Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Ye Jian didn’t expose herself completely. She was just trying to buy time for Squad Leader Feng and He Wei to escape. She didn’t plan to kill two platoons of soldiers alone. That would be too time-consuming and would expose that she was fighting alone. Once these people realized that and started shooting blindly into the forest, it would be difficult for her to escape even if she had extraordinary abilities.

20 minutes later, Ye Jian, who had taken care of six people, started to retreat. She had stalled for enough time. She believed that Squad Leader Feng and He Wei had escaped safely.

In the forest, the illegal militants had already discovered that their companions were dead. Strange cries came from everywhere. The entire forest was filled with the sound of leaves rustling. The voices were filled with shock and anger.

”Damn it! Come over quickly! They killed our compatriots! They killed our compatriots!”

Someone shouted angrily. His neck was thick, and his eyes were bulging. He was so angry that his blood vessels seemed to be about to explode.

”Brewer! Brewer! Damn it, the Chinese peacekeepers killed Brewer!”

”I want to kill them! I want to kill them!”

The entire forest was in chaos. The two scattered platoons realized that their compatriots had fallen. They ran over, causing the leaves to rustle. The sound of branches breaking could be heard.

”They must be nearby. They must still be nearby. Find them! Hurry up and find them!”

”Everyone, be careful!”

Chaotic footsteps sounded. They were no longer as arrogant as when they rushed into the forest. Instead, they were nervous. They would stand with their backs against each other, and there would people at the back as well as the front. The six silent deaths had cast a shadow on them, making them tense. They were no longer as bold as before.

Ye Jian, who was hiding on the tree, slowly came down and retreated from their encirclement step by step. Now, it was her chance to escape.

Ye Jian wasn’t anxious. She chose the safest route to retreat. She tiptoed and left the group of illegal militants without making a sound.

The smell of blood in the forest was extremely strong. Ye Jian’s assassination method was also the most commonly used method by the special forces of the Xueyu unit—throat slitting.

They cut horizontally from the side of the neck. The aorta was the first to be cut. The blade would then cut deeply into the throat. The vocal cord and trachea were cut off one by one. In this way, the six illegal militants were killed silently.

The silent assassination angered the illegal militants. After searching for a few minutes, they found another compatriot who was killed. This time, the anger in their hearts was completely ignited. They were no longer just searching. They directly used their guns and raised them in their hands. They fired blindly into the forest like firecrackers.

”They must still be nearby. Kill them! Kill them!”

”Don’t let them escape! Damn it, we don’t need their help!”

They roared angrily. Having lost their minds, they started the most familiar slaughter.

The bullets pierced through the trees and cut off the leaves. The sharp fragments of the trees and the green leaves landed on Ye Jian’s head and body.

Ye Jian couldn’t retreat anymore. She could only lie down temporarily.

The bullets above her head flew past and countless fragments fell. Unexpectedly, they covered a thin layer of Ye Jian’s back.

This went on for at least five minutes before the firecracker-like sounds in the forest stopped. Someone started speaking. The Libyan language was English. Although the accent was strong, Ye Jian could understand it.
