle. And the Ancient Jade... it’s complete.”

A faint smile curved his lips. ”The Ancient Emperor’s Cave Mansion lies beneath Jia Nan Academy. We can head there soon—to welcome the return of the Old Dragon Emperor.”

The women exchanged bewildered looks. None of them had expected the Hun Clan to fall in such a manner. They had been ready to prove the results of their training to Liu Xi—but that opportunity had vanished.

Meanwhile, in the distance, the Three Zhu Brothers, who had been quietly pretending to mind their own business, suddenly grew excited.

Recovering their Dragon Emperor had always been their lifelong wish.

After a brief discussion, the Beast Region army turned back toward their homeland. As for the Ancient Void Dragon Tribe, they followed Liu Xi directly toward the Northwest Region—their destination, the Ancient Emperor’s Cave Mansion.

---

Soaring through the void, countless Ancient Void Dragons streaked across the heavens. Liu Xi stood upon one of their broad backs, with Xiao Yixian and the others beside him.

As the winds howled around them, he mused aloud, ”With the three allied clan’s army gone, I wonder what the others are planning.”

Zi Yan responded thoughtfully, ”After the three clan’s army set out, the remaining members of the ancient clans sealed their spatial gates completely. They’re hiding deep—so deep that even our Ancient Void Dragon Tribe, skilled in spatial power, can’t easily find them.”

Liu Xi chuckled. ”Makes sense. They’re being cautious—can’t blame them. These are bloodlines that have lasted for tens of thousands of years. If they were that easy to find, they’d have been wiped out long ago.”

---

At the speed of the Ancient Void Dragons, it wasn’t long before the void passage opened once more—and below them appeared the familiar sight of Jia Nan Academy.

The sudden descent of several mighty dragons sent waves of panic through the academy. Their immense auras blanketed the skies, shaking the very foundations of the Inner Court.

In the end, Liu Xi had to personally appear to calm everyone down, including Elder Su Qian, who had already reached the high Dou Zong level.

After explaining the situation to the Great Elder, Liu Xi left most of the dragons outside while he and his closest companions descended beneath the academy—toward the depths of the magma, where the true Ancient Emperor’s Cave Mansion awaited.
