Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Commander Xia drank a few mouthfuls of green tea to calm himself down. He said unhurriedly, ”I chatted with Engineer Fu last night and mentioned that Little Ye will arrive in Dun City around four in the afternoon today. Do you think Engineer Fu and Little Six will meet each other?

”Will the future father-in-law beat up his future son-in-law? The father and daughter haven’t seen each other for more than two years. They would want to have a long conversation. If the young brat suddenly appears and Engineer Fu beats up Little Six, I’ll be able to understand.

”I hope Little Six can withstand his future father-in-law’s beating. Even if he gets beaten up, he shouldn’t expect me to step in. Little Six is very tough. In the past, when I wanted to beat him up, Old Master would scold me. If he gets beaten up by his future father-in-law, Old Master can only accept it.”

Major General Yang took a deep breath and sighed. ”Commander, I can understand why Yuan is so anxious to fight with you every time.

”In this world, you’re the only one who wants your son to be beaten up by his future in-laws. You’re even happy about it. You’re considered an anomaly among your parents.”

Commander Xia thought about it and didn’t feel that he was an anomaly among parents.

He waved his hand and smiled nonchalantly. ”Little Six is asking for a beating. After being taught a lesson by his future father-in-law, he won’t dare to bully Little Ye anymore. Once he recalls his future father-in-law’s fists, he’ll be more obedient!

”He’s been naughty since he was young. If Little Ye can suppress him, I…” Commander Xia tapped his heart and held his teacup. He smiled casually. ”She’ll be reliable, very reliable!”

Xia Jinyuan’s shamelessness had left a psychological trauma on Commander Xia. Even though Xia Jinyuan was the leader of a team and had carried out countless missions, in Commander Xia’s heart, no matter how much Xia Jinyuan achieved, he would still be that naughty boy.

As a father, Commander Xia was not an anomaly among parents. It was just that the way he cared about his only son was different. He didn’t let him do what he wanted, nor did he interfere too much. When necessary, he would also stand up to protect his only son.

As for whether Xia Jinyuan would be beaten up by his future father-in-law, Commander Xia was looking forward to it. He asked Major General Yang not to tell Xia Jinyuan what he was about to face.

Whether it was a blessing or a curse, he couldn’t avoid it. He had to face what he had to face. Escaping wouldn’t solve the problem.

Unless he endured it and only met up with Little Ye in the Xueyu unit.

Was that possible?

That was impossible!

So, what difference did it make?

Major General Yang didn’t plan to ruin the fun between the father and son. The father and son didn’t find it tiring or troublesome. They even enjoyed it. Why should he ruin it?

Xia Jinyuan arrived at Dun City Airport around one in the afternoon and went straight to the train station. As compared to Ye Jian who took the 48-hour train, Lieutenant Colonel Xia used his salary to subsidize the plane ticket.

At this moment, Mr. Fu, who came to fetch his daughter, arrived at the train station and treated the orderly to a meal. He went to a clean hotel at the train station and booked two rooms. One was for the orderly to rest, and the other was for himself.

The orderly still needed to drive, so he naturally had to rest well.

As for Mr. Fu, he had stayed up for two consecutive nights. He didn’t want Ye Jian to see the fatigue on his face, so he took the time to rest.

The future father-in-law and son-in-law, who were supposed to meet in advance, missed each other just like that.

During the waiting process, soldiers in military uniforms carried their luggage and backpacks out of the station.

The female soldiers would report to the military depot first. When everyone was there, they would be arranged to go to the company.
