Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

The three of them continued moving forward. The other party had a car. None of them could escape.

The best way was to run in different directions and give the chance to the female soldier who came to support the special forces.

Hearing that, Ye Jian turned her head and said without thinking, ”Run in two waves. I’ll lure them away!”

But it was too late.

Squad Leader Feng rushed to the side of the road alone. He planned to lure the car away.

Ye Jian’s gaze turned vicious.

This wouldn’t do. Something would happen to Squad Leader Feng.

Without thinking, Ye Jian ran to the road and rushed toward Squad Leader Feng, who was slow in comparison.

Before the truck arrived, the dim headlights of the truck shot over from the bumpy road. Ye Jian held Squad Leader Feng’s wrist tightly and said sternly, ”Leave it to me. I’ll handle it!”

”Ambush on both sides. I’ll shoot their driver and the headlights. As long as we solve these two things, we’ll gain some time.”

As Ye Jian spoke, she took action. Her action was… to run back!

This shocked Squad Leader Feng and He Wei. Why was she running back?

”Squad Leader…” He Wei was so anxious that he was sweating even more.

Squad Leader Feng said in a low voice, ”Follow the arrangements. Follow her!”

Now, it was time for actual combat. They had only undergone combat exercises in the country and lacked real combat experience. Since the female soldier had come to support the special forces and carried heavy responsibilities, she must have their lack of real combat experience.

The female soldier in front of them might be a female special forces soldier who had been on a real battlefield and could quickly fight at a disadvantage.

Without giving Squad Leader Feng and He Wei too much time to think, Ye Jian, who was agile, quickly laid on the uneven road. Her cover was… a slope.

”Cover me!”

Ye Jian laid down and loaded the bullets. Her finger was already on the trigger. She didn’t give the two of them a chance to regret things. She didn’t want Squad Leader Feng to risk his life to lure the enemy away.

In that case, she might as well take a gamble!

”He Wei, cover!”

Squad Leader Feng, who was sweating profusely, didn’t have the time to consider things. His voice was so heavy, but he had to bring himself to execute orders.

The two of them laid in the grass on both sides of the road. There was no cover.

They had no cover, but they still had to fight the enemy head-on. This was the most dangerous combat. However, the three of them had no choice.

They were at least two kilometers away from the forest in front of them. There was no way they could run in.

In that case, they could only give it their all!

Ye Jian was betting on her shooting speed and accuracy.

The truck, which looked like it should be scrapped, bounced up and down along with the rise and fall of the road. The headlights of the truck, which were not bright, swayed over. When the front of the truck tilted up and lowered, Ye Jian’s slender finger instantly pulled the trigger.

The reason why she came back was to find an advantage among the disadvantages. Her current shooting position was the advantage she found.

There were two slopes in front of her. She was on the third small slope. If the car tilted, the driver’s vision would be affected. She would have a slight advantage, and that was when she would shoot.

The front windows of the cars were usually 5mm tempered or 3+2 laminated rubber, while the Type 95 automatic rifles, with 5.8mm ammunition, could penetrate 8mm steel plates within 100 meters and still have a small lethality.

It was the lethality of the rifle combined with her current shooting position. This was what Captain Xia said—find the advantage from the disadvantage and counter-attack!
