Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

The deputy commanders reminded the soldiers the same thing—it depended on the situation.

Xia Jinyuan was different. He asked Ye Jian to hit them ruthlessly without showing any mercy. She shouldn’t even think about holding back. Establishing her prestige wasn’t a joke. It was to prevent rumors from spreading in the future.

Why was a student who had just graduated from the military school able to take on such a huge responsibility? Was there something going on? Was it possible that someone else did the actual work and she was the one taking credit?

There would definitely be doubts like those. In that case, what they needed to do was to put an end to all doubts.

Even if there were doubts and people came to the camp to enquire, everyone—even the soldiers from the cooking team—should know that Ye Jian was able to take on such a heavy responsibility because of her capabilities!

Xia Jinyuan put in a lot of effort for Ye Jian’s future development.

Of course, Major General Yang was also hard at work.

Ye Jian was capable. From the age of 14, she was groomed as a talent. Now, it was time for her to show her skills and serve the country.

After Ye Jian finished warming up, Commissar Tang walked over and happily told Ye Jian that the company commander of the third company would take the lead. ”Don’t underestimate Zhu Ganggang because he’s short. He’s agile, and his iron hands can bend steel bars the size of mineral water caps.”

The company commander of the third company was named Zhu Ganggang?

What a strange name!

Ye Jian treated the nickname given to Company Commander Zhu by the camp as his real name.

Commissar Tang continued to brief Ye Jian about Company Commander Zhu’s weakness. Poor Company Commander Zhu, who was still warming up, didn’t know that Commissar Tang had sold him out.

The deputy commander of the third company saw that Commissar Tang was still talking to the female instructor in a low voice and didn’t have any intention of stopping. His heart skipped a beat as he walked toward Company Commander Zhu.

His instincts told him that Commissar Tang was doing something that was detrimental to the company commander.

At critical moments, as the deputy commander, he had to stand beside the company commander. He could not waver.

Commissar Tang told Ye Jian carefully, ”His upper body is very strong. His entire body is filled with muscles. It’s as hard as a rock. Also, he likes to take off his clothes and fight. Don’t be embarrassed when you see him do that later.

”Let me tell you another thing. Once he takes off his clothes and starts sweating, his skin will be slippery. It’ll be very difficult to catch him. Find an opportunity to cover your palms with sand from time to time. It’ll help you.

”Don’t show mercy. He looks down on our National Science University! Ha, to tell you the truth, when I was assigned here, he dared to give me a hard time even though he was just a squad leader. I’ve been suppressing my anger for 14 years. Little Ye, I’ll rely on you to stand up for me.”

Of course, the last sentence was a joke.

Although the temperature in the highlands was low, the sun was strong enough. Even though it was early in the morning, Ye Jian’s forehead started to sweat. Her palms were wet too.

Xia Jinyuan, who was also listening attentively, understood Commissar Tang’s intention. He was trying his best to take care of Ye Jian.

It sounded like he was telling Ye Jian the company commander’s weaknesses in advance, but in fact, he was letting Ye Jian know how powerful he was.

It was not easy to raise one’s position and military rank in the military unit. Company Commander Zhu went from an ordinary soldier to a squad leader and then to a company commander. His personal ability was definitely extraordinary.

After ten minutes of rest, the three companies and hundreds of soldiers gathered in their teams. Only then did Commissar Tang end his reminder.

Xia Jinyuan smiled at Ye Jian and said, ”Fight well. Defeat Company Commander Zhu, who’s a tough nut to crack, and you’ll become famous in one battle. You’ll be able to establish your might from then on.”
