”Oh dear~ it seems like sister is drunk.”

Ningguang snuggles into Xia Wen’s embrace and tightens her arms around him.

”Ah?”

----------------------------------

Because there were both alcoholic drinks and non-alcoholic beverages on the table, Xia Wen also forgot that what he poured for Ningguang was a non-alcoholic drink.

Upon hearing this, he could only stretch out his hand and lift Ningguang up in a princess carry.

”There’s no helping it. You all can eat first; I’ll take my sister to rest.”

Xia Wen gave a helpless smile, then looked at Ningguang, who was ’asleep’ in his arms, and muttered in frustration, ”Next time, don’t drink alcohol, okay?”

Black Swan and Kafka exchanged glances.

Can you get drunk from a non-alcoholic drink?

However, both knew that it wasn’t important.

The two older sisters, always composed, shared a wry smile.

The outcome was decided.

In this round, Ningguang had won decisively.

The attack from the two in front had completely failed after Ningguang was picked up by Xia Wen.

”Sigh, go ahead~ But remember, don’t let your sister drink ’alcohol’ next time.”

Kafka sighed with some regret, emphasizing the word ’alcohol.’

”You don’t need to say it; I’ll be careful.”

Xia Wen replied, turning to leave.

At the moment of turning, Black Swan and Kafka saw Ningguang in Xia Wen’s arms.

Ningguang showed no signs of drunkenness.

At that moment, she was looking at the two with a smug expression.

Her eyes were clear, and her lips were curved into a victorious smile.

”This woman... She’s a formidable opponent.”

Black Swan and Kafka exchanged a look.

From each other’s eyes, they saw a strong sense of determination.

...

In the office.

Xia Wen was carefully preparing to place Ningguang on the small bed where he usually rests.

However, Ningguang’s hands were like chains, tightly holding him.

Moreover, she was squirming restlessly in his arms.

She had her arms around Xia Wen’s neck, her head tilted back, rubbing against his cheek.

She was murmuring Xia Wen’s name.

”Damn.”

”Dear sister, stop squirming.”

”If you keep moving, I won’t be able to hold on.”

Xia Wen gritted his teeth, feeling like his arm was about to be twisted off by Ningguang.

”Ha ha, alright, I’m not teasing you anymore.”

Ningguang, who was ’asleep’ in his arms, heard this and curved her lips into a smile as she opened her eyes.

Seeing that there was no trace of drunkenness in Ningguang’s eyes, Xia Wen immediately understood.

”Alright, sister.”

”You’re pretending to be drunk, aren’t you?”

Xia Wen rolled his eyes and immediately felt a surge of irritation.

Why do these older sisters all act the same?

Seeing the angry Xia Wen, Ningguang clung to his neck and brought her cheek close to his.

She whispered, ”Good little Wen~ Sister hasn’t seen you for a long time.”

”Since you joined Mihoyo, you haven’t even sent a message to sister in a day.”

”And besides, there are beautiful women around you just like me. Who knows if you might forget about sister someday~”

Her words revealed a hint of grievance.

From the moment he met Ningguang until now, Xia Wen had never seen his sister show such an expression.

”This...”

”Don’t worry, how could I forget my dear sister?”

”And Mihoyo might need you to make an appearance in the future.”

Xia Wen promised earnestly, ”And when that time comes, I’ll definitely make a great PV for you and give you plenty of roles!”

Hearing Xia Wen say this, although Ningguang wasn’t entirely convinced, she was still very happy.

”At least you know how to comfort me.”

Satisfied, Ningguang finally released her hold.

She then moved to the desk, poured two glasses of water, and said:

”Alright, I actually came to find you today to tell you some good news.”

”This trip abroad was mainly to help you acquire some useful enterprises.”

”The results were very satisfactory. Now, Mihoyo has the capability to have simultaneous global releases.”

Huh? Already?

Xia Wen had considered this before but hadn’t found a good solution.

After all, the global market is very important. With the quality of ”Honkai: Star Rail,” the internal market is still no problem.

More importantly, the story content full of elements from various countries could have a huge cultural impact.

Such an impact could be exchanged for anything.

Money is the least of concerns.

But the premise is that it has to be able to enter the market.

Unexpectedly, Ningguang solved such a problem with ease.

”Now it’s good.”

”The plot of Belobog can now be released globally.”

”By the way, Ningguang, what exactly does our family do?”

Xia Wen, who hadn’t thoroughly understood the situation, couldn’t help but ask.

Unfortunately, previous searches for information about Ningguang had returned unrelated results, and there was nothing about Ningguang’s company.

There was also nothing on online about Ningguang.

When he had asked her directly, she only mentioned doing a small business.

Seeing this now, it seemed like he had been too naïve.

”Oh, we just sell a few things casually.”

”Didn’t I tell you that a long time ago?”

Ningguang said with a smile.

”Ahem, a small business means casually establishing global channels and acquiring a bunch of companies?”

Xia Wen, who was drinking water, choked and replied speechlessly, ”Never mind. If you don’t want to tell me, it’s okay. Anyway, Mihoyo is making a lot of money now.”

”In the future, you don’t need to help me like this. If you need money, just come to me.”

Hearing Xia Wen’s words, Ningguang’s smile grew even brighter.

These words warmed her heart.

”I’m satisfied with this thought.”

”Alright, Wen, you go ahead and be busy. I’ll rest here for a while.”

Ningguang stretched lazily, exposing her curves in front of Xia Wen.

The beautiful scene was laid out for Xia Wen to see.

Noticing her brother’s gaze, Ningguang’s lips curved slightly.

”Alright, sister. Rest now. I’ll get back to work.”

Exhaling a breath, Xia Wen shifted his gaze and left the office.

After Xia Wen left, Ningguang lay down on the bed, sniffing Xia Wen’s scent.

But her mind was on other matters.
