BTTH: Rebirth of Liu Xi

Liu Xi gently set Qing Lin down before stepping into the air, hands clasped behind his back as he rose to meet Yao Xiaotian eye to eye. He scanned the current clan leader from head to toe — clad in a dark robe, handsome but venomous, with greed and cruelty gleaming beneath his calm exterior.

A faint smile curved Liu Xi’s lips as he said lazily, ”Mid 1-Star Dou Saint. Not as good as your brother, but close enough. Among your kind of serpentine beasts, I suppose you’re... adequate.”

”Presumptuous!”

Yao Xiaotian roared, murderous fury blazing in his eyes. Not only had Liu Xi mentioned Yao Ming, but he’d done so with the tone of a merchant picking cabbages, judging him like a mere commodity.

The frigid aura surged violently. A Dou Saint’s Saint Domain could dominate heaven and earth — the reason no lower realm expert could stand against them. Once caught within that domain, even a Half Saint was but an ant.

And here, within the depths of the Underworld Serpent Vein, where the atmosphere was thick with chilling yin energy, Yao Xiaotian’s strength was further magnified. The environment itself bolstered him — threefold power at least.

A Dou Saint already stood near the peak of this world’s power. To further amplify such might was enough to overturn a balanced battle... but was this battle balanced at all? No — this was utter domination.

”Haha! Xian’er, step back. Leave this one to me.”

Liu Xi laughed, his aura erupting. Without hesitation or restraint, he took a single step forward. Gold radiance exploded from his body, and in the next instant, his figure expanded into a towering golden giant — nine zhang tall, shining like a miniature sun that illuminated the heavens.

Golden radiance filled the world — indestructible and absolute.

Yao Xiaotian froze. He had sensed Liu Xi’s strength earlier, but not like this. Now, faced with the overwhelming might of that golden form, he truly understood — this was a monster.

Liu Xi strode uninvited into the Saint Domain, his King Kong Glass Body utterly immune to the corrosive chill. The yin energy that could freeze the bones of saints failed to even leave a mark.

”Come, fight me!” Liu Xi roared in exhilaration, laughter echoing like thunder, rippling through the void with palpable pressure.

At this point, Yao Xiaotian had no choice but to face him. His heart pounded as he prayed for the First Elder to arrive quickly with reinforcements.

”Yellow Spring Finger!”

Even as fear gnawed at him, retreat was impossible. His expression twisted in savage determination. If he had dared plot against his brother, he still possessed that ruthless courage. His hands flashed through seals as the surrounding yin energy gathered in torrents.

A colossal stream of dark yellow light condensed before him, merging with his own Dou Qi to form a gigantic spectral finger — hundreds of meters long, rough and earthen, radiating faint annihilative might. It loomed over the sky like a pillar supporting the heavens.

”One Finger of the Spring — sever life and death!”

He thrust his hand downward, and the enormous finger rumbled through the sky. Space collapsed beneath its descent; the surrounding chasm cracked apart, mountains trembled, the world itself seemed to quake.

”Haha! Even a Tian Class Dou Technique? Let’s see it break!”

Liu Xi didn’t flinch. The golden giant charged straight through the destruction, his movement so fast it blurred through the void.

Boom!

The golden titan collided with the massive earthen finger. The impact that could destroy a city merely dimmed the golden glow upon Liu Xi’s body, while the colossal finger shattered, disintegrating into icy mist that scattered into nothing.

The shockwave of energy and yin stormed outward like a hurricane, turning the entire abyss into chaos.

”Impossible—my Yellow Spring Finger!”

Yao Xiaotian’s eyes widened in horror. Panic flashed within his serpentine pupils as his Dou Qi flared wildly. His body swelled, expanding into his true form — a thousand-zhang-long black python whose killing intent surged like a demonic god’s.

”Sealing Technique — Great Spring Seal!”

The giant serpent roared, and from the depths of the Nine Serene Spring, icy energy surged up in waves. Under Yao Xiaotian’s control, that power fused with his Dou Qi, forming an enormous black mountain-shaped seal etched with mysterious runes.

”Seal him!”

He bellowed, both hopeful and desperate, barely believing it himself — but still forcing everything into that strike. The serpent’s tail lashed, sending the mountain-like seal hurtling toward Liu Xi, tearing through space with unstoppable force.

The golden giant looked almost small beneath it. The Great Spring Seal descended with crushing might, burying him completely beneath its weight.

But before Yao Xiaotian could even exhale in relief, a roar burst out from beneath the seal. A torrent of cyan flames erupted skyward, spilling through every crevice until the mountain-sized seal shattered with a deafening crash.

The golden giant emerged again, wrapped in an inferno of azure fire — radiant, unstoppable, divine.

Yao Xiaotian’s heart clenched in dread. Even his clan’s sacred Sealing Technique had failed. Still, he refused to believe Liu Xi would dare kill him here — not within the Nine Serene Ground Python Tribe’s sacred grounds. That would mean war.

”Whoever you are,” he snarled, voice trembling between rage and fear, ”your strength commands respect. Leave now, and all can be forgiven. Otherwise, once the First Elder arrives, even with wings, you won’t escape—”

”Enough talk.”

Liu Xi’s voice was cold. He surged forward like a comet, raining punches down like meteors. Each blow, wreathed in cyan flame, smashed into the serpent’s body.

The thousand-zhang serpent howled in agony as its scales shattered one after another. The King Kong Glass Body’s strength was overwhelming — each punch burned holes through its flesh, each strike ignited its blood like molten lava.

Boom!

The colossal python crashed heavily into the ground. The golden giant descended after it, stomping down upon the serpent’s head, pinning it beneath his foot.

Then Liu Xi turned and beckoned casually. ”Qing Lin, come here. This is your second gift.”

Far off, Qing Lin’s eyes shimmered with admiration. With a light step, she leaped forward, landing gracefully beside him.

”Begin,” Liu Xi said softly. ”Subdue him. After this... there’s more.”

Before Qing Lin could respond, a furious roar shook the skies. Countless auras rushed closer, tearing through the air with deafening speed.

”Impudent! Who dares humiliate the leader of our Nine Serene Ground Python Tribe? Prepare to face our wrath!”
