Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

The male soldiers increased their night training frequency, and the female soldiers envied them.

”Squad Leader, can we apply for the night airborne training as soon as possible? I want to join the male soldiers as soon as possible.”

”That’s right, Squad Leader. We’ve been here for almost two months, but we haven’t even had a night training. The atmosphere has been so tense these few days. I feel that we should speed up the training process too. Our comrades were originally soldiers who came out of nowhere. They’re not like Ye Jian, who had a career change. Their foundation is quite solid. They can have night training.”

”All of you think that our foundation is quite solid, but you still have to consider Ye Jian. She’s still completing her day training. She hasn’t even passed day training. If we let her join the night airborne training immediately, she might lose her life.”

At the mention of Ye Jian, the more than ten female soldiers fell silent. The squad leader looked at the female soldiers and saw that their expressions were not good. She sighed and said, ”Ye Jian is working hard. We need to give her some time.

”She has zero foundation, but don’t you realize that she’s actually improving quite quickly? She has passed every item in today’s eight-hour parachute training. Checking the parachute, folding the canopy, arranging the parachute ropes and control belts, putting the canopy into the canopy cover… Her speed today was faster than that of several of you paratroopers. Do you think this speed of improvement is slow or fast?”

Although the squad leader didn’t treat Ye Jian well, as the squad leader, she couldn’t deny the improvement of a soldier. It was true that Ye Jian had a career change midway, but the squad leader had seen her improvement. Although she was still a distance away from meeting the expected standard, this speed of improvement was very satisfactory.

At her current rate of improvement, she would be able to catch up with the entire class in half a year. Of course, she still couldn’t be compared to the real paratroopers.

The squad leader’s words made most of the female soldiers nod. It was undeniable that Ye Jian, who came from the army, had improved a lot in the past two months of training. However, she still couldn’t catch up with the entire class. She couldn’t even catch up with the physical training. They didn’t know if her former military unit had arranged training for her.

Could it be that because she was a female soldier, the soldiers from the military unit took special care of her so much that they turned a blind eye to her training in the company?

”Ye Jian has improved, but she’s still dragging our class down. I still have opinions about her and don’t agree with her staying in our class.”

A female soldier spoke coldly. The 15 female soldiers were divided into two groups. One group consisted of seven people while the other consisted of eight people. Ye Jian was in a group of eight. The female soldier who had an opinion was in the same group as Ye Jian.

Another female soldier in the same group said unhappily, ”She passed the parachute training today, but what about the physical training? She was called away by Captain Lei before she finished her training. She didn’t come back until we finished our physical training. It’s been like this for more than half a month. I suspect that Ye Jian and Captain Lei have a special relationship.”

”Shut up!” The squad leader, who had a good temper, had a dark expression on her face right now. ”What nonsense are you talking about? Do you need me to wash your mouth with soap?”

Realizing that there might be more than one female soldier thinking this way, the squad leader immediately whistled. All the female soldiers quickly gathered and accepted the squad leader’s criticism. ”You can have a problem with Ye Jian, but I don’t want to hear you talking nonsense about anything else! Captain Lei is our captain. You even dare to talk about Captain Lei. Who gave you the guts?

”Lu Hui, step forward!”
