Abandoned Woman Busy Farming

Chapter 2758: Chapter 2759: Like Riding a Roller Coaster

Traveling at sea for a long time is both boring and tedious, so everyone either practices martial arts or studies medicine, desperately trying to find something to do.

The Prince of Fusang insisted on learning medicine from Bai Ruozhu, saying he didn’t need to formally become a student; he could just audit the classes.

However, Jiang Yichun was still annoyed with him, dragging him away several times with a stern face, saying, ”Your Highness, you’d better return to your own ship; the Fusang official ship cannot go a day without its master.”

”There are officials watching over it; we don’t have such strict rules in Fusang.” The prince was indifferent.

”Well, you can’t stay here. My wife is a woman, and it’s inappropriate for you to crowd around.” Jiang Yichun bluntly stated.

The prince shamelessly said, ”That’s why I want to take Bai as my master. Once a master, always a master, and then it won’t be inconvenient.”

”Do you think my wife accepts students casually?” Jiang Yichun’s face turned cold. ”In this case, I can only personally escort Your Highness back to your official ship.”

The prince realized he was angry and quickly pleaded, ”Alright, alright, I’ll just play on my own, okay?”

Only then did Jiang Yichun let him go.

In the following two days, the Prince of Fusang either practiced the samurai sword technique on the deck or shot arrows at the seabirds above, most of which fell into the sea, never to be retrieved.

Occasionally, when one fell onto the ship, he would excitedly announce that they’d have meat for dinner.

Princess Ya’an seemed to have noticed something and kept her distance from him. Seeing his cheerful and somewhat mischievous nature, she was quite relieved; as long as he was happy.

”Look, what a big bird!” The Prince of Fusang suddenly shouted in the evening and grabbed a bow and arrow, fully drawing the bow to shoot at the large bird in the sky.

A miserable cry rang out, followed by something falling onto the ship with a loud thud.

Bai Ruozhu, who was eating in the ship cabin, heard the noise and immediately had a bad feeling, rushing to the deck.

”Your Highness, be careful; this might be a demon!” A guard stood in front of the prince.

Seeing the massive bird, Bai Ruozhu immediately thought of the Golden Wings Clan and quickly shouted for the government soldiers about to rush forward to stop.

”No one move, let me check first.” She went over to inspect and found it was indeed a birdman. Its wings resembled those of the Golden Wings Clan but were not exactly the same.

Coupled with the strange patterns on this person’s face, it looked more like a demon, making her uncertain.

However, thinking that Sibao and Gong Feng were also considered demons but did not necessarily harm people, she couldn’t just let him die like that, could she?

An arrow was lodged in his chest, not directly hitting the heart, but it was a severe wound. Coupled with the high fall, he was seriously injured and remained unconscious.

”Bai, watch out!” The prince wanted to rush over to protect Bai Ruozhu, but Jiang Yichun came out of the ship cabin and grabbed him, tossing him aside.

He walked over and asked, ”Golden Wings Clan?”

”Not sure, let me save this person first.” Bai Ruozhu said as she took out her silver needle, applied it near the wound, and then used the dagger to pry out the arrowhead.

Because she controlled the bleeding, there wasn’t a scene of blood spurting everywhere.

As night fell, Yizi immediately brought people to light the lamps.

Bai Ruozhu had not finished her treatment when they heard a whistling sound from the sky. Large birds circled above the ship, and suddenly, a birdman swooped down and grabbed the prince, flying into the sky with him.

”That’s definitely a move from the Golden Wings Clan.” Bai Ruozhu said with dark lines across her forehead.

The Fusang guards were frantic, but they couldn’t fly, and couldn’t reach the birdmen in the sky. If they used the bows and arrows, would their Highness fall to his death?

”Demon, let go of His Highness, or you won’t escape!” A foolish guard shouted.

The Golden Wings Clan members in the sky laughed, ”If we want to run, can you catch us?”

Someone muttered, ”Only that fool Ling Bo could get hit. Why is he so unlucky?”

Ling Bo was likely the Golden Wings Clan member who fell. Bai Ruozhu found it strange; he was indeed somewhat different from the other Golden Wings Clan members.

Could it be... she looked at Jiang Yichun, ”They came out to search for their children scattered long ago, right?”

Jiang Yichun glanced at Ling Bo, ”It should be him.”

The birdman in the sky grabbed the prince, swinging him up and down, more thrilling than a roller coaster, causing the prince to scream continuously, his cries echoing through the night.

”Bai, please find a way to save His Highness, or he won’t survive this.” A guard knelt before Bai Ruozhu.

Before Bai Ruozhu could speak, Jiang Yichun coldly said, ”Who asked him to shoot recklessly? A life for a life seems fair.”

The guard was on the verge of tears. Another birdman swooped down and snatched a sailor, taking him into the sky.

”My lord, save me!” The sailor was scared to death.

Bai Ruozhu was speechless. It’s okay if you capture the prince, but why take my people?

She stood up and shouted loudly towards the sky, ”Friends from the Golden Wings Clan, is Chief Luohe nearby?”

The sky was devoid of Chief Luohe; otherwise, they wouldn’t act against them.

The birdmen were a little surprised, and someone asked, ”How do you know our chief?”

”I’ve been a guest on your island. I am Bai Ruozhu from the Jiuli Clan.” She proclaimed loudly.

A birdman exclaimed excitedly, ”I’ve seen her. I’ll go check.”

A young birdman descended, scaring the people on the deck into hiding frantically. To ordinary people, the Golden Wings Clan all looked like demons.

The prince’s guards wanted to act, but Bai Ruozhu stopped them, ”If you don’t want your Highness to be harmed, don’t act rashly!”

The guards quickly retreated to the side.

”Madam Bai, it really is you!” The young man exclaimed happily, ”We met on the island; I was not far from you at the banquet. My name is Bei Gui.”

Bai Ruozhu clasped her hands in greeting, although she didn’t actually remember him.

”The person you’ve captured is the Prince of Fusang. He mistook your clan member for a giant eagle and didn’t mean to harm him. I hope you can release him for my sake, and I will do my best to treat your clan member and compensate for your losses.”

Bei Gui waved his hand, ”It seems to be a misunderstanding. The chief said you helped us greatly, and if we met you again, we should repay you. How could we be enemies?”

He whistled and shouted to the sky, ”It’s Madam Bai, quickly bring them down.”

The birdmen descended one by one onto the deck, and the prince was also placed back on the deck. As soon as his feet touched the ground and the feeling of weightlessness disappeared, he scrambled up, running to the side to vomit profusely.

Just like someone who has gotten off a roller coaster and started retching immediately.

The prince vomited until he was dry heaving, his face pale, amusing Bai Ruozhu and the others.

Jiang Yichun said unkindly, ”Serves you right. Let’s see if you’ll act reckless in the future.”

The birdmen collectively saluted, and Bai Ruozhu returned the gesture with a smile, then said to the people on the boat, ”Everyone, don’t be afraid. These are members of the Golden Wings Clan, my friends, not demons, and they won’t harm anyone.”

The people on the deck relaxed a bit finally, but no one dared to approach.
