Originally, they thought the new boss would scoff at their ideals.

”Boss...”

”If you’re just trying to make us happy, there’s no need.”

March 7th turned her head away, mumbling.

Xia Wen chuckled lightly.

He held up three fingers.

”I’m not joking.”

”First: I’ve acquired a top-tier special effects company that can produce all things from the fantasy world with high quality and stability, even an entirely new fictional world!”

”Second: I happen to have a story in mind about the meaning of existence, though words alone are not enough to prove it.”

”Third: And most importantly, I’m not just trying to make you happy. I want to invite you to join this production.”

As Xia Wen spoke, his three fingers gradually curled into a fist. Then, he placed his hand on his briefcase and took out a thick stack of scripts, placing them in front of him.

After doing all this, he casually leaned against the sofa and said, ”This grand production is called Honkai: Star Rail!”

The three women looked at the script placed in front of Xia Wen.

They knew this was the script.

It was labeled Honkai: Star Rail.

Perhaps because of Xia Wen’s sincere words just now, the previously gloomy expressions of the three began to fill with hope.

”Honkai: Star Rail?”

Himeko said as she took the script.

Since there was only one copy, Kafka and March 7th had to crowd around Himeko.

Xia Wen did not disturb them any further. Instead, he smiled slightly and left the space for them, deciding to take a walk around the company.

...

Inside the office, a deep silence fell.

Himeko, Kafka, and March 7th were all engrossed in the script Xia Wen had provided.

They gradually became captivated by it.

Himeko’s eyes sparkled with excitement and delight.

Kafka appeared animated, as if she had seen hope.

March 7th was completely absorbed in the script.

The script, though thick, only covered the Herta Space Station and Belobog story arcs.

It was similar to the game, but with many more detailed descriptions and additions, making it more suitable for filming.

In the game, due to space constraints, Mihoyo focused mainly on the main storyline, with many exciting stories and settings hidden in the text.

But the series didn’t have such restrictions.

The script provided by the system included detailed explanations of various destinies and descriptions of different factions, ensuring that the viewer could easily immerse themselves in it.

Moreover, excellent side stories received ample script coverage and were perfectly integrated into the main storyline.

”These descriptions of destinies...”

”They’re perfect.”

After reading, Himeko set the script down and took a deep breath. ”It’s as if it aligns perfectly with the ideals we have in our minds.”

”It’s truly perfect for us.”

Kafka picked up the script again, flipping through it with an uncontrollable smile.

”But why does the script mention our names directly?”

March 7th suddenly asked, with a curious and inquisitive look, but then laughed foolishly. ”Hehe! I didn’t expect my role to be so significant!”

Himeko thought for a moment and said with a smile, ”Maybe it was planned all along.”

”It seems like the little guy had set his sights on us a long time ago.”

Kafka pondered and said, ”That’s why preparations were made in advance, and roles were assigned to us.”

”Little guy!?”

Himeko facepalmed and said helplessly, ”Kafka, don’t refer to the boss like that.”

”Oh~”

Kafka explained with a light laugh, ”It slipped out. I couldn’t help it; as soon as I saw the boss, I couldn’t suppress the urge to tease him.”

”You should stop playing with people, Kafka!”

March 7th reminded her.

”I’ll try.”

Kafka chuckled.

”But such a perfect script and such a grand background...”

”Is it really possible to bring it to life?”

Himeko frowned slightly.

Kafka and March 7th felt a bit apprehensive. After all, current TV shows have decent special effects, but clearly, for such a grand world, normal effects won’t suffice.

Just then, there was a knock on the door.

”Ladies, are you satisfied with the script?”

Xia Wen leaned against the doorframe, smiling at the three.

”Very satisfied!”

Himeko replied firmly.

”By the way, who wrote this script?”

Kafka asked with a look of exploration and curiosity. ”Such a script seems to be written directly from our hearts.”

”I did.”

Xia Wen answered with a faint smile.

With the confirmed answer, the three’s eyes lit up.

It was an indescribable feeling—a sense of meeting a kindred spirit.

They hadn’t expected that someone in this world could understand them so well.

”Finally, we’ve found the right boss~”

Kafka winked at Xia Wen.

”But to realize such a grand world view and so many exciting stories...”

”Regarding the filming, boss, have you considered it?”

Kafka changed the topic and asked earnestly.

”Of course.”

Xia Wen smiled confidently.

He walked into the room, leaned back on the sofa, and said firmly:

”You don’t need to worry about the special effects.”

”Of course, words alone are not enough.”

”So, I plan to film a short teaser before we start the main production.”

”It will help us get familiar with each other and allow you to see our capabilities.”

”This will make the subsequent filming more efficient.”

Xia Wen’s words piqued their curiosity.

”A teaser?”

”What kind of teaser?”

The three asked in unison.
