I just wanted you to make a movie: You made a Honkai Star Rail movie

On MiHoYo’s official website, Episode 2’s view count had already surpassed 50 million.

And that’s just the first day! It was clear to anyone that the numbers would continue to rise.

At the same time, major streaming platforms, which only went live after the official site, still had a total view count exceeding 80 million.

On a certain professional forum, discussions about MiHoYo’s achievements are everywhere.

”Such achievements are a miracle for a drama series with no promotion. I feel it can be described as unprecedented; whether there will be any successors in the future is unknown.”

”Successors? Dude, unless a series with even better production and better graphics than Honkai: Star Rail comes out, do you think that’s possible?”

”Indeed, the appearance of Honkai: Star Rail is probably a unique event in the history of entertainment world.”

”I watched it; it’s amazing and breathtaking. I’m also very proud, but the problem is, this afternoon the boss had a meeting saying we need to benchmark Honkai: Star Rail and come up with a plan better than it. Damn it...”

”Haha, our boss said the same.”

”Don’t these bosses have any brains? I asked the boss for a big budget, and they gave quite a lot. The problem is they insist on inserting young celebrities, and a third of the budget is gone.”

”With the special effects level of Honkai: Star Rail, I doubt even a few billion per episode would be enough. Where does MiHoYo get so much money and dare to burn it like this?”

”And the actors, design, makeup, plot—where did MiHoYo find so many geniuses?”

”Forget it. I’ve already finished the PPT to report to the boss. It’s called: Perfect: Earth Orbit. I’ll just try to get by for today.”

...

One of the culprits behind these complaints and grievances on the professional forum is Zheng An’s AC Entertainment.

At this moment, Zheng An, with a flattering smile, is holding his phone and listening to the person on the other end of the line.

”I understand, Leader. This was indeed my oversight.”

”I will make up for it immediately.”

”I understand.”

After hanging up the phone, Zheng An’s flattering smile immediately turned grim.

”Damn it!”

He slammed the phone heavily on the ground.

To others, his position is that of the head of the AC platform, but the problem is that he also has superiors.

And due to the unexpected success of MiHoYo’s Honkai: Star Rail, a large amount of traffic has shifted from various major platforms, especially from AC, to MiHoYo’s official website.

Such a situation had never occurred before.

Xia Wen insisted on first broadcasting on the official website before diverting to other platforms.

”What a vicious strategy.”

Zheng An gritted his teeth, thinking. If Honkai: Star Rail were just an ordinary series, this move by Xia Wen would undoubtedly be self-destructive.

But unfortunately, Honkai: Star Rail is too strong. After the second episode aired this week, the traffic for the Honkai: Star Rail series on his platform’s side kept decreasing, causing greater losses.

Because those who watched the series would immediately fall in love with it. Next time, if they want to watch ahead, they would rush to MiHoYo’s official website, and this is draining the platform’s traffic.

AC, which has been dominating for so many years, has never seen such a situation.

What’s even more frustrating is that Zheng An has no way to handle it.

Block Honkai: Star Rail?

It could have been done before the series went live, but now it’s impossible.

With the number of loyal fans accumulated by Honkai: Star Rail in just two episodes, it’s estimated that it has already exceeded ten million. With this group of people, such a method is useless.

Even now, Honkai: Star Rail has huge traffic on the their own platform.

”Damn MiHoYo.”

Zheng An sat dejectedly on the sofa. He had been instructed to resolve this situation.

If he couldn’t solve it, he himself would be the one to face the consequences.

But begging MiHoYo?

It’s useless. MiHoYo will definitely stick to the official website first release principle.

For a moment, Zheng An fell into a frenzy of regret, regretting not nipping the problem in the bud before it started.

...

The next day, at MiHoYo Entertainment.

The two major studios are still bustling with activity.

As summer approaches, the weather is getting hotter.

Xia Wen bought a large freezer and placed it nearby, filled with various desserts and ice creams.

However, by the end of the morning, most of the ice cream and popsicles in the freezer had been eaten.

During the break, everyone gathered around the freezer again, and by the time Xia Wen arrived, there was nothing left.

”Boss, why are you staring at us...”

March 7th, holding an ice cream, warily looked at Xia Wen.

Meanwhile, Stelle, with a big mouth, had swallowed an entire popsicle in one bite and gave Xia Wen a silly grin.

”Just have half.”

Xia Wen wiped his sweat and made a solemn promise.

”Humph! Not letting you have any.”

”Who told you to make everyone cry so sadly yesterday.”

”Stelle, let’s go quickly, so the bad boss doesn’t come and forcibly take away the poor employees’ afternoon treats!”

March 7th snorted deliberately and pulled Stelle to the side.

”Tch, stingy.”

Xia Wen pouted but was already planning to buy three freezers full of ice cream.

He glanced around, Furina and Himeko were together and were almost finished eating.

Bronya and Seele were sharing strawberry ice cream.

Fu Xuan...

Hiss... His shoulder still hasn’t fully recovered.

After scanning the area, Xia Wen realized there didn’t seem to be any opportunities.

”I’ll buy three freezers of ice cream later.”

Just as Xia Wen finished thinking this, a soft voice came from behind.

”B-B-Boss.”

Hearing the voice, Xia Wen turned in confusion.

He saw Ganyu standing in front of him with a red face, fidgeting, holding a half-eaten ice cream.

”Boss, if you don’t mind, please have mine.”

Ganyu’s face was flushed red, head lowered, and she whispered like a mosquito.

”Ah, these ungrateful wolves.”

”It’s still my good sister who sent me a good secretary.”

Xia Wen was deeply moved and didn’t stand on ceremony.

Indeed, the weather was too hot, and the preparation wasn’t adequate. He would definitely learn from the experience next time.

With that thought, Xia Wen took the ice cream and took a small bite.

Feeling the coolness of the ice cream, his brain, which had been dazed from the heat, was refreshed.

He immediately felt that the world in front of him was clear.

”Ah... Alright, you can eat the rest.”

”Ganyu is the best! Remember to find a place to take a nap after eating.”

Xia Wen said with a smile and handed the ice cream back to Ganyu.

Then, he turned and left.

Because it was almost time, he had to tell everyone about a new surprise.

Preparations are about to begin for broadcasting!

As for Ganyu, she was standing in place, holding the ice cream unconsciously, her face flushed, swaying slightly.

Her little head was completely immersed in her own world.
