Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

The angry voices floated into Ye Jian’s ears from time to time, causing her eyes to darken. These people were having a disagreement about whether to continue chasing her or not.

If they stopped chasing after her, it would naturally be good for her.

The stars in the sky flickered, illuminating the night sky with a hazy smoke. Her vision could reach up to ten meters. Ye Jian, who was lying on the ground, couldn’t hear any footsteps. She heaved a sigh of relief and stood up slowly.

In the end, they gave up on chasing because they still had to guard the outside and not let anyone in.

They wanted to turn Covil and Yeni into a lone town and an isolated city. They wanted to clear out the government offices and NPFL militants in both places.

As for the Chinese peacekeeping soldiers who entered the two places, it was unknown what would happen to them.

However, from the fact that they were chasing after the Chinese peacekeepers, it could be seen that they were hostile to the Chinese peacekeepers. The Chinese peacekeepers were probably their targets.

Why were these people so confident that they could turn a small town and a city into their territory? Where did they get the confidence to go against the government forces and the NPFL militants?

After leaving the forest, Ye Jian kept thinking about it. She had memorized the map to the town of Covil. Even if she was thinking about something, she knew which direction to go in.

It had been an hour since she covered Squad Leader Feng and He Wei, letting them escape first. Ye Jian relied on her strong abilities and her sharpness as a sniper to entangle with two platoons of soldiers in the hot forest for an hour.

One hour was enough for Squad Leader Feng and He Wei to reach the camp of the Chinese peacekeeping forces in the small town of Covil.

A truck drove out of the camp quickly. The sentinel had already pulled open the iron gate of the camp. The strong headlights lit up the front and split the night sky like a sword.

There were a total of 15 armed peacekeeping soldiers in the car. Squad Leader Feng and He Wei, who had returned to the camp five minutes ago, were among them. They and the other 13 peacekeeping soldiers went to rescue the female special forces soldier who came to reinforce them.

”She’ll be fine. Don’t worry. Special Forces soldiers won’t be killed so easily.” In the car, Squad Leader Feng patted He Wei, whose muscles were tense. ”She’ll be fine. She’ll be safe.”

The young soldier hugged the steel gun and tightened his jaw. Even now, he regretted not staying. He should have stayed.

”I should’ve stayed with her. I shouldn’t have let her face it alone. Even if she’s a special forces female soldier… she needs support.”

He Wei’s voice was hoarse. He said heavily, ”It’s better to have two people than one, right?”

”No, not to her,” Squad Leader Feng said in a low voice. ”She’s the reinforcement invited by the special forces soldiers who have already arrived in Libya. This shows that she’s extraordinary. Otherwise, it would’ve been impossible for them to ask a female soldier to come specially.

”If we had stayed, we’d only be a burden to the special forces soldier who’s good at night combat and individual combat. Our ability isn’t enough to support her, and we can’t keep up with her combat ability.”

His words made He Wei clench his fists even tighter. Hence, they were the ones who implicated her.

”Don’t think too much. She said that she’ll be able to escape. I believe that she’ll be able to escape!” Squad Leader Feng, who was also worried, patted the soldier’s shoulder heavily. He didn’t want to say any of his concerns out loud. He didn’t want to add to the psychological pressure on the young soldier.
