Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Establish her might?

The image that the company commander had in mind wouldn’t help the female instructor establish her might at all. Instead, he could only imagine the male soldiers throwing the female instructor around like a sandbag!

How embarrassing would it be for the female instructor?

”But you shouldn’t do that!” The company commander was worried that Ye Jian would be embarrassed in front of the male soldiers. He was a little anxious. ”Also, if she wants to establish her might, these guys shouldn’t be her opponents! The 20 female soldiers will arrive in the afternoon. She should show her might in front of them.”

Political Commissar Tang looked at the back view of the female soldier, Instructor Ye. His eyes were filled with smiles. ”What are you anxious about? Don’t you see? Captain Xia isn’t anxious, and Instructor Ye isn’t either. It’s obvious that they know what they’re doing.

”You’re worrying for nothing. Don’t panic. Calm down and take a good look at Instructor Ye’s ability. I believe it’ll be exciting.”

After he finished speaking, he paused for a moment before adding, ”It’ll be even more exciting than watching Captain Xia because she’s a female instructor.”

It would definitely be… exciting!

”Let me put it bluntly. She’s going to be beaten up by the soldiers in our battalion. Old Tang, you’ll explain it to the battalion commanders yourself. Also, Old Sun, inform Old Liang’s deputy captain in advance. Otherwise, if we wait till something really happens, it’ll be too late.”

There were three companies in the camp and three company commanders—Company Commander Zhu, Company Commander Sun, and Company Commander Liang.

Company Commander Sun had followed the battalion commanders to the base while Company Commander Liang went to the neighboring camp to communicate for a few days. Company Commander Liang wouldn’t be back for another week. Now, the deputy commander was handling company matters.

There were about 120 people in a company.

There was the company commander, the deputy company commander, and the liaison officer in each company.

There were three platoon leaders with no deputies.

There were three classes in each platoon, with a platoon leader but no deputies.

The company commander wasn’t around, so the deputy commander had full authority to handle all the company’s matters. Zhu Zhifan wasn’t just any company commander. If there was an urgent matter, he could still handle it. However, he couldn’t interfere with the company’s matters.

Political Commissar Tang saw that Company Commander Zhu didn’t have any confidence in Ye Jian and was furious. If the soldiers weren’t here, he would have kicked him away.

”You’re looking down on us again, right? Did you treat what I said last night as nonsense? Let me tell you, I’ll let you be the first to spar with Instructor Ye later.”

Political Commissar Tang was so angry that he addressed the company commander directly.

Company Commander Zhu’s expression turned completely dark as he replied, ”So be it. I’m not afraid!”

”You need to stop looking down on people!”

”I’ve never looked down on people!”

”Fine, you said it! I’ll f*cking tell Instructor Ye not to show mercy. Hit her up as hard as you can! You look down on the students who graduated from the National Science University, right? I’ll teach you a lesson today!”

The usually refined political commissar was agitated now.

The deputy commander could only feel helpless. ’Oh, Company Commander Zhu! Why do you insist on arguing with the political commissar and battalion commanders?’

The company commander waited for Political Commissar Tang to leave angrily before turning to the deputy commander. ”Did I anger the political commissar again?”

”Yes, you did,” the deputy commander replied truthfully. He was used to it.

Company Commander Zhu was angry too. He pursed his lips and said, ”Accompany tonight to write a reflective essay. Damn it, as a company commander, I wrote more reflections than my own soldiers in a year. How embarrassing!”

It was good that he knew. But even if he knew, he would continue to embarrass himself. Hence, there was nothing to be embarrassed about.

The deputy commander could not help but silently think that.
