I just wanted you to make a movie: You made a Honkai Star Rail movie

In the office, Xia Wen looked at the anxious Ayaka, whose face was flushed red with nervousness. It was clear that Ayaka was embarrassed to speak up.

So Xia Wen didn’t urge her, but waited quietly for her to speak on her own.

Ayaka clutched her skirt, her head lowered, not daring to look at Xia Wen.

-----------------------------------

Her family’s situation was getting worse day by day with no way to stop it.

If ”Honkai: Star Rail” could be introduced by her family, leveraging its influence, the Kamisato family could gain a voice in the entertainment world and restore the family’s position.

However, this all hinges on securing the broadcasting rights for ”Honkai: Star Rail” for her country. She had secretly investigated and found that recently, a mysterious top-tier magnate had purchased the global rights for ”Honkai: Star Rail.” The amount invested was astronomical and terrifying. Even the price for a single region was beyond what the Kamisato family could bear.

Nonetheless, she wanted to give it a try. To this end, the family had decided to put everything on the line, including all cash reserves and fixed assets.

After a series of struggles, Ayaka finally spoke slowly: ”Boss, I’d like to inquire about the broadcasting rights for ’Honkai’ for my country...”

”Can the Kamisato family help operate it?”

”However, the Kamisato family cannot offer a satisfactory signing fee to the boss.”

”But we will definitely present our utmost sincerity.” After speaking, Ayaka hurriedly added: ”Moreover, the Kamisato family has many channels.”

”We have considerable experience in selling various peripherals and hosting various events.”

”I also have many commercial ideas.”

”For example, people are very interested in ’Honkai’ themed clothing. I happen to know a very skilled designer named Chiori...”

”Producing these themed outfits could certainly help the company earn a lot of money.”

”And the Kamisato family can provide all of this to the company; we just need to leverage the influence of the ’Honkai: Star Rail’ series to strengthen our family’s position.”

As if afraid that Xia Wen might refuse, Ayaka poured out all her well-prepared thoughts. After laying out what she considered her strongest arguments, she added: ”In addition, I also know many useful people who share the same ideals as everyone in the company.”

”They are also struggling without channels, and I think if I introduce them to the company, it will definitely help the boss.”

Though Ayaka felt a bit embarrassed saying this, she had no other cards to play. Seeing Xia Wen still silently watching her, she bit her lip tightly, her face red as an apple. Emotions of shame, sadness, and determination mixed in her heart.

Finally, Ayaka raised her head, tears in her eyes but with a resolute gaze, and said: ”The Kamisato family really hopes to get this opportunity. For this, I am willing to... to marry the boss!”

With her last ounce of strength, Ayaka said it out loud. She held back her urge to cry, staring fixedly at Xia Wen.

...

After a long silence.

Xia Wen sighed with a smile, looking at Ayaka, who was trying hard not to cry, as if seeing the gentle and strong young lady from the Kamisato family.

In Ayaka’s gaze, Xia Wen reached out and patted her head.

”What do you take me for? Marriage? The woman I like, I will pursue her myself.”

”And as for the signing fee... it’s nothing compared to the last two conditions you mentioned.”

”To me, the allure of those things is far greater than money.”

As Ayaka’s eyes brightened, Xia Wen smiled and said, ”I’m fine with it, but you’ll need to discuss the specifics with Ganyu.”

”Please discuss it as soon as possible, because the theme song wildfire is coming, and it will only burn once.”

”And don’t cry! You’re the young lady of the Kamisato family!”

Xia Wen’s words made Ayaka’s nose tingle, and tears fell immediately. Then, as if she had thought of something, she quickly composed herself.

”Mm!”

She nodded vigorously.

”Alright, I’ll get to work now.”

”Don’t cry. I thought you were going to say something else. With all these conditions, I thought Mihoyo had turned into an interstellar peace company.”

Waving his hand, Xia Wen gracefully walked out the door. Shaking his head, he thought to himself:

”This silly girl, I don’t know where she got this information from. I haven’t spent a dime on these channels, and we still need to cooperate with local businesses everywhere.”

”Even if we gain global fame, we need local connections.”

”Who would sell themselves to me and still thank me...”

Inside the room.

Once Xia Wen left, Ayaka sighed in relief. She felt elated, and her lost composure returned.

”The boss... is really a very kind person.”

Thinking about Xia Wen, her lips unconsciously curved into a smile.

Then she immediately perked up. ”I need to share this good news with my brother.”

”And Chiori, and everyone, let’s bring them to Mihoyo too.”

”Ah, I just don’t know if the wildfire in Belobog that everyone mentioned can be lit.”
