Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 747:- Peaceful Days

Right after Amelia left, Spencer came to his new office. No matter which day it was, their work never ended. ”Your Majesty, Viscount Jaime Cleveland is planning to hold his sisterʼs marriage ceremony in three days. This morning, he sent out several invitations, including ones addressed to both you and me. The letter mentioned the details of the event and expressed his hope that we would attend.” Aditya was reading the letter that Viscount Jaime wrote to him with his own hand. It wasnʼt just Aditya and Spencer who were invited. Rather, Each General received a handwritten letter. Since Julia and others can be considered a part of the Royal Family, one letter to the Emperor was enough.

”Your Majesty, are you going to attend this wedding?” Spencer asked. The Istarin Empire had hundreds of nobles. Almost every month, the Emperor received many invitations not just from the nobles of the Istarin Empire but also from nobles of the allying Empires and Kingdoms. Some invitations could be for birthday parties, weddings, balls, masquerades, inaugurations, victory feasts, coronations, anniversaries, and more. Aditya did not have the time to attend all of such events. Aditya put down the letter and looked at Spencer with a helpless smile. ”I am not that interested in such events. In fact, no one from my family is really interested in such events. Otherwise, I would have sent my little brother Leo or someone else from the Royal Family to attend these events on my behalf.” Spencer nodded his head in understanding. He also did not hate social gatherings that much. He preferred spending his free time with his wife. ”Spencer, since the wedding is three days away, why donʼt you attend the wedding with your wife?” Aditya suggested. ”Your Majesty, I am really not that interested.” Spencer looked reluctant to go.

”Think about it. This would be the first event that you and your wife will attend as a married couple. I think it would be an excellent opportunity for my sister-in-law to make some friends and acquaintances from the noble circle. Maybe, in the future, these connections will come in handy.”

When Aditya put it like that, Spencer really could not find any excuse to counter his words. ”I guess I have no choice.” Spencer reluctantly had to agree. ”Perfect!!! Please deliver a second wedding gift on my behalf as well.” Spencer nodded. ”Alright, is there anything else that needs my attention today?” Aditya asked. It was really late evening. Aditya wanted to go out of his office and spend some time with his family. ”Not really...!! Perfect! Then letʼs stop here. You can also leave your work to your assistants and enjoy your time with your wife.” ”I will.” Spencer nodded. Aditya was about to leave, but then he remembered something. ”Now that peace has finally returned to the whole Empire again, why donʼt you continue your honeymoon with your sister-in-law?” Aditya asked. Last time, Spencer had to cancel their honeymoon and return early because the Empire needed him. But now, Aditya feels that he can manage for a while without Spencer. ”Right now, neither of us is interested in taking a long vacation. When the time is right, I will request a vacation for my honeymoon.” ”Alright!!”

”I am leaving now.” Aditya disappeared from his office. -

Scene Change______

”The Dragon Palace has become really beautiful and peaceful,” Luna said while walking a step behind Aditya. She purposely kept a step distance from him, not because she was afraid of him or anything like that, but out of respect for Aditya. ”The Dragon Palace is the home of the Dragon Monarch. It has to be beautiful and peaceful; otherwise, it wouldnʼt be suitable as a Monarchʼs residence.” Hearing this, Luna giggled. Even though he said these words so arrogantly, he did not have the Arrogance that other Emperors or Kings had. In fact, given his attire, an unfamiliar observer might mistake him for an ordinary man with a striking visage.

”From now on, you will live here. You can choose any room from any floor.” Aditya gave her a room in the Academy. Since the whole Academy building was empty for now, she became its first resident. ”Thank you, Your Majesty.” Luna was grateful to Aditya. He was really helping her restart her life. She knew he wasnʼt doing this out of special feelings for her or pity but because he valued her power and wanted to use her. But Luna did not mind. Aditya has kept his intentions transparent. He hasnʼt deceived her. He treated her very kindly even though she was his slave. ”Aside from training Amber, youʼre free to do whatever you want, that is, as long as you donʼt break any rules.”

”Alright!! Can I continue cultivating?” Luna asked in a hopeful tone. Given the Aura inside the Dragon Palace, Luna wanted to continue her cultivation journey. It would be simply a huge waste not to cultivate in this place. ”Of course, you can. Just donʼt use your powers inside the Dragon Palace.” Luna silently nodded her head. ”I will assign a Maid to you. She will take care of your needs. Of course, if you want you can say no now. I am not forcing you.” ”No, I would really appreciate that.” Luna has gotten used to making others do all of her chores. She was actually kind of worried about how she was going to do all of her chores. But with a maid, not only all of her needs will be taken care of, but also she will have a companion to talk to and interact with. ”Take care, Miss Luna. If you need anything then please donʼt hesitate to come to the Palace.” Luna was the only one aside from the Seven Generals with this authority. Watching Aditya leave, Luna silently bowed her head in his direction. She kept bowing until he completely disappeared from her view. -

Scene Change________

Behind the white Dragon Palace was a garden, which was a private reserve that only belonged to the members of the Dragon Palace.

Compared to before, the Garden was 11,000 square meters big. The Garden had a small pond at the center of it. Next to the garden was a 10,000 square meters big training.

If needed, the garden can be expanded by taking space from the training ground. This evening, all the girls of the Dragon Palace have gathered here. What first appeared to be an empty field was transformed into a grassland by the powers of the Goddess of Nature. At the center of the Garden, there was a tall oak tree. The tree wasnʼt taller than the white Dragon Palace in front of them. Everyone was sitting near the oak tree. There were tables and chairs enough for everyone. The maids were serving tea and snacks. ”I can grow so many herbs in this place.” Julia excitedly looked around the garden to find a spot to grow herbs. With Riya, she wonʼt need to wait for months if not years for these herbs to grow. These herbs can be grown within a few hours. ”I want to plant some magic fruit trees.” Riya also wanted to plant flowers and fruit trees. ”Hey, but cover the whole garden with plants. Leave some space for us to hang out.” It was Alicia who said. Lara, Lilith, Sylvie, and others agreed with Alicia. ”Alright!!” ”I think the training ground is taking too much space. If we take about 2000 square meters space from the training ground, then we can grow more things.” Julia agreed with Riyaʼs suggestion. ”But we will need to ask Aditya about this first.” ”I can use space this chance to grow more Dragon grass.” Fortunately, when the Dragon Palace changed, nothing happened to the Dragon Grass or any of the other plants and herbs that were growing in the Garden. ”These two are always about plants and herbs....!! Why canʼt they just lay down and enjoy this peaceful weather.” Unlike others, Lilith was saying on the grass and was staring at the sky. She was feeling really lazy. She felt that she might fall asleep at any given second now. ʼI guess it wouldnʼt be bad to take a nap here.ʼ Without even realizing it, Lilith closed her eyes and fell asleep.

Lilith felt someone was poking her right cheek. At first, she ignored it, but after a while, it became too annoying to ignore.

”Who is it?” Lilith asked in an angry tone. All of her anger instantly disappeared when she saw it was Aditya. ”Sorry! I couldnʼt control myself.” Aditya said, smiling. He was sitting on the grass next to her. ”Donʼt do that next time.” Lilith sat up and leaned on him. This time, she did not close her eyes. Rather, she kept staring at the Dragon Palace. ”Youʼre finally here.” Around the same time, Riya and Julia also returned from their short walk to explore the garden. Both girls also sat on the grass near Aditya. ”Yeah!! I am finally done with my work.” Lara, Sylvie, Sasha, and others felt that it was no longer enjoyable to sit on the chair. Instead, they wanted to sit down.

So following Lara, others also sat on the grass. Everyone spent the evening hanging out in the garden.
