BTTH: Rebirth of Liu Xi

The might of a 3-Star Dou Saint was beyond imagination—his mastery over spatial power alone was something few in the world could rival. From the Jia Ma Empire in the Northwest Region to the Beast Region’s Nine Serene Deep Ground Python Tribe, Liu Xi took less than ten days to arrive.

Within the Beast Region, in the territory of the Nine Serene Deep Ground Python Tribe, the air above the vast mountain range rippled. Light bent and distorted as three faint figures emerged from the warped space. The strangest part was that the beasts—whether flying through the sky or prowling beneath the trees—seemed blind to their presence, continuing their activities as if nothing had changed.

”Young Master, are we going straight to see Zi Yan now? It’s been so long since I last saw her... I can hardly believe she’s now the true Dragon Emperor.”

Xiao Yixian’s gentle tone carried a soft smile as her beautiful eyes reflected faint nostalgia. Having broken through to the Dou Saint realm long ago, she had been in seclusion for most of the recent events, hearing of everything that transpired from Liu Xi’s retelling. Her memories of Zi Yan still lingered on the mischievous little girl from years past.

”Yes and no,” Liu Xi replied with a light chuckle. Zi Yan’s path had diverged from the one in the original story—blessed by the old Dragon Emperor and with her overwhelming strength, suppressing the Ancient Void Dragon Tribe’s rebellion should have been effortless.

”Meeting Zi Yan is indeed one of the reasons we’re here,” he continued, his gaze turning to Qing Lin. ”But before that, we’re visiting the Nine Serene Deep Ground Python Tribe. There might be something here that can help you break through to the Dou Saint realm.”

Qing Lin’s beautiful eyes widened slightly before glimmering with delight. She hadn’t expected Liu Xi to still remember her casual wish from long ago. Her smile turned radiant as she leaned closer, clinging to his arm. ”Young Master~”

”Haha, let’s go.” Liu Xi smiled and led the two forward. Their figures flickered through the air like spirits, silent and unseen by any beast.

The Nine Serene Deep Ground Python Tribe’s true stronghold lay deep underground. Though they had countless surface branches sprawling across the continent, the dilution of their ancient bloodline was severe. While they had many Dou Zun-level experts, true high-tier powerhouses were rare, and even Dou Saints were few and far between.

With Liu Xi’s current strength, they posed no threat. And besides, the tribe was said to guard many hidden treasures—treasures that, in his opinion, should not remain buried in the dark.

The Nine Serene Ground Abyss served as the main entrance to the subterranean world—a place now under the tribe’s complete control. Their defenses seemed impenetrable to ordinary experts, but to Liu Xi, they might as well have been transparent paper.

Standing atop a nearby peak, he observed the entrance below and chuckled. ”Quite the show of vigilance—but pointless.”

With a casual wave, spatial ripples enveloped him and the two women. In the blink of an eye, they vanished and reappeared deep within the Abyss.

The underground world was vast and labyrinthine, but Liu Xi had come prepared. At his signal, Qing Lin activated her Jade Snake Three-Flower Pupils, controlling a 7th Rank Magical Beast—a lesser descendant of the Nine Serene Deep Ground Python bloodline—to guide them through the depths.

Under its lead, they traversed layer after layer of dim caverns and passed several serpentfolk settlements. After half a day of travel, they finally reached the tribe’s true base—the Underground Serene Snake Network.

This was considered the sacred land of all serpentine beasts—a place forbidden to outsiders. Even the common serpentfolk could only gaze at it from afar in reverence.

’The Nine Serene Deep Ground Python Tribe... Even now, they’re still considered one of the top three beast races of the continent. Charging in blindly would be foolish. I need to find a high-ranking insider first.’

After a moment of thought, Liu Xi’s lips curved into a knowing smirk. ’Yes... you’ll do nicely. Hm?’

Suddenly, he froze. His eyes narrowed sharply as he sensed something—a faint trace of Ancient Void Dragon bloodline within this underground domain.

Having undergone baptism by the blood of two Dragon Emperors, Liu Xi’s body carried an exceptionally pure Ancient Void Dragon essence. The resonance he felt could only mean one thing—there was another Void Dragon here.

His expression darkened, his Spiritual Power trembling with fury. Zi Yan would never send dragons into the serpent domain. That could only mean one thing—the three rebel dragons were again meddling with outsiders to undermine her rule.

”Young Master, what’s wrong?” Xiao Yixian asked softly, Dou Qi already circulating rapidly as her keen gaze swept the surroundings.

Liu Xi exhaled slowly, suppressing the killing intent boiling within him. ”Follow me,” he said in a low, controlled voice. ”It seems we might need to help Zi Yan clean up a few traitors in advance.”

Both women were startled but quickly followed behind without hesitation.

Moving soundlessly through the serpentine halls, Liu Xi led them through the heavily guarded tunnels of the Underground Serene Snake Network. Not a single sentry noticed their passing.

Finally, they arrived outside a secluded stone hall. The dragon blood resonance grew stronger—almost palpable. Concealing their presence, Liu Xi extended his Spiritual Sense, listening carefully to the voices within.

”...Commander, what is the meaning of these Nine Serene Pythons? They’ve stalled us for days—neither agreeing nor refusing. Are they trying to play both sides and squeeze us for more?”

A man’s voice rumbled, filled with suppressed rage.

”Calm yourself,” came another voice—cold and authoritative. ”Compared to the Ancient Void Dragon Tribe, the Nine Serene Deep Ground Python Tribe is insignificant. But with the chaos of the rebellion, we lost too much strength. The Dragon King’s decision to win them over is necessary.”

After a pause, the speaker added with grim determination, ”The Dragon King has promised that once this alliance succeeds, the tribe will be granted all the Ancient Heaven Serpent blood essence we’ve gathered. For a race with such diluted bloodlines, that’s an irresistible temptation.”

”Dragon King... rebellion...” Liu Xi’s eyes gleamed coldly. The Ancient Void Dragon Tribe had only one true ruler—the Dragon Emperor. Those who served under a so-called Dragon King were none other than traitors.

If they dared call Zi Yan’s rightful unification of the clan a rebellion, then these three wretched dragons truly sought death.

He smiled faintly, a killing light flashing across his eyes. ”So, the game begins again... Let’s see who gets hunted this time.”
