I just wanted you to make a movie: You made a Honkai Star Rail movie

Although she often pretended to be incredibly capable in front of others, she frequently made herself and others near her uncomfortable.

Fortunately, Xia Wen was here today.

”He must already know that I’m just an unpopular artist,” Furina thought sadly.

----------------------------------

Xia Wen raised an eyebrow and smiled. ”What I said earlier?”

”Well, that was the truth. In my eyes, you’re the world’s top opera performer, musician, and dessert connoisseur.”

Furina, who had never been so assured before, felt her eyes light up at these words.

”Ahem...”

”I, I will definitely do my best.”

Furina lifted her head and said loudly.

Soon, they arrived in the lobby, and Xia Wen introduced Furina and Ayaka to the others.

Initially anxious, Furina and Ayaka quickly blended in when they found that the young women in the office were all kind and understanding.

Especially March 7th.

Her lively and adorable nature made her the perfect guide, enthusiastically introducing the details of Mihoyo, including many filming details.

This helped the previously socially anxious Furina relax a lot.

Watching everyone getting along so well, Xia Wen couldn’t help but smile.

Furina’s arrival was truly a double blessing.

One key reason Xia Wen was particularly attentive was Furina’s experience in filming. Having one more assistant director could greatly benefit the workflow. For example, Furina could handle a significant portion of the Belobog scenes according to the script and storyboard, while Xia Wen could focus on filming the Xianzhou scenes and other important special projects, such as the ”Thousand Stars Journey” and the ”High-Cloud Quintet” special stories. Some of the original game’s side quests could also be integrated and filmed together, speeding up the progress and saving the team from daily pressure from the young women to release updates.

”When we filmed back then, we were in the adjacent studio.”

”But at that time, there were only indoor scenes, and there were no giant doomsday beasts like in the official series!”

”This kind of performance really tests our acting skills!”

March 7th proudly placed her hands on her hips, showing off her acting skills in front of Furina and Ayaka.

”Hmm, I saw that.”

”I was glued to the screen during the doomsday beast scenes in the official video.”

”I’m so envious of Little March; your performance in the series was really impressive.”

Ayaka couldn’t help but express her admiration.

Furina also nodded with some embarrassment.

They both aspired to be in the spotlight and discussed by thousands in the series. Seeing her friends’ admiration made March 7th even happier.

With an apologetic smile, March 7th said, ”Hehe, it’s not just my own achievement. The credit goes mostly to the boss, and of course, to Kafka, Stelle, and Asta. Their performances are even better than mine!”

Humbly, March 7th took out her phone and sat with her new friends.

”Look, basically, there’s a lot of discussion about the characters that appeared in the last episode!”

March 7th flipped through online comments, showing them the performance on various platforms.

Today, unexpectedly, the view count had surpassed tens of millions once again, nearing a hundred million. This level of popularity seemed remarkable to March 7th, Furina, and Ayaka.

However, if Pela, Dan Heng were here, they would notice something unusual about the popularity—it seemed suppressed by something.

But the three young women didn’t perceive anything odd and continued to review the various flattering comments.

As March 7th switched the comment sorting from ”Most Popular” to ”Newest,” the tone of comments suddenly changed.

”Editing here is garbage.”

”The actors’ expressions are stiff, not sure what they’re acting.”

”Industrial trash.”

”I didn’t see any traditional craftsmanship in this film, just forced plagiarism of industrial mass-produced junk.”

”No artistry.”

Abstract criticisms made the three women unable to stay calm.

Ayaka managed to maintain some restraint, but March 7th furrowed her brows in anger. ”What’s this? They’re blatantly trolling us.”

”They’re missing the point!”

Furina also glared at the comments angrily.

These people couldn’t provide any detailed arguments. Those criticizing the editing didn’t specify where the issues were. The ”industrial trash” accusation made Furina fume even more. After all, before the release of ”Honkai: Star Rail,” entertainment hadn’t even produced an industrially feasible series. Now that one had finally emerged, wasn’t it a good thing?

Still, they criticized it.

And ”no artistry”? Did filming a TV show require a divine title?

”Wait, March!”

Furina stopped March 7th, who was about to reply to the trolls.

”Your account is linked to your personal information. Responding yourself could escalate the situation.”

”Let me handle it.”

Furina took out her phone and opened her account. The array of secondary accounts surprised March 7th and Ayaka.

”Alright, now you can reply at will.”

Furina said proudly.

She immediately noticed their skeptical looks and quickly coughed, ”Ahem, don’t misunderstand.”

”I... I don’t have a hobby of using secondary accounts to confront others.”

”These secondary accounts are... are just for interacting with fans!”

March 7th, with narrowed eyes, said meaningfully, ”Hmm... We believe you.”

In any case, with Furina’s help, the trio logged into the secondary accounts and began replying to the trolls.

Ayaka’s responses were more diplomatic, March 7th was very direct, and Furina, with her experience, could refute the trolls’ claims with professional arguments, often breaking through their defenses.

However, their efforts seemed inadequate.

The number of trolls increased, like a tsunami. Aside from Mihoyo’s official site, protected by Silver Wolf, other platforms had been completely overrun.

New viewers saw a flood of negative reviews as their first impression.

This made the three young women increasingly anxious.
