Chapter 665: Chapter 550 Meeting an Old Friend in a Foreign Place_1

The roaring sound rose with the chant. As armor and sections of the truck body fell away, a crisscrossing metal storm sprayed out in all directions, leaving exaggerated trails of diffusion in the air.

Inside the weapon, which looked as heavy as a shotgun, a mechanism completely different from those found in Current Circumstances was used. It abandoned gunpowder reactions. Instead, it housed a crude Alchemy Reaction Chamber in the barrel. This chamber relied on the most brutish destruction of tiny miracles to transmute Lead into Iron and activate silver, naturally creating this conical metal downpour in Hell.

Within a range of fifteen meters, the silver torrent made from the vapor of lead and iron brought terrorizing lethality comparable to any other weapon.

Indeed, it had downsides, like being difficult to reload and not being cost-effective, but with the supply from the Iron Crystal Throne, these were no longer problems.

Now, as the glistening silver rain burst forth, the first three flames were immediately torn asunder. Amidst the exploding flames, it seemed as if some desiccated corpses fell, but they quickly disappeared from sight with the speeding truck.

The roar of a helicopter came from the sky.

The massive flyer suddenly accelerated. Seizing the opportunity of an impassable side street, it actually raced to their very front. The huge body nimbly changed direction, flew backward, and gradually lowered its height.

Across a distance of several dozen meters, Huai Shi could almost see the Steel Knight shrouded in Armor inside the cockpit, beside the pilot.

Behind the slim slit of the Mask Armor’s eyes, a pair of red pupils showed no flicker of emotion.

Looking in their direction.

”God damn Dispersed Yin Souls!” Raymond cursed under his breath. ”It’s just some extra retirement money... Do you really need to go this far?!”

He reached out, yanked the lever beside him, and rapidly flipped the switches on the dashboard above the cockpit.

The engine roared, with gusts of hot air bursting from beneath the chassis. The colossal truck seemed to shrink slightly, becoming a tad more compact and nimble.

It seems they sensed our intention to escape, Huai Shi thought.

Beneath the massive body of the flyer, several more landing pods were thrown out, with over a dozen Salamander flames rising from within them.

Those flames, echoing the large groups closely pursuing them from behind, communicated with bizarre screams in the air, blocking their evasive paths.

They weren’t in a hurry to attack but rather sought to harass continuously, creating trouble for them.

Huai Shi pulled out The Fly King, aiming forward. Should I give these bastards a hard hit? But with only four bullets left in Judgment Mode, he didn’t want to act rashly unless absolutely necessary. Switching the magazine to solid ammunition, he began loading the thumb-thick bullets one by one.

A total of six. Beelzebub began to moan contentedly, about to say something sleazy like ”being filled inside.” But Huai Shi briskly closed the chamber and pulled down the window, giving it no chance to spout trash talk. He then leaned out, ignored the chaotic flying embers, and pulled the trigger repeatedly, aiming at the distant helicopter.

An earth-shaking BOOM erupted.

The Fly King in solid ammunition mode had a recoil so tremendous it felt like a wild horse struggling fiercely. Even with Huai Shi’s grip strength, it nearly flew out of his hand.

The thumb-thick alloy bullets, ignited by the matrix, instantly turned red-hot. Piercing the air and leaving a stark white trail, they lunged toward the flyer.

Its kinetic energy, comparable to that of large-caliber sniper rifles, gave the bullets the power to penetrate Armor. They ravaged the trivial steel in front, tore through the cockpit’s windshield, and arrived before the pilot in an instant.

But the moment Huai Shi fired, the Man in Armor in the co-pilot’s seat suddenly drew his sword, placing the thick spine of the Heavy Sword in the path of the bullet’s raging trajectory.

CLANG! The collision of steel against steel rang out thunderously.

The Seat of the Man in Armor twisted, unexpectedly fracturing and warping from its base.

The Heavy Sword howled from the shockwave, a faint dent appearing on its blade. A deformed bullet core fell from the sword’s spine, landing on the back of the pilot’s hand, SIZZLING.

Without needing a command, the pilot endured the searing pain. Narrowly spared from death, he pressed the red button, activating the deflection field on the aircraft’s body. He then dropped two black cargo containers and quickly ascended.

Then, as Huai Shi’s gunfire continued, the pilot watched the fuel gauge plummet.

The field conversion engine emitted a roar of overload; the calculation chips nearly crashed from the excessive surge in that short span.

It felt as though they were being bombarded by a cannon at close range!

After firing six bullets, Huai Shi felt as if his wrist was about to break.

Just as he was about to turn and deal with the dozen or so Salamanders flitting about, he saw the clusters of fire behaving like rabbits seeing a dog, each jumping crazily left and right in place.

They were thoroughly frightened by Beelzebub.

Seeing Huai Shi’s gun barrel aim toward them, they employed frantic tactical maneuvers, dodging farther away than a Little Cat fleeing from debt collectors.

But before he could rid himself of these entangling pests, the two cargo containers dropped by the flyer smashed down in front of the truck.

Raymond executed a drift on the spot that nearly threw Huai Shi out.

Immediately following the cargo containers’ shattering, two roaring motorcycles burst out, carrying Knights in full Armor who raced toward them.
