Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

She was trusted, relied on, and needed. Despite having graduated from the National Science University, she would never let down the school motto.

It was just a small episode, but it became a beautiful story to the others in the carriage.

At night, just like what she said in the day, Ye Jian woke up from time to time to walk around the carriage. During this time, she even met the police on night duty twice and chatted with them for a short time.

From this, she knew that the longer the line and the more provinces the train crossed, the more thefts would happen.

The pickpockets would keep an eye on their targets during the day so that they could take action at night. At 3:00 am, when everyone was sleeping soundly, they would start moving. They were all working for the same gang. Sometimes, even when the passengers realized what was happening, they didn’t dare to make a sound for fear of retaliation.

Even though the police officers were on duty at night, that didn’t stop the cunning pickpockets. Sometimes, theft would happen the moment the police officers left. It was impossible to guard against them.

There were also many ’seat tyrants’ on the train. Some passengers didn’t have a seat ticket but wanted to sit down. These ’seat tyrants’ took the opportunity to occupy the seats of the passengers who looked honest and rode alone. Then, they sold the seats they occupied to the passengers who didn’t have a seat.

When faced with such a situation, the passengers who were bullied didn’t dare to tell the train staff at all. They didn’t dare to tell the police either. They were afraid of retaliation.

When the civilians were outside, they had the mentality that it was better to avoid trouble. As a result, some shady activities have become an industrial chain, from which people could seek profits.

The policeman told Ye Jian that a moving train was a scene of life. It could see the joys and sorrows of life. He even smiled and said to Ye Jian, ”Where there are people, there’s the world. The military unit is still the best. It’s very disciplined. All soldiers must abide by all the rules and regulations. If they violate them, they’ll be punished directly. It’s many times simpler than outside.”

Ye Jian didn’t express her opinion.

Where there were people, there was the world. Actually, the military unit was the same.

What Ye Jian didn’t expect was that this matter would bring her closer to the female soldiers of the new company.

While Ye Jian was being stared at by the people on the train, the female soldiers who were also on the train heading to the northwest were equally enthusiastic about Ye Jian. They patrolled back and forth at night and acted as stabilizers in the train.

The next morning, Ye Jian received a call from Xia Jinyuan. Xia Jinyuan then lectured Ye Jian for an hour.

He didn’t say anything else. He just told Ye Jian how to deal with those unconvinced and disobedient soldiers as soon as possible.

”It’s best to deal with soldiers who are unconvinced. Let the other party know that you’re stronger than them and they’re weaker than you. Punish the disobedient soldier until they understand what military orders are and what obedience is.

”A soldier who complies in front of others but goes against you behind your back is called a despicable person. When dealing with despicable people, you have to use despicable methods. You have to be more sinister than them and know how to play dirty. After you scheme against them, you have to tell them openly that you’re playing with them. Let them know that their tricks can’t be used on you.

”As for those wily old foxes who are obedient to you but don’t have any interest in doing anything, don’t think about taking care of them first. You have to find their weaknesses first before giving them a heavy blow. Let those wily old foxes know that being a soldier under you and being lazy is courting death!”

These were all Xia Jinyuan’s experiences. Some of them were taught by his seniors.

Now, he was telling Ye Jian everything so that she could get used to the new environment and the new military unit as soon as possible. He wanted her to get used to it as soon as possible and achieve results as soon as possible so that she could be transferred back to the brigade.
