Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

In Li Jinnian’s plan, he only wanted his cousin to infiltrate the village as a female soldier to ask for information. Other than that, Li Jinnian had no other thoughts.

However, things would always happen out of one’s expectations.

At this moment, Ye Jian was already exchanging fire. After entering the forest, she was already fighting with the illegal militants.

There were at least two platoons of soldiers, but there were only three of them.

”This is the only way to enter Covil and Yeni. They’re now controlled by illegal militants. I guess something must have happened to Covil and Yeni.”

Panting heavily, Squad Leader Feng said in a tense and deep voice, ”They’re all illegal militants. I’m afraid it’ll be difficult for us to get there.”

He wasn’t afraid of facing difficulty. It was just that the current situation was already very difficult.

There weren’t enough soldiers or firepower. The other party had two platoons of soldiers… Ye Jian was facing the biggest problem in her military career.

”We can’t exchange fire with them anymore.” Ye Jian tightened her grip on the rifle in her hand. Her gaze was cold as she said, ”We don’t have enough ammunition. If we continue exchanging fire, it’ll be disadvantageous to us. Now, we can only retreat.”

Squad Leader Feng agreed. They couldn’t fight head-on. There were three of them against at least two platoons of soldiers. They shouldn’t even think about using firepower to win.

”Squad Leader Feng, He Wei, the two of you retreat first. I’ll cover you. I don’t have to worry. I can protect myself.” Ye Jian finished speaking in one breath. She didn’t give Squad Leader Feng a chance to speak. ”I’m good at night combat and individual combat. Hence, I’ll cover you. You guys retreat.”

Feng Yu’s pupils constricted. He lowered his voice and said, ”No, you’re here to save people. You should go to the town immediately. I’ll cover you. You and He Wei retreat!”

He Wei, who was in charge of guarding, turned his head and said firmly, ”I’ll cover you. Squad Leader Feng, retreat with the female soldier!”

Squad Leader Feng had a wife and daughter. As for him, he was fine!

”Listen to my arrangements, He Wei. I’m good at night combat. At the same time, I have actual combat experience. My biggest actual combat experience almost required me to step on corpses. Hence, I’ll cover you while you and Squad Leader Feng retreat.

”Stop talking nonsense. It’s a waste of time!”

Ye Jian’s voice was icy. He Wei’s mouth was pressed into a straight line.

”I don’t want to waste any more time. Squad Leader Feng, retreat with your soldier immediately!” After Ye Jian finished speaking, she hunched her back and instantly rushed out. She didn’t give the two peacekeepers any chance to speak.

The forest was terrifyingly quiet. It was so quiet that one could hear one’s heart palpitating in panic. He Wei’s eyes were red as he said in a low voice, ”Squad Leader, retreat. I’ll stay! We can’t let her cover us alone.”

Squad Leader Feng endured until his fingers were trembling. His lips trembled. In the end, he gritted his teeth and said, ”He Wei, retreat!” His voice was choked with tears.

Ye Jian, who was good at night combat and individual combat, wasn’t afraid of facing two platoons of soldiers alone. She never thought that she would fall here. As long as they didn’t exchange fire, she could clear a path for herself.

She was good at night combat and assassination!

She was confident that she could deal with these people.

After coming out of the hiding spot, Ye Jian was at least five to six meters away from Squad Leader Feng and He Wei. The leaves rustled. The illegal militants who entered the forest to search screamed and chased after Ye Jian.

”Let’s go!”

They chased after her. Squad Leader Feng and He Wei immediately retreated. They had to rush back to the camp. They had to bring people to support the female soldier!

There was the smell of blood in the wind. Ye Jian, who was fighting alone, was like the Grim Reaper in the forest. She used the combat dagger in her hand to stab the necks of her targets. Then, she cut sideways and twisted it. The aorta, trachea, and vocal cord were cut… There was no chance of survival.
