Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

After taking two steps, the squad leader suddenly heard an instructor’s deep voice saying to Ye Jian, ”Do you want to stay or leave? This is your last chance.”

Last chance…

The squad leader stumbled. Last chance? Was Captain Lei very unhappy with Ye Jian’s training?

Ye Jian, she… The squad leader turned her head and looked at Ye Jian again. Just as she turned her head, a cold and sharp gaze swept over. An instructor asked the squad leader, ”Is there anything else?”

”It’s nothing. Instructor Zheng, thank you for your hard work.” The squad leader, whose heart was pounding, shook her head and quickened her pace.

It was up to Ye Jian to decide. As the squad leader, she was helpless.

This was her last chance. Alas, it seemed that Captain Lei had been paying attention to Ye Jian’s progress. As the training increased, the difficulty would increase. Captain Lei was making the last ’save’ to see if Ye Jian was qualified to stay. If not, there would be no more chances for Ye Jian.

Nowadays, not only did one have to have strong comprehensive abilities, but one also needed to learn how to act. With this act, the squad leader believed that the male instructors were here to find trouble with Ye Jian.

The squad leader left. Before she left, her eyes were filled with pity. If Ye Jian fell into the hands of the male soldiers, she would either die or lose a layer of skin. Alas…

However, as the squad leader, she had no choice. Captain Lei had personally given the order to ’take care’ of Ye Jian, who was from the army but was transferred to the air force. She wanted to put in a good word for Ye Jian… But after seeing Ye Jian’s usual expression, she couldn’t find anything good to say.

She would see if the male soldiers could fix her up.

If Ye Jian could really improve her comprehensive ability, a little suffering was alright. How could a soldier not suffer?

It depended on whether Ye Jian could hold on.

The squad leader, who kept looking back, finally left. In the squad leader’s eyes, Small Head’s back view appeared fierce and tough. In actual fact, Small Head was laughing happily.

Small Head’s young and tanned face was filled with a bright smile. ”How is it? I successfully lured your squad leader away! In the future, we’ll pick on the female soldier class from time to time and emphasize on your mistakes. Hence, in the future, you have to have more problems during your training like before. That way, we’ll have an excuse to train you alone.

”It’s Captain Lei’s idea. He wants you to train without worry.”

During the day, Ye Jian would make mistakes from time to time. The instructor would then summarize Ye Jian’s problems. Then, there would be a reason to force Ye Jian to stay behind.

Not bad, not bad. It was a good idea.

In the female soldiers’ dormitory, the squad leader went back and found the deputy squad leader. The two of them stood in the corridor outside and talked. The squad leader said, ”Ye Jian has been targeted by the male instructors. They said that she has made too many mistakes. In the future, they’ll give her two hours of training at night. This will only end when she improves.

”Two hours in the morning and two hours at night. Ye Jian will have four more hours of training than us every day. She’s going to suffer.”

”She will have four more hours of training time than us every day? Instructor Luo and the rest will be leading her?” The deputy squad leader didn’t know that the male instructors would give Ye Jian training alone. Hearing that, she was very surprised. ”Does Ye Jian know? Can she persevere?”

The squad leader said, ”She didn’t know before, but she should know now. It’s a good thing to let her suffer. If all the instructors turn a blind eye to Ye Jian’s failure, it’ll really harm Ye Jian.

”Before I left, Instructor Luo said that this is her last chance. Whether Ye Jian can stay or not will depend on the training of Instructor Luo and the rest.”
