Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Ye Jian had learned her lesson after being shot. Hence, no matter what Li Jinnian and Xia Jinyuan said, she would remember them and accept their criticism humbly.

The hundreds of kilometers from Myanmar to the Chinese border had made her feel how fragile life was several times.

It wasn’t that she wasn’t afraid that she might not be able to return. It wasn’t that she wasn’t afraid that she would collapse halfway through the journey. It was pure fear and terror that allowed her to understand the importance of health.

Now, she was being criticized by her cousin and boyfriend. They were worried about her and were afraid that she would get hurt again.

Injury was taboo in individual combat. She would remember this lesson and not dare to forget it.

Ye Jian placed Xia Jinyuan’s written list in front of the desk. In the following days, Ye Jian would read it every day and night. Every word would be etched in her heart. She would read it every day and night.

Ye Jian started preparing for the exam nervously. She only had two months to prepare. She needed to memorize all the cultural knowledge in the syllabus of the fourth-year students. Fortunately, the fourth-year students didn’t cover much on cultural knowledge and mainly focused on physical training. Hence, Ye Jian was relatively relaxed.

If she carefully calculated the time for all cultural classes in the second half of the senior year, which was seven hours a day, it would take a full month and a half. Therefore, it wasn’t difficult to compress about five months of cultural classes into two months.

In addition, the teachers of every class were very serious about tutoring Ye Jian. Hence, Ye Jian wasn’t worried about the make-up exam.

Ye Jian was recuperating peacefully in school while working hard for the make-up exam in two months. After Xia Jinyuan returned to the base, he would call Major General Yang every day to talk about ’life’. He would talk until Major General Yang was frustrated. Every time he picked up a call, he had to mentally prepare himself. After a week, Major General Yang didn’t even come back to the office.

When Commander Xia found out about this, he specially went to look for Major General Yang. He patted Major General Yang’s shoulder and sighed. ”It seems that kid is angry. You’ve suffered.”

Little Ye was injured and awarded a medal in the end. There were no other substantial rewards. How could his protective boy not be angry?

Hence, with his personality, he would definitely cause trouble for the military.

Major General Yang could only smile bitterly. ”He knows that military orders can’t be disobeyed. He doesn’t resist openly, so he can only cause trouble for me secretly.

”Actually, I can’t say that he’s causing trouble for you. He just wants to chat. Commander, he’s about to talk my ears off. When do you think you can raise Little Ye’s military rank? Even I feel that Little Ye has suffered because of the lieutenant rank, let alone him.”

That brat needed accurate information. Before he got accurate information, Major General Yang’s ears were at stake.

Commander Xia smiled and replied to the worried Major General Yang with an expression like a father who knew his son best, ”Arrange something for him so that he won’t have the time to chat with you.

”This kid still needs to be trained. Although his personality is much better than before, he still has sharp edges that need to be dealt with. Only by grinding them down will it benefit his future development.”

Although Commander Xia had never interfered with any of Xia Jinyuan’s decisions and didn’t seem to be worried about Xia Jinyuan’s future development, he was still a parent. How could he not make plans for his child?

Helping his only son’s future development without violating the rules of the military wouldn’t evoke any criticism.
