Chapter 739:- Soul Binding Contract

”I came here with an offer.” Aditya pulled out a chair from his storage ring and sat on it, facing Luna. ”Offer?” Luna first looked at Aditya to see whether this man was being serious or not. She silently stared at him for a few seconds. After concluding that he was serious about it, Luna finally showed some interest. After all, it would be a lie to say that she wasnʼt interested in this offer. Right now, Luna was really desperate. She wanted to leave this void. To her, staying in this place was much more painful than being killed. She was prepared to accept any offer in return for leaving this place.

However, Luna also knew that she could not show her desperation. Otherwise, this cunning man will take advantage of her. ”What offer?” Luna asked while swirling her finger with her hair. ”Before that, I am curious about one thing.” Seeing his small smile, Luna had a bad feeling in her heart. ”I heard that you were that manʼs lover.” By that man, Aditya was talking about Felix, the one whom he had killed. ”So what?” Luna didnʼt sound pleased. ”Is it true? Or you two were just pretending to love each other so that you two can benefit from each otherʼs powers.” Aditya asked with a smile. Since he has killed Felix, many things were left buried. But through this woman, it was possible to learn more about these buried secrets. ”I did not love him.” Lunaʼs tone was cold. Her eyes were also cold. ”So itʼs the latter then.....!!!” At this moment, Luna wanted nothing more than to shut this manʼs mouth forever. This man was really annoying. Unfortunately, every prisonerʼs cultivation was sealed. She was weak as an ordinary human being. Right now, Luna cannot even use the lowest-level skill in her arsenal. Seeing the cold frown on her face, Aditya felt amused. No wonder, Lilith loved teasing this woman so much. ”Are you going to speak about the offer or not?” Luna asked in a displeased tone. ”If not, then leave. I am sure as the Emperor of the Istarin Empire, work is the last thing that you lack.” ”Hahaha....!!!!” Instead of getting angry, Aditya surprisingly laughed. ”Actually, my work has significantly decreased ever since I killed your so-called Lover and put you here.” Seeing her frowning, Aditya decided to stop. ”Here is my offer.”

”I want you to train my 5th General Amber in illusion magic.” Hearing this, Luna instantly became interested. ʼNow that I know what he wants, I can use it to my advantage.ʼ Luna thought in her mind. But only if she realized that she was his prisoner. There was no reason for Aditya to ask her in the first place. He can just force her and she wouldnʼt be able to resist. ”Sure! But what benefits I will receive in return?” Luna asked with a smile. This was the first time Aditya had seen her smile. ”What benefits are you expecting to receive?” Aditya countered back. He wanted to know what she wanted and how much she was willing to fight for them. ”The first thing that I want is to get out of this place forever.” Luna hated this place more than anything. She did not like this constant darkness surrounding her. This darkness messed with her perception of time and space. Right now, she has no idea how long she has been trapped inside this cell. If one were to tell her that she has been here for more than 10 days, then she would believe it. ”I can accept that. But if you try to do anything funny. By funny, I mean like making an attempt to escape, trying to control anyone with your magic, or using your illusion magic to harm or hurt people or to cause trouble, then you will sent back to your cell.” Luna had no choice but to nod at his words. ”And this time, I will make sure that hundreds of young Orcs males are in your cell to welcome you. They will keep you accompanied.” Hearing Adityaʼs words, Luna started trembling. Just imagining something like this filled her heart with fear and made her body very restless.

”I wonʼt do anything,” Luna said in a loud tone. ”Good!!” Adita nodded his head in satisfaction. ”What else do you want?” Aditya asked. ”Since I am going to be training General Amber, I want to be paid.” Money was everything. Luna needed money if she wanted to restart her life. ”So you want a monthly salary?” Luna nodded. ”How much do you want?” Aditya asked. ”Not too much!! Maybe a few million Royal gold coins.” Hearing this, Aditya nearly coughed out blood. This was an outrageous amount. A few million Royal gold coins were a few hundred million gold coins. Aditya may be rich, but that doesnʼt mean he was the type who just threw away his money. Aditya said nothing else. He just put the chair in his storage ring and began to walk away. ”HEY! WHERE ARE YOU GOING?” Luna shouted in an urgent tone. She held the iron bars of her cell and looked at Adityaʼs back, which was gradually disappearing into the darkness. ”Fine!! Just give me a basic salary.” It was only then that Aditya stopped and turned. He shamelessly turned around and walked back. His expression remained the same. ”I will give you 10,000 Royal gold coins per month.” That was 100,000 gold coins per month. This was still a very high and generous salary for a slave. ”Alright!!” Luna was surprised. She thought that she would receive at most a few thousand gold coins as salary. She did not expect him to be this generous. Luna admits that she crossed the line by demanding a few million Royal gold coins. ”This is the first time I have met such a stingy Emperor.” Aditya rolled his eyes and responded. ”And this is the first time I have met such a demanding Slave.” Hearing this, Luna awkwardly coughed. What Aditya said was true. She was their slave. Meaning, he doesnʼt really need to negotiate anything with her. He can just order her to do anything. After all, he now owned her life. ”By the way, did Lilith come to see you?” Aditya curiously asked. Hearing Lilithʼs name, Lunaʼs face turned pale. Her body slightly shivered in fear. ”Donʼt mention that woman.” ”Itʼs a good thing that she hasnʼt come here.” After all, knowing all the things that Lilith promised to bring to her cell, Luna would rather stay in this void than meet that Succubus. ”Alright, letʼs continue. What else do you want? Let me warn you if you cross the line; then you will ultimately get nothing.”

”I want a residence of my own. It can be old, shabby, and even broken. It doesnʼt matter. But I want to live in my own house.” ”You will live in the Dragon Palace.” If she stayed in the Dragon Palace, then without Adityaʼs permission, she wonʼt be able to exit the Dragon Palace. This meant that she wonʼt be able to flee. And if she stayed in the Dragon Palace, she would always be under Aditya and otherʼs surveillance. After all, Aditya did not trust her. ”That works!!” Luna nodded. ʼThis reminds me the Dragon Palace is starting to become a little bit cramped.ʼ This was because thousands of Dragonians and Dragon Warriors came to the Dragon Palace to cultivate. ʼI should work on expanding the Dragon Palace.ʼ Aditya made a mental note to think about this matter later. ”Alright! Anything else?”

”Lastly, I want you to lift the seal on my cultivation.” Luna felt nervous while saying these words. After all, she knew that Aditya did not trust her which is the reason why, she was going to live in the Dragon Palace.

Aditya began to think for a moment. Seeing this, Luna started to become nervous. She felt that she had made the wrong choice. Maybe, she should have asked for this later. ”I can lift the seal on your cultivation if you agree to sign a soul-binding contract with me.” Hearing this, Luna felt relieved in her heart but she also wondered what kind of contract he wanted her to sign. ”The contract is simple. The contract will prevent you from harming the Istarin Empire, its people, its interests, or anyone in the Empire or its allies in any way. You wonʼt be allowed to use your powers to flee or cause trouble using your powers. Breaking any terms and conditions of the contract means that your soul will be destroyed.”

”Donʼt worry, I am not planning on fleeing. Even if I flee, where will I go or where can I go?” Their hideout has been destroyed by Aditya. Now that her real face has been revealed to the whole world, the people of the places where she used to live also know what kind of heinous and despicable person she is. No one would accept her. She would get nothing but hate. So staying inside the Dragon Palace was the best option for her.

”Letʼs sign the contract now.” Aditya made the contract in front of Luna and then let her read all the terms and conditions of the contract. Once she was satisfied, she signed the contract. She had no choice but to sign the contract. After all, this was what would give her freedom back. She wasnʼt totally free but at least, her situation has massively improved. ----------------
