Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Ye Jian, who was undergoing off-plane training, took three steps away from the simulation plane platform. Captain Lei raised his head and looked at Ye Jian, who was already leaving the plane. He didn’t plan to tell Ye Jian that the female soldier class had left for training.

20 kilometers of weighted cross-country was not a problem for Ye Jian. As a special forces soldier from the army, weighted cross-country was a common thing.

Currently, what Ye Jian needed to improve the most was parachute training. There was still a week before the female soldier class needed to undergo night airborne training. Ye Jian, who had become a mid-ranger, needed to complete it in advance so that she could follow the female soldiers’ night airborne training a week later.

Whether Ye Jian could complete the night airborne training with the female soldiers a week later or not, Captain Lei was quite confident in her. He took over Ye Jian’s training record from the male soldier, Small Head. He flipped through it from the first page and looked through it carefully. From this, he could tell how hard Ye Jian had worked and how much she had improved.

Small Head was convinced by Ye Jian now. ”Her speed of improvement is like a fast-forwarding machine. She’s improving by leaps and bounds every day. She’s only been training for less than two months, but she looks like a veteran now. I tremble in fear when I see her from the side. If I hadn’t seen her train for more than half a month, I would’ve suspected that she was actually an airborne soldier.

”Amazing, she’s really amazing! She’s number one among the 15 female soldiers.”

The rustling sound of pages being turned could be heard. Captain Lei, who started reading the second page, smiled and said, ”Aren’t you afraid at all?”

From the records, her progress was indeed as fast as what Small Head said. He could see her changing day by day and improving day by day. She was good at enduring hardships and had talent.

Especially when her muscle memory was formed. She was faster than other people. That was why her improvement was exceptionally fast.

Small Head wasn’t the only one who felt frightened when he saw this. Captain Lei felt the same way when he saw her daily records.

He raised his head and looked at Ye Jian’s training. He then glanced at Captain Lei, who was looking at the record book. Smiling, he asked, ”Afraid? What should I be afraid of?”

”She’s improving so quickly. Aren’t you afraid that she’ll surpass you one day?” Captain Lei wasn’t joking. He asked seriously, ”Aren’t you afraid of being surpassed by a female soldier with no foundation?”

The squad leader, who had never thought of this before, was stunned. He stared at the figure of the female soldier training above and quickly recalled the half a month he had been leading the team for training. Was he afraid…? He was a little scared now!

”It’s not scary to be surpassed by her. What’s scary is that none of us realized that she would surpass us one day,” Captain Lei said in a low voice. There was a serious and cold expression on his face. ”She’s already working so hard to complete two training sessions in one day. It looks like we have to increase our training too.”

Every day, after Ye Jian completed the female soldier training, she would be brought to the male soldiers’ training base by Captain Lei to complete another training. Through the training on both sides, they would close the distance between Ye Jian and the female soldiers.

In less than two months, Ye Jian, who had zero foundation, completed all the parachute landing training and reached the qualification level. Now, she just had to strengthen her training, and it was harder than before. However, they had never heard Ye Jian say that it was hard. She was able to persevere every day and complete the missions assigned to her every day.

Were they afraid?

They were afraid!

Even Captain Lei was afraid!
