I just wanted you to make a movie: You made a Honkai Star Rail movie

The aged Bernard said solemnly:

”Space can be traversed!”

”But time! Is beyond reach!”

--------------------------------

The last two sentences left Stelle stunned, unable to find a way to resolve this matter.

”You can either deceive him or tell him the truth.”

”But I have one more thing to say.”

”Even if he waits for Lesley to return and they are still in love, Lesley will witness his death in her youth and then, just like Rocky, will spend the rest of her life in gloom.”

”Alright, I leave the choice to you.”

Bernard said this, turned around, and sighed deeply.

Meanwhile, Stelle looked helplessly into the distance.

Not far away, Rocky was staring blankly at a photo in his hand, perhaps filled with images of Lesley in his mind.

For a moment, the three people in the scene occupied the entire screen.

There was no background music.

Only the noise of the space station operating and the vast starry sky above the bridge.

...

Damn, so all the sweetness before was just to hide a knife, right!?

I’m devastated! Family, I’m totally devastated!

Damn it, I want to slice you into pieces, MiHoYo!

Why not let them be together? I just can’t understand!

Boohoo, my eyes are already red from crying! MiHoYo, you have no heart!

Is there any Time God who can come and save us!?

...

That line about the unbridgeable gap in time made countless viewers devastated.

Because they also knew it was an insurmountable chasm.

”Wah...”

”Why, why give such a cruel ending to two people who love each other?”

Furina wiped her tears, her big eyes full of sorrow.

Just thinking about one person in the future and one in the present,

Even if they meet again, they can only watch their loved one die, and ultimately, both will end their lives in gloom.

Furina’s heart was breaking.

”Furina, don’t cry.”

Beside Furina, Ayaka was trying to console her, though even her eyes were red, and she was occasionally sniffling.

”That bad boss must be doing it on purpose.”

Fu Xuan’s expression was grim, her small fists clenched tightly, but her eyes were also red.

In the back row, Jing Yuan also looked melancholic, occasionally sighing.

March 7th’s eyes were also red, she was struggling to keep the tears from falling.

”Ugh... I just don’t know how to tell Rocky about this.”

”What will Rocky’s reaction be?”

Kafka pursed her lips, her gaze melancholic.

...

After a moment of silence, Stelle finally made a decision.

This segment, Xia Wen thought about it for a long time and ultimately decided to go with the ending by telling Rocky the truth.

Because in the game’s story, regardless of the ending, Rocky would eventually leave the space station to chase his love, Lesley.

So...

Let it be shown, show this unwavering romance to the end!

As Stelle approached, everyone’s hearts were also tensed.

Just by putting themselves in the perspectives of the two, they were already deeply pained.

Pure love warriors fell one after another, unable to rise again. They couldn’t imagine the upcoming plot and Rocky’s reaction.

The gap in time between now and the future, can love truly cross time?

Contrary to what was expected, Rocky listened calmly to Stelle’s story and replied in a similar calm way:

”So, it’s unrealistic to hope for her return. Even if she leaves there and crosses the starquake by any chance, by that time, I’ll already be an old man.”

”Spending a lifetime waiting for someone, enduring endless loneliness and longing.”

”To be honest, buddy, you don’t think I’m that naïve, do you?”

Rocky, at this moment, suddenly laughed: ”Haha! Of course I won’t wait for her! I won’t wait!”

The sudden twist caught everyone by surprise, a dangerous premonition surged.

Could Rocky be a scumbag?

But the next moment Rocky looked up at Stelle.

”I won’t wait. I’m going to chase her! I’m going to... chase against time!

Since her time-space curve has turned into a starquake, I’ll cross this great starquake!

Maybe it will take me decades to find her, for whom just a month has passed, but at least we’ll be in sync, which is better than sitting idly by!”

At that moment, Rocky’s eyes sparkled.

He looked at Stelle, but was actually not looking at her.

The light in his eyes was that of Lesley’s vision, or the starry sky, and Lesley herself.

”No matter what, I’m going to set off. I’ll tell my master I’m leaving.

As a researcher who has never roamed the stars, it would be laughable.

I want to see the starry sky that Lesley saw. I want to catch up with her... and then tell her all the scenery along the way.”

Rocky smiled very happily.

From all the scenes of Rocky in this episode, this was the happiest he had ever smiled.

Before leaving, Rocky gave Stelle the last poem he wrote at the Herta Space Station.

The poem was titled Goodbye, Herta Space Station.

[Darkness lines up in the distance. In an almost cruel way.]

To the Faint Star.

This seemed like a beautiful ending.

But in reality, viewers who understood the worldview knew, overcoming the barrier of time is not so easy. Not to mention the abnormal dangers along the way, just the long voyage through the starry space and the time spent and whether Rocky can survive to see Lesley is a question.

In the empty universe, a lone spacecraft slowly traveled, inside was the already deceased Rocky and his last wish.

On the other side, Lesley, for who only a few months or a year or two had passed, checked her communicator occasionally, still waiting for Rocky’s reply.

Perhaps she also started to become unsure, starting to doubt if Rocky no longer liked her.

Or she might have discovered the anomalies, found the time difference, and eventually decided, like Rocky, to return to the space station and then embarked on the journey.

In the game, there were responses from the two, looking like they were already together, which reassured the players.

But here, viewers didn’t know this. In their minds, the ending of [To The Faint Star] was the kind that couldn’t be deeply thought about. Just thinking deeply, various tragic endings like sinking into the space, coming across the swarm disaster or getting caught in some space turbulence would flood their minds, again delivering a heavy blow.
